Boundless Human World - Chapter 45 Aimless. Living. Part 2
One month passed quickly since Shura arrived and settled down in this remote area away from other people and civilization.
The 31st day began like all the previous days: waking up in the morning. The sight of the wooden ceiling greeted Shura’s eyes. The house was mostly empty, there weren’t any decorations or furnitures at all.
“What should I do today? Shura subconsciously said out loud to himself. The answer would be in habitual actions that he had accustomed himself to.
Shura hunted some animals, cooked them, and ate a scrumptious breakfast. He then brushed his teeth and took a bathe in a nearby stream.
That was it for his needs in the morning. Shura returned to his house and sat outside on one of the wooden chairs he had made. He was no craftsman of fine things and it looked ugly, but it didn’t hurt to sit on and it functioned well enough.
If nothing new happened, Shura would continue to sit here as he observed nature, then he would eat lunch when it was noon and then continue to idle about. Then he would eat dinner and be idle some more before going to bed.
If he was lucky he would see some good and interesting dreams at night, and if he wasn’t then he wouldn’t have any dreams. Then he would wake up the next day.
There could’ve been any variation to this routine, but it would not change it on a fundamental level. He could’ve been someone who lived in the cities who chased after wealth and comfort. He would wake up, eat, then go to work, whether as an employee or employer. Most of the day would be spent chasing after profit and wealth. After work what little amount of time he had he would spend on some personal hobby or interests to pass the time, then he would sleep at night.
Although that wasn’t what he was doing now, even if he lived like that, that kind of life wasn’t any different from this one where he didn’t have any obligations and he wasn’t doing anything at all other than being idle.
Nothing happened. It was good. Something happened, it was good too. Everything happened, it was still good.
This was a life lived with naturalness and awareness. People usually took daily living for granted and never really ‘live’ as they chased after a mental concept of dreams and ambitions in their heads, far removed from reality and the world being experienced in the present.
As Shura observed his surroundings and himself silently. He heard sounds of movement getting nearer to him. He around and saw some lizards, six of them, surrounding him and his wooden table.
They all had hungry gazes and they were dripping saliva. All of these lizards were beasts with bulging muscles. They were twice as tall as he was.
A minute later these intruders were easily dealt with. Shura returned to his seat.
Five minutes later more lizards came. These were different from the ones that came before. They were taller, bigger, more menacing. There were over ten of them this time.
Shura stood up, his trusty red sword appeared in his hand. Shura dealt with this batch too and returned to his seat.
Aside from the incursions by the lizards, nothing as of note happened during the day. And soon, another day ended.
And then another day began. On this day Shura didn’t ask himself what he should do. A thought appeared at the back of his mind, whispering doubts to him. ‘Was this really the right thing to do? To let go of everything and go about things naturally like this, far removed from his desires and wants? Why was he doing this? Was there any meaning in any of this? Was this right? Was this wrong?’
The wayward thoughts were immediately suppressed as soon as they appeared. Then they became stronger and stronger. Shura decided to not bother with it. Whatever doubt or anxiety he would have, or whatever thoughts would come up on its own, Shura would let it.
Shura went through the motions that he had become habituated to. Everything was different today, however. Shura was different today.word appeared in his hand. Shura dealt with this batch too and returned to his seat.

Shura went through the motions that he had become habituated to. Everything was different today, however. Shura was different today. Doubt and worry cast a shadow over him, and he felt very gloomy.
Shura decided to calm his mind and meditate. After he finished his breakfast he began to meditate. At first it didn’t change anything, but as the time became longer and longer, Shura noticed improvements in his mood.
Shura meditated for the entire day. When he became hungry he ate, and when he that was finished he went back to meditating. He meditated when the sun was at its highest point in the sky, and he was still meditating when the sun had long set and darkness had covered the sky.
When Shura became sleepy he stopped and went to bed.
The next morning he still felt gloomy, but it had been greatly decreased. He decided that he would meditate some more, so that was what he did.
Shura closed himself from distractions and meditated. A great peace flowed throughout his body and engulfed his mind. He felt good, well, and relaxed. No thoughts troubled him, and he felt very in control and just… great.
Many more days passed like this, this was a new period in which Shura became immersed in meditating rather than doing nothing.
One day, after opening his eyes from meditation, Shura decided to do something different. He decided that it would be better to live in a more civilized place, so he left the forest and began to walk toward any signs of civilization.
He didn’t want to go back to the capital of the Heavenkins. He didn’t want anything to do with them. He also didn’t want to go toward the Immortal’s territory, at least not now. The only place he could go to was the God’s territory.
Shura went back to the Heavenkin megalopolis and used the teleportation formation to return back to the city he had teleported from. That city wasn’t far from the city where he first arrived in the Godly Realms. That area was very near the border with the Immortals and the Gods. It would be the best place for him to travel into the God’s territory. He simply didn’t know any other place.to increase nonetheless. He was confident in his power. He wouldn’t fare poorly unless he really met the big movers and shakers of the world
Even if he came up to someone who he couldn’t fight head-on, he was confident enough to escape with his life. That was enough to know.
…
Some time passed and Shura had managed to start a business. His goal was to make a decent-sized business empire. It would be a foundation that he could use to do things in the future. It wouldn’t be a wasted endeavor at all.
