TITLE – DISCIPLE!

Tian Lee group made their way into the Jiang city. They all reached the Wu clan manor. It was a big manor, at the entrance, middle-aged women stood along with the maids. She had a mature and motherly aura around her.

Looking at her Tian Lee frowned. As he thought “the troublemaker is here!”

On seeing Tian Lee approaching, the middle-aged women rushed towards him ” Tian’er!! Thank god! Thank god! You were safe, I thought something bad had happened to you” she cried like a kid as she hugged Tian Lee.

Tian Lee had a wry smile on his face. Ning Wu his third aunt, the wife of his third uncle Ah Lee and Meng Lee mother. She was a very affectionate person. More like a motherly character to Tian Lee. But she was also a big troublemaker.

“Its alright aunty, I am safe,” Tian Lee said in a gentle tone. Ning Wu was the daughter of the Wu clan, she married his third uncle, thus becoming a member of the Lee clan. But still, she had another identity. She was one of the Elder of Lotus sect.

Due to her position, she always stays here in the Jiang city rather than the imperial city. So Meng Lee, as well as his third uncle, stay here, only visiting the Lee clan sometimes.

Tian Lee introduced the newcomers to his aunt. As they all paid their respect to her. It was already late at night. They all were having dinner. His third aunt and uncle did not know about Tian Lee powers as Old Lee made a strict rule in Lee Clan Manor. That the news about Tian Lee should not leave the Clan quarters.

Even though some knew about his powers, they kept quiet in fear, as they did not want to anger such a being. As they all were having dinner, a servant of the Wu clan came running.

“Lady Ning! It’s emergency! The sect has sent a notice again!” he was hurrying his way to the dinning hall shouting at the top of his lungs from the entrance. Hearing this Ning Wu showed a depressed expression.

She knows what the notice is about, if she did not take a disciple within two days she would be kicked out of the sect. She was also the head of the Ning clan. Her father and mother were not alive leaving only her as the sole heir. Though Ning clan was not a big clan.

She has been giving her all for the clan, as she neglected her duty as the Elder. But more than this, she never wanted to take in a disciple because it was too much work.

The last day was tomorrow as she has to present a disciple for registration. If she misses, she will lose her title as an Elder making the Wu clan fall further down. Just as she was thinking her eyes swept through the group in front of her and landed on Tian Lee.

Seeing her sparkly eyes, Tian Lee felt a sense of danger!. “What is she plotting now!” he thought. He knew her from a young age, she was a big troublemaker. She would always drag Tian Lee into her mess.

Feeling things will take wrong turn, Tian Lee finished his food fast. Just when he was about to move away from the place. A big shout startled him, not only Tian Lee but everyone present.

“Become my disciple Tian’er” a loud voice echoed throughout the Wu clan manor. Hearing this Tian Lee thought of escaping. But before he could, a soft hand gripped his robes from behind.

As he turned around he saw the women, who looked like a lost puppy. “Tian’er! Please help your aunt!” she said in a begging tone. But Tian Lee knows nothing good will happen if he accepts the request and also he has to meet his father.

“No! Aunt Wu I will not become your disciple” he said in a firm tone.

Hearing his rejection, tears swelled in Ning Wu eyes as she cried. “Booohooo! Tian’er hates me, he does not want to help me”, as she rolled down in the ground while crying. Seeing her mother cry even Meng Lee cried. As she said ” Big Brother ! Please don’t bully mother!”.

Seeing all this Tian Lee felt his head might explode. It was the same trick everytime, the same crocodile tears. Now even Meng Lee started using it, he thought as he sighed.

“Ok! I will accept it, but before that I want to meet my father” Tian Lee said in a irritated tone. Hearing his reply Ning Wu was elated!. “Do not worry Tian’er! Its just a registration of you being my disciple and I will take care of the formalities, you do not need to take all the test” she said as she patted Tian Lee head.

She knew Tian Lee was a normal mortal but he was the only solution for the upcoming crisis. She thought she will use her power as Elder to pass Tian Lee without any test and make him her disciple temporarily until she finds a good one.

She was beaming with smile. She was going to be kicked out because of not getting a disciple but the truth was no one wanted to be a disciple of this trouble maker. So she left with no choice but to sacrifice her dear Tian’er.

“And also Big brother and your uncle have gone to Xiantin continent for some political work, it might take them a month or so to return” she said to Tian Lee. Hearing this he sighed. Even though he can teleport to that place, he decided not to go and wait till his father comes back. Because he had created so many troubles here and the people here were important to him. He needed to protect them at all cost.

And also he knows his father is pretty strong, after all he is the one who taught Tian Lee about cultivation.

Looking at how the young Lord was going through troubles, the Fire Lion chuckled, but only to find that he was staring at it coldly. “What are you laughing at Kitty?” as he asked. Sweat rolled down on the Fire Lion forehead, as it saw beside, everyone was laughing or giggling.

“Why only me!” it thought. “Nothing my Lord” it replied in a shaking tone. Seeing that he turned away. It let a sigh of relief.
