Adam rushed to Chris’ room as he had a crashing sound inside.

‘Chris what’s wrong?’ Adam asked rushing in.

‘Why did you do that?’ Chris shouted Adam entered the room.

‘What did I do?’ Adam asked unable to understand what Chris was talking about. He looked around the place and found that Chris had broken all the breakable things present in his room. He looked at his brother wearing a distraught expression.

‘Stepping in and saving me. Giving up your dream for me, are you acting in some reality show?’ he asked glaring at him furiously.

He was suspicious of Adam stepping in to take the business at first but he thought it was because of their dad. He couldn’t even believe the fact that Adam was giving it up for him.

‘Chris, listen to me. I am not doing this for you’ Adam lied trying to console Chris, who was throwing everything he could find nearby on the floor.

‘Yeah right..! Keep fooling me. I heard you talking to dad’ Chris replied as he sat on his bed tired from throwing a tantrum.

‘Are you done?’ Adam asked as he carefully made his way to Chris without getting pricked by the pieces scattered all around the room.

‘Yeah..! I am kinda tired’ Chris answered giving up.

‘Now, listen to me! I did this for you, so what? You are my brother and I would do anything for you. I am not taking it over or anything, ok? Only till you are matured enough to handle the business. For now, I am just stepping in’ Adam explained looking at Chris.

‘You are giving up your dream, dumb head!’ Chris said throwing him a disappointed look.

‘No, I am not! Dad, bought me a cyber security company which I am going to build through my hard work and that is awesome compared to hundreds of other jobs coming at me’ Adam said reassuring Chris that everything was alright.

‘Really..? You are doing this happily?’ Chris asked still feeling bad.

‘Yeah..! And don’t think I’ll cover up for you anymore. I have my company now so I will be busy. So you have no other go but to take care of the other businesses. Till you are ready I will do that for you’ Adam said looking at his brother.

‘Ok, if you say so’ Chris replied sighing.

‘Stop with the pouting’ Adam said pushing his brother slightly trying to cheer him up.

‘Fine, fine..! But remember one day I will take over and you can focus only on your dream company’ Chris promised smiling at him.

‘You got a deal bro’ Adam said pulling Chris into a hug.

A few weeks later,

‘Chris? Chris..!’ Adam yelled rushing up to Chris’ room.

‘Adam, stop shouting! I am right here’ Chris answered standing behind him.

‘You know what? I just met your future sister-in-law’ Adam spoke out excited.

‘You what..?’

‘I met your future sister-in-law’ Adam repeated smiling widely.

‘Yeah, I heard the first time but I was hoping you would change it if I ask again’ Chris said looking at his brother in disbelief.

‘I left the company and as I was about to enter the car, there she was thrashing, someone on the road’ Adam said telling Chris what happened that afternoon.

‘She was hitting someone?’ Chris asked really hoping he misheard it this time.

‘Yeah’ Adam nodded.

‘You are in love with some lady goon?’ Chris asked stressing out his words so that Adam could hear himself.

‘No, apparently that guy was about to get away after hitting someone and there she was raising her voice for the society’ Adam clarified unable to hold back a smile.

‘Oh god..! You literally made fighting sound dumb’ Chris commented looking at his brother who was smitten by the girl he was talking about.

‘Apparently she was there for an interview we were holding in the company. So I approached her and…’ Adam said explaining the incident.

‘I know I know. You offered her the job’ Chris said interrupting him.

‘No! I would never do that. I hire only after knowing if they are capable’ Adam replied disagreeing.

‘Then..?’

‘I proposed her’ he replied right away.

‘You did what?’ Chris asked his mouth wide open in shock.

‘Yeah..!’

‘And what did she say?’ Chris asked totally sure that his brother has lost it.

‘She walked away with a disgusted face’ Adam replied as they entered his room.

‘So what are you planning to do now bro?’ he asked as they sat down on the couch in Adam’s room.

‘I already had people check on her. Her name is Evelyn Reynolds. She was there at Cyber Surveillance to apply as a Penetration Tester. She lived thirty minutes away from our house and forty five minutes away from the company. Just a few weeks, I will make her fall for me’ Adam answered away in one breath.

‘Wow, dad will be proud of you’ Chris teased sarcastically.

‘Adam who proposes a girl they just met? What is wrong with you?’ Chris asked after a moment of silence.

‘You will understand when you fall in love’ Adam said switching on the TV.

‘Yeah right..! I don’t believe in this love at first sight crap! I am not sure whether I will fall in love or not’ Chris disagreed with his brother who wasn’t ready to listen to Chris at all. He was madly enchanted by his Eve.

After two years;

‘Mr. Finch, how would like to commemorate your success on Cyber Surveillance?’ a reporter asked as Adam stood on the podium surrounded by reporters who were firing away questions at him about his company.

‘Two years ago, we were nothing, just a company waiting to be unveiled of its potential. But now, it has purely grown to be a trusted company today by many other companies and that’s only because of the hard work put in by the employees. It’s them who made it happen. And of course my family was supportive as well and it was my wife, Evelyn, who stood by me at all times and trusted me even when I couldn’t’ he answered in a calm tone smiling at the reporters who were flashing their cameras capturing each moment of his speech.

‘Mr. Finch, your other businesses have bloomed heights in the stock market! A few words on that, please’

‘It had always been and will continue to be “Customers first” and only because of that we are here today. Thank you’ he replied moving away from the mic.

‘Mr. Finch, will your brother join …’

But within the reporter could complete her question Adam walked off the stage to his wife and brother standing at the side.

‘You nailed it bro!’ Chris said hugging him happily as the security cleared the hall as the press meet just ended.

‘Not bad Mr. Finch’ Evelyn commented looking at Adam as he turned away from Chris.

‘Thank you Mrs. Finch’ he answered smiling slowly kissing her cheek, pulling her into a hug.

‘God, enough..! I can’t watch your lovey-dovey stuff. My eyes are hurting so I am just gonna go’ Chris said walking away laughing.

‘Everything seemed ok, what happened?’ Hazel asked as Chris paused.

He turned to look at her, slowly taking her hand in his.

‘Grayson’ he replied as his grip over her hand tightened.
