Celestial Overlord - Chapter 88 Protective!

The Prince Gin ran away straight to the camp, where his family was staying. The camp of Shen country. A sigh of relief appeared on his face, as he looked at the Shen country flag.

Today was a totally unexpected day. He did not know why, but the Lord Vermilion spoke in a truly terrified voice. Making him tremble in fear, it was the first time in the history of Shen country to see their guardian beast tremble like that. Lord Vermilion was a legendary creature which was by fate and good fortune became the guardian beast of his family.

Just as he entered the main camp, several soldiers greeted him. He made his way to the main tent where his father and Mother were staying.

But when he reached the tent, he saw no one. His father and mother were not present. As he was about to go out and ask the soldiers. Pitch black darkness covered the whole tent. As the Prince fell unconscious.

Prince Gin woke up in a place which was completely dark. Panic struck him, as he tried to summon his guardian spirit out. Lord Vermilion a bird which has an affinity to fire. A legendary bloodline like the Phoenix.

The moment the bird came out, the place lighted up, as a huge firebird appeared with blazing flames all over its body.

The place looked like an endless void. As only darkness surrounded them, as far he could see. “Lord Vermilion! What kind of place are we in” Prince Gin asked with confusion. The last thing he remembers was entering the Shen country camp. But the next moment when he opened his eyes, he was in this strange place.

Just as he was about to walk down, the strange place. A shrill scream was heard, he knew this voice. It was one his lackey voice. But it did not stop as three other screams was heard following it. Prince Gin heart rate raised as fear crept over.

An unknown place, it looked as if it was covered by only darkness. The darkness had no end. He went towards the scream sounds he heard. It was from his four lackeys. Every one of them had the same experience. After they followed the Prince, they too went to their respective rooms. But then suddenly they all fell unconscious. And now they found themselves here.

The two girls in the group cried, hugging Prince Gin. “Calm down everyone! I will find a way out of this place” Prince Gin said as he tried to boost the morality among the group.

“Everyone of you be alert! I think this must be a trap created by some enemy country to eliminate me, even if I were to die I will save all four of you” Prince Gin said while the four who listened to this almost became vexed. But Prince Gin planned to discard this four if the situation calls for.

He wasn’t able to say. Just what kind of place was this? “To think even Lord Vermilion doesn’t know this place?” just where did we get struck, he was trying his best to find an answer.

“Everyone gather around! We will try to move out of this place!” he said gaining the four people attention.

Just as they were trying to walk around. Foot steeps echoed all over the place. Hearing this every one of them became alerted. The enemy is making a move they all thought.

Even Lord Vermilion fire was unable to light up the place. The footsteps came near them, as a nervous atmosphere surrounded the group.

“Who- who goes there show your face?” Prince Gin shouted as he did not know from which direction the enemy was coming.

The foot steps halted as it became silent. All of them were on a fighting stance, as it looked like it was a do or die situation.

Just as they were waiting for the enemy to make move. An absurd voice breaking the tense atmosphere resounded.

“Woah! That’s a Big Fire Chicken you have there!” the group heard a young man voice. As they all almost choked. To think a person would call the Legendary Vermilion bird as a fire chicken, what kind of guy was it.

“Isn’t it too dark in here!” the young man voice became silent as a finger-snapping sound echoed. The whole place lightened up. It was as if a dark night turned into a high noon.

The group looked the surrounding in awe. There was nothing other than a blue sky and a land which almost looked like it was covered by mirror showing their reflections. A totally strange place, which they have never seen before.

And at last they saw a young man, whose face was covered with black mask, with two scarlet eyes flicking.

They all were stunned including the Vermilion bird. It was a legendary being in mortal world. One of the four guardian. Even it felt fear arising in its heart looking at the young man, it was the same fear it felt in the city.

“W-Who are y-you?” one of the Prince Gin packet asked. While looking at the strange young man.

“I am just an Overprotective Big Brother!” the youth replied as his scarlet eyes flickered. Hearing this the Prince Gin’s lackeys were confused. But the Prince and the Vermilion bird trembled.

“It was not was not my imagination! Those scarlet eyes I saw for a moment in that mortal! It is him!” Prince Gin wanted to shout but words were not coming out of his mouth. As for Vermilion bird it started cowering. As it thought “This is bad! I must run!”
