Celestial Overlord - Chapter 104 Peace

“Yaojing! I have decided to make peace with humans” Jin Yao said as he looked at his General. He has gone through a lot after the great war. The Bloodthirsty and intent to kill was nowhere to be found. It all changed when he lost his beloved in front of his eyes in the war.

The hatred between humans and demons started out long back before his forefathers. Both race killed each other. The cycle of hatred continued until the great war. After the war, both sides met with great casualties and loss. Since then the annual war between the humans and demons have come to an end.

But the main reason for Jin Yao change was the death of his wife in the war. He has lived hundreds of years where he even killed thousands of human soldiers by his hands. Even the loss of his demon soldiers was considered as pride by him.

“My soldiers of the Demon race! Those who are afraid of war are the only one who speaks about Ethics and we of the demon race have pride, we die for our pride!” the words which he usually utters in front of his soldiers. Now sounded like a complete idiotic lines.

“So many lives have lost in from of my eyes, but i never blinked even a single moment for that, but seeing my beloved die in front of me made me a madman; nothing hurts until it happens to you and your loved ones” Jin Yao mumbled. Hearing about this sudden peace treaty Yaojing was stunned.

“My Lord! Is something wrong? Why would we want bs peaceful with those human ants!’ Yaojing refuted back. Jin Yao expected such reaction, because it was not easy to overcome the hate just overnight.

” Tell me Yaojing! How do you see a death of a soldier under your command?” hearing Jin Yao question Yaojing frowned. “I see it as a glory and pride, he lost his life for his race” Yaojing replied. Hearing this Jin Yao sighed. “Then what will a daughter or son who is waiting for his or her father to return will think, a wife who is praying for her husband to return will think, a old mother who is waiting for her son will think, when they hear the news of death about their loved one!” Jin Yao paused.

“But my Lord! If we have to survive, we should make a minimum sacrifice, what will happen if the humans decided to attack us, what will you do then?” Yaojing replied back. He felt something has changed in the Demon Lord in front of him. As if he was turning unfit for his title.

“Hmm! You are right! May be peace won’t be enough to really stop the war, coexistence will help us to achieve what i want” hearing this Yaojing almost wanted to burst out his anger instead he rushed out of the room urgently after paying his respect.

Years passed as the Demon Lord tried talking about this to the Human Emperor. There were several objection from both the sides. As it was a never ending hate between the two races. Humans were scared of demons. While demons saw humans as enemy and some demons saw them as a prey.

The old Demon Lord retired and his son took over the throne. As the saying goes like father likes on, even he was trying to bring out peace between the humans and demons. After years and years of struggle, there was a blink of hope raised between the two race.

This caused major riot and rebel in demon country. The general along with some of the Nobel started a rebel. But he was afraid of the Old Demon Lord, even though he was weaken he still stood at the top of Demons.

Just then a help came in the form of Evil God clan’s Elder. The rebel was successful as they dethroned the Demon Lord and Yaojing ascended as the new one. It was all for a price, the price was the Princess Yoshi.

“Stop this war, this is not a request, it’s an order!” a domineering voice echoed through out the battle field. Hearing this Yaojing and the Elder of Evil God clan frowned. Someone out there was stupid enough to order them around.

“Show your face! Who do you think you are?” the Evil God clan’s Elder shouted. Yaojing was busy defending himself against the attack of Jin Yao. Even when he commanded the soldiers to hold Jin Yao back, no one stood forward.

The powerful demon Lord in the history of Blood sea continent was facing him with full wrath. Even the people under Yaojing hesitated to step in. The wrath of a Demon Lord is not a thing to be played with. “Hahaha! Once i kill you, i will be handing your precious granddaughter to the Elder!” Yaojing mockingly said.

The Evil god Clan’s Elder was seeing the two fight. He returned his gaze towards the human army. Seeing how the demons were not moving, he frowned ” Useless dogs!” he shouted. Just then he saw the human soldiers making a way. A young man and a lady were walking down.

“Mortal?” the Evil God clan’s Elder frowned looking at the young man. The lady was familiar to him, she was Hiu Jing one of the Demon Lord’s general.

“I said to stop the war!” the words uttered from the young man mouth looked like a maniac shouting in front of both the demons and humans. Even the Elder of Evil clan felt confused.

Thought struck in Evil clan’s Elder mind. He has heard from Yaojing that a Supreme being wanna be was present here. He has seen a lot of people like this in low tier worlds, “Hahaha! You must be the person right? Shielding that little b*tch Yoshi” he said in a mocking tone.

“You must be hiding your powers with some kind of treasure huh! But let me tell you young man, i am person who you can’t mess with!” the Elder spoke. “You must be quite powerful, striking fear in the hearts of this mortals, let me give you a option; handover that little b*tch or die fighting my army!”

As he said he raised a medallion towards the sky. The medallion shown brightly as the sky looked as if it teared apart as thousands of immortal soldiers came from a portal. They were all hovering in the sky, as they all looked at the mortal ants with disgust.

Looking at the scene both the demons and human soldiers swallowed their saliva in fear. This was the first time, they are seeing this many immortals out there.

“Hahaha! I know these demon dogs won’t be useful. They are the Evil Lord’s true warrior, each of them could destroy a whole continent single handedly. You must be sacred to even move right?” he shouted like a madman.

The Elder felt immense fear from this Young man, the moment he saw him. So, he used the gift, the medallion of darkness. The Evil Lord gave it to him. The medallion was capable of summoning thousands of immortal evil warriors.

“Elder, is it necessary to summon us, just to squash these mortal ants!” one of the man hovering above asked with disgust. But the atmosphere became suddenly cold. As lightning started to rumble down.

“Fight you all? Don’t make me laugh Old dog! You people are not even qualified to kneel before me ” a domineering yet a cold voice resounded sending a chill to everyone present there.

“And you shouldn’t have badmouthed about my Yoshi!”
