Celestial Overlord - Chapter 101 Clash!

The Fire Lion was staring at Jiangshi, who was under its paw. It was ready to smash him into meat paste anytime. Then the Fire Lion looked at the crowd, who were dazed beyond words. The all had fear and confusion in their eyes. The Fire Lion made a grin,”Hahaha! This is it! This is how you should all look up at this Lord! Now worship me Humans!” the Fire Lion thought, as it stood there majestically.

It gazed at the dumbfounded crowd with a cheerful look. But when it saw Tian Lee, sweat started rolling down. He was frowning as he stared at it. “Why is the Lord staring like that?” it pondered.

The silent atmosphere of the arena was broken by Tian Lee’s cold voice. “I said to kill that bat! What are you doing standing there and staring at everyone?” he asked looking at the Fire Lion.

Hearing this the Fire Lion stared to tremble. It just wanted to show off, once Tian Lee makes move none of them can be in spotlight. But seeing how it will anger Tian Lee, the Fire Lion moved. Without any delay, the Fire Lion spread its black wings, as it soared high in the sky.

The Fire Lion’s mane fluttered in the wind, as it have out a beastly roar shaking the whole Jiang city. Only Jiangshi was able to feel the pressure on him, increasing by folds. Fear of death took over him. “You can’t kill me! I am a messenger!” but the word did not do anything. As he saw the gigantic yet the majestic Fire Lion charging towards him.

Crack! Crack!

The fighting stage. Started cracking the moment Fire Lion came near. The crack extended till the audience seat in the arena. Jiangshi struggled to move, but he wasn’t able to do anything. The death neared him, in a shale of giant paw.

“Noooooo!” accompanied by a fearful scream, Jiangshi body spattered all over the place into meat paste. The bats that came along with, started turning into black smoke. The Fire Lion immediately returned back to it’s human form. As it rushed towards Tian Lee, and stood near him nervously.

The crowd was totally dumfounded looking at all the things happening in front of them. They were unable to digest this things.

“Yaojing! Be prepared!” the Elder from Evil God clan said. The army of demon soldiers and the demon beast were preparing to attack. They all looked at the human soldiers. Who were trying their best to stand on their feet.

Anyone would be afraid to stand in front of such a massive army. But still some of the soldiers stood there. They know death was the only way out there. But still there were lot of people they loved were staying behind the wall.

“Captain! What should we do?” a young soldier asked the captain. This was his first posting I’m border city. He just came out of the military training. Fear was evidently visible in his eyes.

The Old captain looked at the young man and sighed. “Listen up all! This may be your last war! Those who want to run away can turn your back now! I won’t blame anyone, because only death awaits us behind the wall” he said looking at the soldiers under his command. There were thousands of them.

But the enemies were in millions. He could clearly visualize the destruction of such force. “Why haven’t you returned yet commander?” he muttered himself. The soldiers under his command all stood there without moving.

Looking at the soldiers the old captain smiled. “You all crazy bastards!” he shouted while laughing. “Let us show those filthy demons our power!” the captain yelled out. “Ooooohhh” the roar of thousands soldiers echoed inside the wall.

“Ba Jiao! Where is Di Fu?” Yaojing asked the female commander in front of him. “Lord Yaojing! Second commander has gone along with Jiangshi!” she replied. “Hahaha! That blood crazy bastard” Yaojing stated.

The army of humans were standing opposite to them. They all looked like ants in front of his massive armies. This was the day, where he is really going to stand at the top of this world. “Not a king nor an Emperor, I will be a Overlord soon” he grinned thinking about it.

“My Demon army! Slaughter your way through those human ants!” Yaojing yelled out. The soldiers and the beast roared as they started running towards the human soldiers.

“We will surely die here! But remember this, before your head rolls down, make sure you kill dozens of those bastards!” the old captain declared as the soldiers shouted in unison. “And try to hold on, we should buy time for the villagers to escape to the city!” he yelled out.

The clash of the demons and humans which did not happen for the past fifty years was going to happen now. Every soldiers from the human side were shaking, some were shaking in fear while some were shaking in excitement.

Just as the clash was about to happen. A loud voice echoed through out the whole place. “Stop it!!” both the sides were shaken, “a Demi god stage cultivator!” they all thought.

“He is here!” the Evil god clan’s Elder said with a grin. A Old man with a ferocious look, appeared in between the humans and demons, just like a black mist.

“Hahaha! You decided to appear huh! Old bastard!” Yaojing laughed staring at Jin Yao. The demon soldiers were even shaken, it was their former Demon Lord
