Can’t Come Back - Chapter 17
Another year went in this manner.
It was one deep night. Cain was unable to sleep, so he stumbled into the garden. He observed an incredible incident.
“Du… Aah… Duke—”
“You like it? You like it?”
“Du… Duke… Aah… I really… I like it!”
“Like this? Hmm? Do you like it when I do it this way?”
“More… even if you make this rougher… I like it… I’m going crazy because I really like it—”
Dean was struggling for air with Rayleigh, Berlia’s maidservant.
“You really like this way huh, Rayleigh? I can’t feel anything with Berlia, but with you… Damn. You can’t say anything to her, right? I want your hole more than hers.”
“Aah… haah. Yes!”
“What kind of guy would be interested in her? How could I marry a girl like that?”
Berlia was offended by the words that spilled from his tongue.
Even more astonishing was the fact that Berlia was observing them from a distance. Upon seeing all of this, Cain’s rage surged to the surface.
‘In that case, why would you—’
He nipped his lip before asking. Blood was flowing from between the creases of his lips as he bit so hard.
Berlia, unable to take it any longer, stumbled back inside the mansion. Dean and Rayleigh did not seem to be aware that Berlia and Cain had seen them. Cain saw Berlia returned to the mansion hopelessly and attempted to follow her inside.
Then he heard some extraordinary remarks coming from Dean’s lips.
“Cain felt momentarily superior because he had a crush on a female. If I had known this would occur, I would have played more and gotten married.”
“Aah… Haah!”
“I don’t even care if she’s a woman.”
It was something I had predicted roughly. Dean, who desired all Cain has, could accomplish enough. However, the shock differed depending on whether or not I had validated the reality.
Cain could no longer see the situation due to the fact that he was thinking about Berlia.
He entered the estate and proceeded to Berlia’s chamber.
‘Seeing such a senseless figure must have been painful—’
Cain’s steps halted in front of her door. The door was slightly ajar and not securely closed. I could see Berlia sitting on the bed and weeping through the holes in the door.
She had direct knowledge of her husband’s adultery. Even if that someone was her maid. Her response was normal.
Cain regarded her while clenching his hands. Her fists were trembling with rage towards Dean.
‘Why would you propose to Berlia if you didn’t love her and if you’d say such nasty things to the woman who served her?
If I had not questioned my brother about her at the time—’
Cain’s heart seemed to be shattered by the realization that it was all because he loved Berlia and that his loving Berlia had caused her distress.
Even in this dire circumstance, Cain was helpless. I was unable to even soothe her shoulder as she was sobbing.
Because she was Cain’s sister-in-law, not Berlia.

A week later, Dean departed for the nearby estate of Candell. He said that he would be taking Rayleigh. No one in the house is unaware that the duke’s connection with the outside world is not particularly positive.
However, only four individuals in the house knew why Dean took Rayleigh.
Cain and Berlia were the two parties in question.
“Have a safe journey.”
Although she seemed somewhat malnourished, Berlia’s demeanor did not change as she saw Dean go. A week ago, it was difficult for anyone to trust anybody who had seen such a spectacle.
How difficult it must have been to act as if nothing was wrong.
It had been almost three years. Her spouse had not genuinely loved her in three years. And Cain believed it was all his fault.
So Dean departed for Candell. The first night occurred after Dean’s departure from the estate. A week ago, Cain slept more soundly than he could tonight. That day, the image of Berlia sobbing by herself came to me.
Possibly because I am having difficulty being alone today for some reason. Cain inadvertently proceeded to Berlia’s chamber with this notion in mind.
‘She must have been sleeping at this time, but what use does this serve?’
His reasoning for the visit was obvious, but he was unable to approach upon arrival. It was evident that he slept it off, yet it was pitiful that he awoke carelessly pondering nonsense.
‘Let’s return.’
The moment has come to turn around and return.
“Aah—”
At that time, he heard Berlia’s voice in his ear. It sounded as though she was weeping. Uncertain, he approached the door.
“Are you crying again?”
Concerned about her safety, Cain peered inside the room via the open door. Then, Cain saw Berlia wailed as she placed her hand on her vagina.
