Celestial Peak - Chapter 579
“The wife and daughter of the Devil Emperor Naor have been sealed in the Furnace of Chaos for no millennia and when they are next seen they are their flesh and blood and survived without food and drink. That cannot be a coincidence.” Wang Yue argued, “Maybe, there’s a way for us to revert the result of being transformed into Abyssal Demons.”
Everyone in the room has heard of the mind-boggling news. In the past eons that had passed since the appearance of the Abyssal Demons, nothing
The Furnace of Chaos, said to be crafted from the shell where the Ruler of Chaos came from holds the flame that crafts life of worlds. Its fire breathes life to those that don’t.
According to legends, the Furnace of Chaos is what many call the Sun. The perpetual ball of golden fire that emits heat and provides life without end.
Every World has a Sun and Moon, but in the cosmic road, they cannot be seen. It had been theorized that the Sun and Moon are but the reflection of what’s inside the Furnace of Chaos and the Bell of Origin.
“But my Master took the Furnace with him when he and the All-Mother left to reforge the Bloo—Master’s Natal Weapon!” argued Chang Ping, “The Furnace of Chaos cannot be accessed, and the Chaos Flames of Martial Sister Renhuo is something that we cannot hope to use lest we risk the incineration of their souls. It is a shame but the only thing we can do for the Yuan Ming and Qing is to wait for Master’s return. There’s something we need to do first and that’s to rescue Qinyang… if something ever happens to her… then we will see the destruction of the Universe in the hands of two enraged Supreme Beings.”
Chang Ping does want to imagine what would happen if both the parents decided to go crazy, “We can’t risk the Young Miss Qinyang being subjected to whatever that bastard has planned. If she dies, then, whether we like it or not, the universe will burn under the flames of the wrath of her parents.”
Everyone remaining all nodded at the same time, all but, Wang Yue, “I disagree.”
“Yue? Do you even know what you’re talking about, because no in this place only I was there when Master released a portion of his power? Even I managed to hold a speck of his qi, and I am not lying when I say that he can tear reality asunder.”
When Qinyang almost died because of the sneak attack before, Wang Ling awakened a portion of his power. Following only his instinct, Wang Ling cut open space and connected it to both Heaven and Hell, giving way for the heads of the two God Beasts to incinerate the world. With two swords, Wang Ling obliterated hundreds of thousands of Abyssal Demons and Revenants, and that’s before he could call upon the Weeping Blood.
Wang Yue shook her head, “No, that’s not what I meant. I know all too well how powerful Older Brother is… in fact, even what you saw was probably compared to what I know. In the past millennia, I have spent uncountable times searching the truth about the Emperor of Death and I know why he needs Qinyang. At first, I was unsure why he initiated the invasion just to draw out the Holy and Devil Races, but now, I understand — it’s to initiate his overall plan… to create lifelong peace and recreate his failed creations capable of annihilating the Origin— The Demons of Genesis.”

In the dark the purple darkness she floated. Her skin tingled with whatever softness held her up. Qinyang’s silver hair danced, and then, sweet nectar slipped past her lips and entered her mouth.
The boundless sweetness extended throughout her body, its hold becoming tighter yet never constricting, [This feels natural… even more, when Father’s qi healed me… or when I was given the Blood Source… this feels… exquisite.]
In the purple haze, she felt power like she did before. She was overflowing, and then, ‘N-no.’
“What was that?” A soft whisper echoed in her ears — a man’s.
‘I don’t want to disappear.’
“He-hello? Is anyone there?” This time, she heard a woman’s voice.
‘It hurts… please… make it stop….’
Another one echoed, this time, a child. This time, it was louder than it ever did before. The voice, it was screaming, in pain, calling her for help.
Qinyang could hear it reverberating in her ears, calling, screaming to her. She looked around, but no matter how long, she could not see anyone, “Where are you!?”
Finally, she called out, and at first, there was silence for a moment. The purple haze then ebbed due north, collecting to a single point. The haze released Qinyang from her state of ecstasy and returned to her normal state, “N-no!”
She screamed and ran after the purple haze. Quickly, her feet carried her far, yet never far enough. She halted her pursuit only when she noticed that something had gone wrong.
The voices returned, but now, they didn’t feel distant. Instead, were approached… very quickly. Over the horizon, the purple haze emerged, thicker than before. Qinyang should have been overjoyed, yet she was nothing short of horrified because with it came another.
It was another tide, no, that was wrong. It was more of a tsunami following the purple haze, a tsunami made of blood, filled with mangled bodies of the undead, all screaming, for help and salvation. Qinyang turned her back, she wanted to get away.
But the wave was far too quick and then, it reached her, and swallowed her!
BOOM!
The wave did not care who or what she was, it devoured her whole. The hands of the dead grabbed hold of her, not allowing her to leave, they wished to be saved and be freed from their wretched existence, and amidst their despair, they unknowingly began dragging their only savior into the depths of despair.
[I-I can’t breathe… he-help… Mother… Father….] Qinyang’s body was invaded by the murky blood, and just as death was about to drag her into the depths, a hand took hold of hers and dragged her back up!
“LEAVE HER!” A loud voice echoed and pulled her back up and blasted the tsunami of blood into nothing.
Coughing up blood, Qinyang had trouble looking at who it was who saved her. Slowly, the light gave way for her sight, “Fa-father?”
‘Wang Ling’ looked at Qinyang puzzled and then, he began to laugh, “Haha, we do look that much alike, huh. But, no, I’m not Wang Ling… I’m you’re brother — Aether.”
The Emperor of Death introduced himself.
