In the end, without a choice, whether it be Evren or Glynn, they could only give up on how tightlipped Azarel was. It comes to the point that even Glynn has to stop glaring at her boss

Whatever dirt Azarel has on them, with his personality, it would surely be enough to ruin their lives and Glynn would not risk it

“Anyway, let’s finish eating and deal with this treasonous bastard right this instance” Azarel said. Although Glynn performed quite well while he was absent, at the end of the day, Azarel is still the CEO that has much better skills than his secretary. The result of Glynn’s work was not as good as it would be if Azarel was the one that did it

To deal with the backlogs from his absence, Azarel do not have time to play with a treasonous bastard

The artist that betrayed Azarel is named Joey Mills. When he was summoned by the CEO, he was both afraid and expectant. He is a person that betrayed his current company and even sell it out to the enemy. He naturally has something to be afraid of since he committed a crime

As for why he was expectant, let’s just say that with Azarel’s promiscuous personality and reputation, he looks ‘easy’. It was no news that in the entertainment industry, there are many celebrities that slept their way to the top

Joey tried to do the same thing but unfortunately, he failed and that hurt his pride, resulting in the current situation wherein he betrayed Azarel. He did not know that if not for the agreement between Azarel and his father, Joey might have succeeded in seducing Azarel and sleeping with him

As for whether he would get the benefits from sleeping with the boss or not, that is another matter to discuss

When Joey arrived at the office of the CEO, he almost cannot see anything as all the lights were turned off, making the surroundings quite dim

This resulted in him gulping a mouthful of saliva from nervouness. Wondering why the place was like this

“Hello?” Joey tried to call for any person that might possibly be in the office but he failed to get any answer

Instead, what happened was the television on the side of the office, quite near to Azarel’s chair and table automatically turned on and it started playing a video

In the video, Azarel can be seen sitting in his chair. He was talking with a person very familiar to Joey as that person is none other than himself

The clothes he was wearing that day was a buttoned shirt that he deliberately left a few buttons undone in hopes to seduce the boss, sleep with him, and then harvest the benefits right after!

At first, the two seems to be discussing professionally about work when the Joey in the video enacted the plan in his mind

“I’m sorry, but is the air conditioner working fine? It feels kinda of hot in here” Joey said as he holds his collar acting as if he was fixing it though he was trying to expose more of his chest

Azarel raised his brows at that but in the end, he took the remote for the air conditioner to further lower the temperature. His eyes were seemingly amused. He has the attitude of trying to see just what the artist is up to

“Sigh.. why does it still feels so hot” Joey said as he spreads his legs as if he was inviting Azarel to dig in and eat

The more Joey watch, the more scared he becomes as he knew what happened next. At first, his seduction was still a bit subtle but after seeing that the boss was watching him intently, he became bolder and bolder to the point that whoever watch the video, they would all know what Joey was trying to do

If this video was to be spread in public no doubt that his career would be completely ruined. How can he not be afraid then?

While Joey watched in horror, a hand suddenly patted him in the shoulder causing the man to flinched strongly

“Tsk, tsk, tsk, to try and seduce a married man. You sure have some guts” the owner of that hand said and when Joey turned to look at who it was, he saw a familiar man

Everyone knows who the CEO and owner of Az Entertainment are. If they try to investigate him, one of the basic pieces of information they would find out was his husband – Evren Frazer

As such, Evren’s face is naturally not unfamiliar to Joey as he has seen him in the photos already. However, he also knows that Evren is just a nobody and even a former stripper at that. Despite what it said on the news, there is no way at Azarel really likes such a person, right

After all, Azarel is a man that loves to sleep around. He was not the type of person to stick and stay with only a single person

“Y-you.. what are you d-doing here?” Joey asks while stuttering, showing how nervous he was

As a response, Evren merely waved the hem of his jacket. Since he is working as Azarel’s secretary now, he wore a formal corporate suit but one that is stylish since it also came from Azarel’s closet

The air around Evren was that of confidence and arrogance as he sat on the chair of the CEO

“As Azarel’s husband, and the first lad–, no, as the First Gentleman of the Company, is there even a place here that I cannot enter, especially the office of my husband?” Evren asks back while putting emphasis on the husband part

“N-no, b-but” The artist does not know how to respond to that. He wants to ask about the video of him trying to seduce Azarel but at the same time, he was also afraid of raising the topic due to how sensitive it was

“No need to speak, I know what is going in that pretty little head of yours. As the husband of a handsome, sexy, hot, charismatic, rich, and an extremely powerful man, how could I not know that there would be many vixens that would try to seduce him? Psh, do not foolishly that you were the first artist to seduce him” Evren said coldly while sitting comfortably at the chair

He even placed one foot into his thigh while his hands rested on the arm rest

“Since your stutter sounds annoying, I will tell you what your two choices are and what would happen if you choose them. The first one is in exchange for this video not being released anywhere, you will listen to everything that I say. Do I need to elaborate on that? Nah, as an actor, you have probably already seen many movies with this kind of cliche part. And yeah, you are correct, the other choice is that you do not listen to me and that video will be released with an addition of actions from the company’s legal department about your sexual harassment to your boss” Evren said and Joey’s lips parted

He changed sides and betrayed Azarel because he thought that with his failed seduction, the boss will cut his career path and his pride wasl also hurt

He did not expect that his actions were actually filmed not by ‘Azarel’ but by his husband. Now that he thinks of it, to be Azarel’s husband, how could Evren be a simple person? No, with how he is acting now, this man might be a real demon inside

Joey opened his mouth to say something but what should he say in this kind of situation? Does he need to kneel down and beg for forgiveness or something

“Oh please, stop acting dumb. We all know where this is going, with the fear of losing your career blah blah blah, you will accept it even if you become a slave. Let’s cut to the chase shall we?”

The impatience in Evren’s voice can be clearly felt and Joey gulped a bit before nodding his head. “W-what should I d-do?”

“Now, we are talking” Evren said with a nod. “It’s simple, you will continue selling company information but this time, only the ones that I want you to sell” he continued

Since the situation already reached this point, Joey can only nod his head repeatedly. “Y-yes, yes, I will do that” he agreed easily

Fuck the company that he betrayed Az Entertainment for. His life and career was more important! He could not ruin his career nor does he want to be thrown in jail

“That’s the first thing and here is the second one” Evren said with a chuckle before throwing a folder at Joey that the man hastily caught with his hands

When Joey turned to look at the folder’s contents, it was a contract and the more he read, the more he thinks that it was ridiculous!