His pupils were expanded. If not for what he saw and heard, it was evident that she was stroking her own body for comfort.
“Berlia—”
Cain entered the room and yelled her name as if possessed. Cain referred to Berlia for the first time not as his sister-in-law, but as Berlia.
“Cain?”
She seemed confused. It was sufficient that she revealed her hidden side to her husband’s brother. Cain had no idea what he was thinking as he walked into this room.
“Why are you here.?”
An embarrassed expression emerged on Berlia’s face. But Cain did not want to return in this manner.
“While passing by, I heard a groan.”
“Perhaps you heard it wrong, so go back Cain.”
Maybe she’s doing this because his brother was cold and angry towards her. Maybe doing this brings her some kind of warmth and comfort.
“I don’t believe I misunderstood. Were you not pleasing yourself? Sister-in-law, no, Berlia.”
“What—”
“Did you anticipate being stroked in that manner?”
Even if it’s just via a connection like this, can’t I fill this void? As soon as I thought of it, my lips opened and I spewed forth words.
“I will spend the night with you for the next three months… what do you say?”
A period of stillness followed his statements.
‘What on earth am I saying?’
Momentarily, Cain seemed to have returned to his senses. He not only thought gibberish, but also spat it out. Cain was going to offer her an apology.
‘…!’
However, Berlia immediately extended her hand and kissed Cain first. Cain kissed the woman. The returning motive dissolved in her kiss and vanished. Even a partnership in which bodies are mixed for pleasure was positive. If only I could own even a little of her in this form.
It was a fantastic evening. Several times while touching her tender skin, I questioned if the warmth she was exuding was genuine. It seemed surreal to have her in my arms. Cain buried his head in Berlia’s chest and repeatedly smelled her body odor.
“Ah… Hooh.”
Cain heard a nice groan echoing in his ears. That made him happy. This one information led Cain’s blood to directly go down there. He dropped his head and placed his tongue on her private area.
“Haah… there… stop—”
“Are you ashamed? Berlia.”
Berlia trembled and responded steadily whenever Cain moved his tongue. It was the first time I had ever held a lady in my arms or licked another person’s private area. However, I did not find it unclean at all. Instead, it seemed as if he was assaulting the hallowed site.
“Ah! Haah… Haah–”
And as he filled her with his own, Cain seemed to lose consciousness in her soaked body.
“Berlia, Berlia—”
Cain inserted his thing inside her and urgently yelled her name. Berlia was initially intended to be his partner. The individual with whom such a connection existed had to be him, not his elder brother. Cain substituted the confession he was unable to utter aloud with Berlia’s name.
“Keuh…”
“Haah… Hooh.”
“Aah—”
That night, Cain held Berlia in his arms after a long wait. Nonetheless, I felt a sense of emptiness. She must have believed he had just half of her mind and body.
Cain stared at Berlia, who was asleep next to him, for an extended period of time.
“If you lie next to me every night like this, if only—”
Unfortunately, he was unable to sleep with her. I had to return before daylight arrived. He arose slowly. Cain, who meticulously cleaned Berlia’s body, silently returned to his chamber.
Although he slept late the day before, Cain awoke early the next day. Today was the scheduled day for me to visit the Ribella fitting room in the morning. The garments I ordered from the dressing room were almost complete, and I was called to test them on before completion.
While preparing to go, Cain gazed out the window. A portion of the mansion’s garden was visible from Cain’s chamber. And Cain saw a golden blossom growing in the garden’s corner.
‘Undeum?’
His eyes widened in amazement. There were flowers in the corner of the yard in the middle of the garden. Golden sunshine illuminates beautiful blossoms. It was said that the plant would not blossom for at least five to ten years.
Upon seeing the golden blooms, my mind immediately went to her blonde hair.
‘Five to ten years—’
If he could have had her after five or ten years of waiting, he would have waited as long as possible. Nevertheless, she and the Undeum bloom are distinct.
Cain was well aware that waiting would not provide him access to her. Bitter, he descended to the first level and randomly encountered Berlia.
