Celestial Star Sect On Earth - Chapter 1 A Young Man
Covering one of the largest and most luxurious skyscrapers in the world, a young man gazed at all the horizon under his watchful eye. Dressed in a long white robe, undulating over the cold wind of altitude, he seemed not to care about the clouds that prevented his sight. His posture exuded an air of wisdom and a touch of solitude, making a slight impression of being in harmony with the place and at the same time not belonging to this world.
“It’s been more than a hundred years since we’ve been on this planet, even though they have no energy at all, and with their short lives, they’ve been able to build such grandiose things.” He sighed. “Anyway, they could not take away my boredom.”
“A hundred years is nothing for those who have lived thousands, isn’t it?” A male voice behind him said. “I think it’s amazing what they managed to achieve without cultivation. ”
A man sat in a red armchair, he was dressed exactly like the young man and held a book in his hands. He had long red hair that shone in the sunlight and pure golden eyes. Without even looking up from the book he continued.
“Look, we never saw anything like it in any other world. Such a huge population in just a tiny piece of land, a mere mortal can live up to one hundred years, and those strange projectile weapons that could kill a careless cultivator… I just wanted to know what God is responsible for such a creation, because it is clearly a failed word, a mistake, without any kind of natural energy.”
The younger man turned to face the other man, making evident a large black star in his white robe.
“True, but even if what they call ‘technology’ is more advanced than what we know, it’s nothing compared to what true power could achieve.” said him while looking while giving another sigh, seeming dejected with something. “Even so, I want to figure out why my sister said that my destiny lays in here”.
“We can’t know the reasons behind the Oracle’s actions, just accept it” answered the red-haired man.
After the young man nodded, a strange silence installed between those two for a long time.
“And I wonder… what would this world have created if they had natural energy?” murmured to himself while reading.
“That’s it!” jumped the black-haired man with a huge smile in his face. “That’s what I’m gonna do. Yi Seung, come with me”.
Without waiting for an answer, he disappeared in thin air as if he had never been there. The other man was a bit surprised by this but said nothing and disappeared as well, the book he was holding fell on the floor with a “pluck” and in the cover was written: The inventions that changed the world.
*********************************************************
Inside a huge cavern, thousands of kilometers underneath the earth, magma was flowing like a river. Diamonds and other precious minerals were forming left and right in the naked eyes, any human would be spitting blood if they ever saw this scene. In the center, a strange star-shaped formation was emitting a cold white energy.
Two figures materialized above the hot magma, they floated in the air and were clearly unaffected by the temperature and pressure in the ambient. Both wore a white garment with a black star in the middle, no accessories nor weapons could be seen in their body. The man in the right had short black hair and shiny blue eyes that fits perfectly with his bony nose and small lips, creating an impression long lost in this world, of a nobleman. He then walked ahead directly in front of the formation without batting an eye to the rich resources around.
Alarmed, Yi Seoung asked.
“Are you really intending to do what I’m thinking, master? You know you’ll lose most of you’re power after that, don’t you?”
“Yes, I know however, I have you to protect me, my friend.” answered the man turning around to look in the eyes of his comrade showing a bright smile and a face full of confidence. “Even though, there aren’t that many people who can hurt you in this universe. And I’m quite sure that my fate will change here.”
Yi Seoung laughed and assured him.
“I’ll protect you as you did to me in the past.” said while bowing in respect.
“Thanks, now come, let’s begin.”
He walked in front of the formation and with a wave of his hand, the cold energy dissipated, making easier to look into it, the formation has clearly broken parts in its design. Withing the star-like formation a withered black seed stood, just like an old fossil.
[Just like I thought, it’s broken and the Yggdrasil’s seed has withered. This world will die at most in a thousand years, I can’t believe they made this far]
Then, he stepped in the middle of the formation, took the seed in his hands with the utmost care possible. The seed was pitch black like a rock, an obsidian, its surface was rough yet soft, giving an odd sensation when touched. After that, seated in a lotus position while holding the seed in his hands, he closed his eyes and started to channel all his power into the world.
The cave trembled, huge black waves were coming out of his body just to be inserted in the formation and the seed. A vortex was sucking dry his power, trying to replenish the energy that this world had lost.
In a second, the black seed turned green, the broken parts of the formation were fixed. Blood started gushing out from his nose, his face was turning pale every minute. That was the backlash from taking away the world!
Yi Seoung was getting more and more nervous, cold sweat was dripping from his neck.
After what seemed a long time, a small bud emerged from the green seed. The bud was golden yellow in color, it was just as small as a finger, however, it exuberated an incredible aura as though it contained the entire universe. The vortex stopped, the formation had been repaired, it turned black and emitted a gold aura quite similar to the bud. Felling a bit dizzy, he planted the bud right in the middle of the formation, getting up he walked out slowly.
“I have a mission to you my friend.” Said the young man with a smile, blood turning his teeth red. ” Go to the world, spread low-grade cultivation technics. You can use the thing they call ‘internet’ for that, it will be useful. If you want, you can build a Sect or grow some disciples. Just make sure to keep a look in the outside, as I’ll be recovering here for some time.”
Without waiting for an answer, the young man seated in a lotus position and began to meditate. In his injured body, he felt something new. It appeared as if thousands of ants were crawling in his skin. He knew what this meant, the ants weren’t his hallucinations as he’d heard this description before. It signifies his connection with every and each form of life in his new “found” world, with but a thought he could control everything. Most World-Gods he met before wouldn’t do this kind of stuff, as it would bring no good to the planet itself.
“Yes Angareus, I’ll do everything in my hands to protect you!” said Yi Seoung while saluting in respect, worry covering his eyes. He then disappeared with no trace starting his mission as fast as he could. (A/N: this is f***king fast as he is a God)
