Deep inside the Taing beast forest, a fifteen feet large beast was sitting. It had a ferocious look and a face full of pride that only belonged to the Demigod level beast. It was hailed as the king of Taing beast forest, a look from the Fire Lion could make anyone in the mortal realm, to tremble in fear.

But the majestic beast was now like a watchdog, looking over the two female mortals. If people were to find out about this, they would die due to shock. Just what happened to the Taing beast forest king.

The winds blew as the trees sway along with it. Under the shade of a tree , Yoshi was lying unconsciously, Hiu Jing was staring at the young girl. As she reminiscence the past.

Hiu Jing was a servant of Yoshi father. She belonged to a rare fox demon race, that were able to manipulate the memories of any person. But their race was hunted for their special spiritual technique, by humans. Which led to the near destruction of her kind.

Hiu Jing raised above the masses with her hard work and she was finally recruited by the Yoshi father. Even though she was under the demon king. The other demons despised her because of her special spiritual power.

She was always lonely and never had anyone in the demon king castle. It was the time, she was ordered to be the bodyguard of the Princess. A ten year old little girl.

Hiu Jing, who was known to be cold around the people, started smiling a lot. The Ten year old girl, whom she was supposed to save. Saved her from loneliness.

But the good times nor the bad times last long. The catastrophe befall on the royal family after two years. She received an order to send away Yoshi after wiping her memories. Yoshi’s father wanted his daughter to live peacefully, he wanted to protect his daughter smile. If she were to forget about them. She would live a hatred free life.

“Big sis Hiu , where are we going?” in the darkness of the night two shadows were travelling into a secret chamber behind the blood castle. They were Hiu Jing and Yoshi. Hiu Jing didn’t reply .

Only tears were seen in her eyes. She was helpless now. As she looked towards Yoshi , whose innocent face was sad. “Its alright Big sis Hiu , I am here for you” the words , the same words she heard from the Princess when she first met . The words which made her smile and cry tears of Joy , caused Hiu Jing to cry in sadness.

She hugged Yoshi as she cried. Yoshi patted Hiu Jing head , even without knowing anything. But before Yoshi could say anything, she felt her conscious fading away.

Hiu Jing looked at the unconscious Yoshi with a sorrowful eyes. “I am sorry princess , I know you will have a hard life from now on , but please be happy”.

” I will come searching for you after the problems here are solved . You will sure meet a kind person, who will take care of you for your kind heart, princess”. “Please be safe” Hiu Jing said in a wistful tone, as tears rolled down her eyes

The transportation circle glowed as Yoshi disappeared.

In a dark alley , a teleportation circle appeared and vanished in an instant. Inside that circle a young girl was wrapped in clothes. She opened her eyes only to see a unknown surrounding , she also found her memory were fuzzy. She was unable to remember anything. She only remembered her father and mother were killed in a war. And she is an orphan.

Panic struck her. It was an unknown place. She didn’t know anyone. Fear , anxiety all shook her. As Yoshi wept in the dark alley.

“Hahaha! Did you see that women in the jade pavilion , i hope one day i will able to get her ” said a man who was walking in a group of five members. “Dream on! You think your mere money can get her ” the remaining laughed while saying.

“Hey! Stop!” one of them shouted. They all heard a girl weeping from the nearby dark alley. As they entered there, they saw a young girl around twelve year old was crying hugging her knee.

She was wearing a commoner cloth. But the thing in her hand, startled them. It was an inter special ring. It was an highly sought out artifact in Mortal realm. The inner demon of the five woke up. As they grinned evilly.

They were all local ruffians. Who has done many crimes. They looked at Yoshi, She looked like a lost child.

“Hey! Young girl , are you lost?” one of them asked. Yoshi, who was weeping looked at the direction of the voice. Five men were standing. She shrouded.

“Don’t fear us young lady, we are here to help you” one of them said. She was just an young girl without any outside knowledge, a caged bird which was thrown away suddenly. Without knowing anything Yoshi nodded her head while weeping.

If she tries to remember anything further , there is only pain in her head. She was helpless, in this unknown place. Even though , the five men were looking suspicious , she had no other option.

