Celestial Overlord - Chapter 52 Demon war!

Just as he was regretting he heard the young man’s cold voice again. “Say now, who are you again?”.

The question echoed in his head. As he thought of who was he now?, son of the City Lord, the young master of Jiang city. No! Not anymore. He offended a being whom he should never offend. He caused the death of his father. The downfall of his own fate.

Just a single threat was enough to shake the whole Jiang city. He never knew things would turn out this way, he never knew a being as such as this existence would visit such a small city. Maybe this is what karma was, he did everything in the Jiang city because he was the city Lord’s son but now the only identity he had was completely destroyed.

He cried as he did not know, what to do. His father’s head was lying there lifelessly. He wanted to plead for mercy but that being’s scarlet eyes made him tremble, making him unable to talk. The others with him were in the same state.

They all looked like criminals waited to be judged. Tian Lee stared at them coldly. He dislikes two things the most, when people threaten him and when people think of harming his people. To think this group has done them both.

As they all were shivering in fear, Tian Lee cold voice echoed in the forest ” You people have done two things I hate the most, one – threatening me, two – thinking of harming the people under me”. “I might have spared you! But your souls are corrupted to the core! I can hear the agony of innocent people cries that have died under your hands!”.

Hearing this they all were stunned. Why does this young man sound like some celestial being? But the next moment a beast voice interrepted the young man. ” My Lord, please leave those ants to us, there is no need to dirty your hands” the Fire lion spoke.

Two scarlet eyes stared towards the Fire Lion. Even though it submitted to this young man, it still felt fear towards this unknown being. Tian Lee eyes returned normal, he started walking without saying anything. Seeing her young master, yoshi too started following him along with Hiu Jing.

There were only the old demon lord and the Fire Lion left behind. The Fire Lion laughed as it said “Be grateful human ants! You all are going to die under this Lord Lion”. Hearing this, Chen Len and his group literally cried. They are going to die, they are really going to die.

” Lord Lion, leave that Chen brat to me!” the old demon Lord spoke in a calm voice. He dared to ask his granddaughter to warm his bed, that was something he would never forgive.

Looking at him, the Fire Lion nodded. Chen Len was already wetting his pants, when he heard about his death sentence. But when he saw the old man with Demigod realm walking towards him. He cried for mercy “P-Please leave me!, i will turn into a new leaf!, i will never do any more evil deeds!, P-Please spare me!” he cried as he looked at the old man closing by.

But not even a glint of pity was there in his eyes, the old demon Lord grabbed one of the arms of Chen Len as he ripped it apart. Seeing how his arm was ripped apart. His eyes went wide and he screamed in agony. But before he could finish screaming, he felt another force as his other arm was ripped. He stumbled on the ground, trying to crawl. Fear! Agony! There was no word to describe his condition.

“You dare! Order your minions to cut off the young lord’s arm!” the old demon lord voice had a hint of anger as he spoke. Chen Len believed he was in hell now. The pain was increasing as blood gushed out of the open wound. He regretted! He regretted even being born as Chen Len now. But nothing could change.

He felt a hand grabbing his hair, as if it tried to pull his head apart. “P-Please….” the last words came out of his mouth as his head was ripped by the old demon lord. “This is for trying to hurt my granddaughter!” the old demon lord looked like a true devil as he stood there holding Chen Len head in his hands.

Looking at the scene the others trembled. Ruthless! Was the only word they thought. Even the Fire Lion looked at him with astonishing gaze as it thought “He is not simply called as the great demon lord for nothing”. It turned its gaze towards the remaining six and made a evil grin.

Looking at its grin, they all felt a chill in the spine. ” Do not worry, I will kill you all in a less painful way” it said as it raised its giant paw. Making all those six into a meat paste.

“Are you sure, its an immortal” a man in black cloth asked a person kneeling before him. “Yes my Lord! There is no one in mortal realm, who can enter and escape the underground prison” Yaojing replied.

Yaojing had sweat all over his face, as he looked nervous looking at the black clothed old man. That man was an immortal, a higher realm being. He was the one who helped him in ascending the throne.

But in exchange he has to capture the Yoshi girl alive and give her to him. But he has miserably failed the mission till now. That girl seems to have connection with some immortal. He dared to raid the underground prison and even helped in the Old demon lord escape.

Though he was angry, he was not able to do anything. An immortal, one who ascends immortality. He might be a strong, but against an immortal he knows he won’t amount much.

The old man in black cloth closed his eyes, he looked like he was thinking of something.

“Yaojing!” the old man spoke in a commanding voice. “Yes my lord!” Yaojing replied. “Prepare your army! We will wage war on the humans” the old man ordered him. “But my lord what about the immortal”.

“Booom” the pressure on Yaojing increased as he struggled. “You dare question me!” the old man said in a cold voice. “Forgive me, my Lord” Yaojing said while shaking in fear.

“Hmph! Listen well I have to get that girl first! We have less time!”. “And also a single guy from immortal realm cannot protect her”. “This time I will be in the lead to capture that girl” the old man spoke as he gripped his fist. The time was really running so fast he thought.

“I understood , my lord” Yaojing said as he wiped the sweat from his forehead. The immortals are really scary he thought. But he did not know that there was an existence with the girl that could even make the gods to tremble in fear.
