Chasing After My Wife - Chapter 536
“You don’t have proper plan for this honeymoon, right?” Jillyanna asked him while hugging his waist and leaning her head on his chest.
“Aren’t we suppose to be lovemaking in a honeymoon?”
“Who says that?”
“Isn’t honeymoon created for a husband and wife to make a baby?”
“But we already have children.” Jillyanna responded with a frown.
“Then, we’ll just have a lovemaking with no intention of creating a baby.”
Jillyanna raised her head and looked at him. “Hubby, do you only have that in mind?”
“Hn. I only want to spend my time loving you, cuddling you to sleep when you’re tired, eat with you to have energy and make love to you again. That’s the cycle I have in mind.”
“I don’t think I would be happy with that. I would be completely exhausted if we do that.”
“That’s fine. We can also take a rest.”
“No way. Let’s not do what you have in mind.”
“What’s your suggestion?”
“I can let you do me at night. No daytime.”
“So, I can do it the whole night?”
“Whole night? Are you a beast?”
“I will be if we won’t reach a consensus.”
“You’re going to kill me.”
“No, I won’t. How about five rounds? I can let you rest in between.”
“No, that won’t do. Three would be fine.”
“Three? That’s too little. I can do five.”
“I can’t do five. Did you forget that I had a surgery not long ago?”
“I’ll concede to four rounds.”
“Why can’t we do three? I won’t have time to sleep if we’ll do it four times at night.”
“Then, you’ll sleep in the morning.”
“Won’t we go somewhere during the day? I really want to travel and explore the place.”
“Fine. I’ll agree to three.” Travis decided and kissed the top of her head. “I guess your stamina and strength won’t make you last longer than I thought. I’m quite worried for the children now.”
“Hey! You told me that you won’t take back your words.” Jillyanna exclaimed and pinched the side of his waist.
“Ouch! I won’t. I just said I’m worried. I won’t take back my words.”
“You better keep your words. I will shred you to pieces if you break your promise.”
“I won’t. I won’t. I promise. I don’t want to see you sad.”
Jillyanna looked at him before shifting her gaze to his chin. She kissed his chin and smiled. “I love you so much.”
“You’ll just love me when I concede to your demands.”
“Of course. My demands would always benefit the both of us. You just won’t listen to me and you always worry about me.”
“If I won’t worry about you then, who should I be worried about?”
“The children.”
“I worry for the children’s welfare as well which was why I personally took care of them when you were at the hospital and when you were still recuperating.” Jillyanna didn’t say anything and just hugged him even tighter. “Did I say anything wrong?”
“Nope. I just realize that you’ve sacrificed a lot for me and for the children. I haven’t been doing anything to help you.”
“Staying alive, staying beside me, waiting for me to come home, taking care of the children; these things are more than enough to make me happy. You don’t have to think much. But, I’d be happy if you can give me a reward at night.”
“Tsk! I’ll think about it.” Jillyanna responded and closed her eyes. “Let’s go to sleep. I need to have energy to keep up with you tomorrow.”
“Goodnight, my love.” Travis kissed the top of her head again and eventually closed his eyes to sleep. They were in a honeymoon yet they were arguing what to do and how many times to do it. It was rather funny.
Meanwhile, Shein and Tristan were almost done with their work. There were few people left and Calhoun told his men to wrap up everything before eight tomorrow morning. Those that weren’t captured will be dealt with after few days. The most important thing was to subdue their forces and to stop them from targeting Travis and his family.
Even so, they couldn’t have them come back to their houses yet. They needed to make sure that no one’s left and that they will be safe after coming out. They still have several days before Travis and Jillyanna comes back. It’s enough time to deal this whole matter.
After three hours, Shein and Tristan were allowed to pull out from the mission. Shein could finally take a rest but Tristan still needed to go to the military camp to help Hibiki. He needed to take him home. His relationship with Celestine was a little complicated but it was no longer his concern. He just needed to bring him out.
When he arrived at the military compound with the soldiers who were tasked to pick him up, Hawk was also there, waiting for him to arrive.
“This will be a little difficult to handle. Our Major General will be the one who will do the interrogation and you will be included.”
“I understand. I am considered accomplice after all.”
“Don’t worry, I’ll help you out since you’ve helped us in this mission. If I guess it correctly, you will be fine and Major General must have something to offer as well.”
“I hope that’s the case.” Hawk dismissed the other soldiers and brought Tristan personally to Calhoun.
Tristan knew that his crime was just the fact that he was an accomplice and that he hacked several networks which eventually helped the group expand their territory and power. People may think that it wasn’t a big crime but if you really think about it, he killed people indirectly.
That night, the military compound was busy and lively. Officers came in and out. Prisoners were taken to different detention center one after another. Doctors were busy tending to the injured and wounded soldiers. So far, it was the liveliest time of the year for their team.
They thought that the mission was coming to an end. Nobody knew that several people had infiltrated the hotel where the Madrigals and the Madrids were staying.