In the vast city, she was just an lone orphan. ” Uncle, which is this place? ” Yoshi asked in a low tone. ” This is the imperial city of Taing country young lady”. “So where is your parents ?” asked one of them.

” I don’t know. I am just a orphan ” Yoshi said in a squeaking voice. The five of them smiled . To think, they really hit a jackpot.

The five of them were delighted as they thought ” an easy prey”. Yoshi followed the five, as she entered the bustling street. Her eyes were wide open. It was an totally unknown place. She only remembers her name and the fact that she is an Orphan now.

The five men led Yoshi to an abandoned building. Yoshi suspicion rose. When she thought of running away. One of the man kicked Yoshi in her stomach. Due to pain Yoshi fell down while crying.

“Quick! Take that ring from her” one of them shouted. The ring that was only with her after she regained consciousness. She don’t know about it. But still she resisted. They further kicked making her unconscious.

“Did she die?” one of them asked. “What if she dies, no one can ask us, she us just an orphan” said the another one in the five.

As they left the unconscious Yoshi in the building and walked out. Time passed, as the pain from her body made her to wake up. She curled like a ball, as she sobbed in the abandoned building.

She was trembling in fear, she didn’t know whom to ask help for. She was very scared.she was scared of even believing some one anymore.

With the pain, she dragged her body out of the building. The people outside the street ignored Yoshi , as she looked like a begger with ragged clothes and bruises all over. Beaten up , ignored Yoshi had nothing but tears rolling down her eyes.

She sat under a tree crying. The passer by ignored her . Kids like these were common in imperial city, as some parents who are unable to look after them, abandons them. They come to the city , to work or they start begging.

Yoshi sobbed , as her eyes turned red. Two days passed , Yoshi still sat on the place without moving. Fear, anxious, pain all these kind of emotions made Yoshi further depressed.

Growl!, the empty stomach of her started making noise. She didn’t know what to do. It was evening as the food stalls in the street were opening up. The smell of food further made her hungry.Yoshi saw some of the kids like her went to the food stalls and begged for food.

Yoshi dragged her body near a food stall. She didn’t have anything. She just raised her hands as she begged in front of the stall owner for food.

The middle aged man , who saw Yoshi frowned. “Hey! Get away from here, you little begger. i just opened my shop” the middle aged man said angrily.

But on seeing Yoshi still standing there. He pushed her away. Yoshi fell down on the ground. She didn’t know what to do. She was so hungry , as she tried to take a fried meat and run away into the near by alley.

On seeing this the middle aged man got angry . ” You little thief! Stop there” as he rushed to catch Yoshi. Yoshi was unable to run away with her weak body , she was caught.

“Hmph! You little thief how dare you ruin my business” the middle aged man raised his hands to slap her. Yoshi closed her eyes as she curled herself hugging her head.

It was the time , a young voice came. “Hey! Stop” the middle aged man who was about to hit Yoshi , stopped in mid air. When he turned to see who was it.

He saw a young boy around fourteen year old , he was wearing a normal robe. But on seeing his face , the middle aged men, shrouded. He knew him. Not only him , everyone in the imperial city knew him.

“Young master Lee , this little thief disturbed my business , please don’t concern yourself” the middle aged man said in a respectful tone. Even though the young master lee was a normal mortal , he belonged to one of the four powerful family.

“I will pay for her ” Tian lee said . The middle aged man nodded as he left back to his stall. Tian lee saw a little girl covering her head with her hands. As she was trembling.

“Are you hungry ?” Tian asked Yoshi in a gentle tone. Yoshi who was seeing all the things happening was shocked to even say anything.

“Its alright, no one will hurt you” Tian lee said as he pated her head.Tears rolled down , as she cried hugging Tian .

“Shit! Where did the little girl went to” one the five thug shouted in the abandoned building . “To think , she was this rich , did you just see what’s inside the ring, those are just enough for us to live the rest for our life happily”

That young girl they robbed was like a fortune for them. But still they were alerted because such money doesn’t come out easily.Either she found that ring by accident or she is some abandoned child of some big shot.

“Find her quickly, we have to silence her or else it will be a problem” another one shouted.

“Hahaha, don’t worry she won’t be able to escape , hmph! I should have kicked her to death” a bald man in the thug gang said as he laughed.
