Ceo In A Fantasy World - 207 Chapter 207
The next morning, Caesar awoke to a headache and the smell of fragrant food. The steam entered into his nostrils as he slowly fluttered his eyelids open. The last thing he had remembered was drinking some ale on a rooftop. Thus, he was somewhat confused.
He raised his upper body and massaged his forehead whilst surveying his current surroundings. He was residing in his very own bed with the sheets clearly kicked off and crinkled. No one else was present. However, Caesar could still feel the warmth on the other side of the bed.
Caesar stared at the empty bed for a few moments before glancing forward, where a table full of breakfast greeted him. It was full of nutritional food such as toast, sausage, salad, and even some light yogurt.
The sound of water splashing could be heard from the bathroom, and a small smile crept onto Caesar’s lips. He pushed the covers aside and sat at the table, indulging in the food that he presumed Ahri had prepared for him.
He hadn’t eaten anything yesterday, and it has been around a week or so since he last ingested blood. Thus, his stomach seemed to cry in delight as he ate the scrumptious meal. This lasted for a few minutes until finally, the bathroom door opened.
Ahri exited the restroom with her damp violet hair resting on her shoulders. Droplets of water fell from the ends of her hair as she walked to the closet. A white towel barely covered her curvaceous figure as she walked, her hips practically popping out with each stride.
She glanced at Caesar as she walked by, smiling faintly. Her yellow eyes gleamed mischievously as she put on a sky-blue dress and a set of heels. She then put on her earrings and an elegant necklace that she had acquired from a store.
Caesar knew that she was either up to something, or she had done something naughty by the look in her eyes. As such, he could only smile wryly as he stood up from the bed, “judging from that look, you’ve done something bad…” he commented.
Ahri glanced at him, “you’re leaving in two days” she said straightforwardly, “thus, I have decided to write an apology letter to the knights and those in your business… you’ll be taking two days off so that you can spend some time with your family.”
As she spoke to here, her slight smile transformed into a beaming smile as Elizabeth walked in through the bathroom door. Her Raven black hair was brushed exquisitely, further accentuating her beauty mark below her lower lip.
She adorned a knee-length, crimson dress that matched her ruby-red eyes. A small bracelet was wrapped around her wrist, and she smiled confidently in Caesar’s direction. “Look, daddy, I can dress mature just like mommy!”
Caesar scrutinized the confident Elizabeth with a frown; at the very least, she wasn’t wearing any makeup. In his past life, many women started to put plastic on their face and care about their appearance from a young age. However, in his personal opinion, a woman was most beautiful when she looked natural. Fortunately, Ahri possessed unparalleled beauty without using makeup.
He could sigh in resignation as he too dressed up. It wasn’t that big of a deal if he was absent from his companies. He had already set the foundation; now it was Veronica’s and his colleagues’ job to build it up.
Besides, he could potentially score a great trading partner in Limbo kingdom. The underground business, requiem has previously shown their interest in him so that Caesar would spark up a few meetings.
Thinking to here, he finally dressed and hooked both Ahri’s and Elizabeth’s arms. Since they were all dressed nicely, it was only natural for them to go out to dinner, like an average family. Although their family was unique and would face many hurdles down the road, it was okay to relax every now and then.
As such, Caesar prepared a fancy carriage rimmed with bright gold. The cushions inside were a deep red and the curtains covering the small window were a shade of black. On the outside, a few golden lions were engraved onto the carriage, explicating that the carriage belongs to a member of the royal family.
Caesar sat on one side of the carriage while both Elizabeth and Ahri sat on the other. Without much words exchanged, the carriage driver brought them to a restaurant at the northern side of Rahvin kingdom, the most fantastic place to eat in the area.
Only the noblest and affluent families were allowed in this restaurant; however, even then, those who were nearby bowed in respect and awe. Caesar adorned a fancy single breasted suit with a blue undershirt, black blazer, grey vest, black pants, and a set of elegant, pointed shoes.
His slender hands were left bare, and his appearance awed the nearby women. In contrast, Ahri’s very natural and beautiful body made the men nearly drool. Of course, Elizabeth’s cute appearance shocked a few nearby citizens as well.
The group of three were practically sparkling as they entered the furbished restaurant. All three of them possessed much better than average appearances and were treated as such. The waiter that attended to them was an experienced middle-aged man.
He kept his head down most of the time and stared into Caesar’s eyes every time he asked questions. He was the peak of respect and Caesars couldn’t find one thing to complain about; the restaurant was superb.
The lights were dimmed, and even though it was still relatively early, the sun didn’t bother anyone in the establishment. They were able to order a few excellent meals without a hassle and peacefully enjoy them.
This continued for another quarter of an hour until they finally finished their respective meals. This was the first time they had ever gone out to eat as a family; as such, they were in a rather good mood.
Caesar paid the bill and gave the waiter a handsome tip before standing up, “well, let’s return to the palace and relax,” he said, “I’ll be leaving in two days, so I should spend some time with my father as well.”
