Chasing After My Wife - Chapter 551
Valkyrie and Brown had been staying with Dr. Anderson for a week now. He fulfilled his promise to the doctor that he will be coming home to spend time with him and perhaps, have dinner as well. Since Valkyrie still needed to recuperate, they didn’t leave their father so soon. They stayed to spend more time with him.
Sometimes, they would discuss about some medical matters and Brown informed him of the research in Jillyanna’s hands. Since Jillyanna didn’t want to sell the research, they could only wait for Jenny to get into college and absorb her to do research with him in Military Hospital. They don’t just deal with medical assistance but they also have a research team. Jenny would fit in their field with the research of Jillyanna’s mother.
Dr. Anderson was planning to talk to the little girl during the event tonight and he was already prepared. All he needed to do was to wait for the two men to wake up. Since Brown arrived home, he and Valkyrie had been getting up late. There’s no need to say what they were doing because he knew exactly what they’ve been to. He actually surprised to know that his son still got aplenty of stamina even after the painful operation he had with his leg.
Well, it was his left leg that got injured, not his third leg. And besides, there’s no need to exert that much of an effort since Brown can ride him and take all of him. Easy-peasy.
Jillyanna’s family arrived after lunch but Cielo and Lucian weren’t able to come. Cielo just gave birth and Lucian was worried for her to travel and besides, it wasn’t good to travel with a newborn baby. They all understood and Cielo just asked her mother to bring her and Lucian’s gift with them.
Jade was looking to the inviting beach not far from her before looking at her mother who was busy talking to the guests and at the same time, arranging the flowers on the table that Jade made. “Do you want to take a swim?” Top asked her since he noticed that the young lady had been looking at the beach and the other swimming guests. “Go and tell your mother. I can keep an eye on you if she agrees.”
“Okay. I’ll give it a try.” Jade put down the blue roses on the table and walked towards her mother. “Mommy?”
“Yes, darling?”
“Can I take a swim? Uncle Top can look after me while swimming. I won’t go far as well. I won’t take more than an hour.”
“Did your father gave you a sunscreen lotion?”
“Hn. He did.”
“Go ahead. Make sure not to stay far away.” Jade grinned and ran away from her mother. She left as soon as she gained agreement. Top was watching her at the beach, and one of the other guards, who saw her swimming, left to get a towel for her. The safety of the young lady doesn’t just cover the external forces but they needed to make sure that she won’t get sick as well.
Travis was overprotective and even a mosquito bite will make him paranoid. He was traumatized and scared. They were his life and if something happens to them, it was like his life was being shorten.
Jade was happily playing with the water and her hearty laughter attracted the other guests. They were so envious of the smart and sensible daughter that Travis got. She wasn’t spoiled and she knew how to understand other people as well. She was the ideal daughter that couples wanted to have. Too bad, she’s unique – one and only in the world; and no one else can have her.
Sticking to her promise she gave her mother, she asked Top of the time she had been spending in the water. She couldn’t spend too much time under the sun so, she got out of the water after forty-five minutes. Top wrapped her with the towel and carried her back to the hotel room where Travis was singing his son to sleep.
“You took a dip?” Travis whispered when he saw his daughter dripping wet and happy.
“Mommy agreed.”
“I see. Come here and get your clothes change. I will be scolded if you catch a cold.” Top put her down on the floor and he went to his own room to change his suit as well.
Jade walked inside, droplet of water fell, leaving traces of her as she walked towards the bathroom. “Daddy, why are you afraid of Mommy? I don’t think she’s scary.”
“I am not afraid of her. I am worried for her. When she gets angry, that’s because she’s worried and stressed over something. And we both know how fragile your mother is. All I want is to make sure that she’s fine and happy; stress and worry fee.”
“I see. I thought you are afraid of her.” Jade mumbled with a cheeky grin. Travis placed her clothes inside the drawer located in the corner of the shower room and left so that she can take a shower with fresh water. Most family, it was the wife who’s tasked to take care of the children. In their case, if he didn’t need to work, he would rather stay at home and take care of the family. He didn’t want to stress his wife.
While he was thinking of some matters seriously, Jillyanna suddenly thought of something. It’s been a while since she posted on her social media account. From goddess_YNA, she had changed it to I_amHisWife. It was to pair up with the account of Travis which was named as I_amHerHusband. She didn’t post anything about songs anymore but she posted random things in the past.
“My camera is getting rusty. I should start doing something to share to my followers.” She mumbled while making a design on the make-shift stage that they made.
“Didn’t you decide to make some vlogs? Why not do that again? You can upload some pictures or videos at least once a week. You have so many fans who wanted to see how you’re doing.” Riley responded.
“How about we take a picture now and upload it. We can upload it together.” Jillyanna suggested.
“I don’t mind doing so.” Riley took out her phone and waved it in front of her sister. They still got a lot of time before the actual time of the event so they can still take some break.
The two of them took turns in taking pictures and later on, Jackie and Jenny joined them. There were some guests who took pictures of them as well. Not far from them, Jillyanna saw someone who seemed to be vomiting. She wanted to help but someone else came so she decided not to pursue it. However, an idea popped in her head which made her smile happily.
‘I should surprise my husband with a baby.’ She thought to herself and laughed along with the other guests, even though she was laughing over something else.
