Closed Beta That Only I Played - Chapter 445: It’s Time For My Rage (8)
When I noticed that he was fully consumed with terror and fear by my attack, I turned around and said to Oliveira sternly, “Are you ready to answer my question now? I will give you exactly 30 seconds. I won’t wait any longer. 30, 29, 28, 27…”
Obviously, he was stricken with enough terror and fear, so this time I was intent on pressuring him intently so that he could not endure if he didn’t answer within 30 seconds.
“…”
To be honest, even I didn’t think it would be this much.
Obviously, using Ice Breath that was overlapped five times towards the Atlantic Ocean was different from using it towards São Paulo where countless innocent ordinary people lived along with those who achieved their reality actualization rate.
But I didn’t care.
I kept counting down in a calm and dry voice without any hesitation.
“26, 25, 24, 23…”

At the headquarters of the Antalagos Information Guild in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
After Juyoung Hong notified them of his upcoming visit, the Antalagos Information Guild went into an emergency working mode.
Because of the unexpected appearance of the roots, not only Juyoung Hong but also their leader Oliveira were thrown high into the sky. But they responded quickly, and monitored the situation with a real-time video.
After Juyoung exchanged a few words with Oliveira and his allies, they witnessed him freezing the vast ocean as far as he could. So everybody in the Antalagos Intelligence Guild easily realized that Hong’s action was a clear demonstration of his mighty power that he could easily direct against them.
Even though they knew his clear intent, none of them disparaged it.
“…”
“…”
“…”
As far as one’s show of force was concerned, everybody knew there were clear limits to it, but Juyoung Hong’s show of force was literally beyond description.
Shortly afterwards, somebody’s urgent report came in.
“Juyoung Hong’s attack froze the sea almost 100 kilometers in all directions and the thickness of the ice at the very center appears to be at least 30 meteres or more.”
A heavy silence fell on the Antalagos Headquarters once again.
They were simply overwhelmed by the fact that Juyoung Hong’s show of force was way beyond human capabilities, something a human being could never demonstrate.
So the Antalagos Information Guild quickly reported it to their leader Oliveira through their own chat room.
They knew too well that the consequences of Juyoung Hong going beyond a simple show of force toward them would be devastating to their organization.

On the top of the roots overlooking the city of Sao Paulo.
I still kept counting down.
“8, 7, 6, 5…”
The guild leader Oliveira looked at me nonchalantly while I was counting down to zero as if he had seen a similar scene in the movie or a novel.
But when I uttered three, he finally opened his mouth in terror.
“I will tell you everything.”
As a matter of fact, he intended to keep silent until the end if I showed even the slightest sign of hesitation while counting down. But I clearly showed no hesitation, fully ready to take revenge on him if he didn’t tell me the whole truth.
Because of that, Oliveira had no choice but to change his mind.
The last thing he wanted was for me not only to kill him, but also to abolish the Antalagos Information Guild , which he had built as the world’s No. 1 intelligence guild. That was the worst consequence for him.
But I immediately pushed him hard.
“Tell me right now. Don’t even think about beating around the bush. If you want to talk bullshit, just remember I’ve got only three numbers to count down, just 2, 1, and 0.”
“…”
The guild leader, Oliveira, had no choice but to be speechless for a moment.
To be honest, he was going to tell me that I should not harm him or the Antalagos Information Guild in return for providing me information about the Lucia Guild leader.
But he was now denied the chance to make such an offer to me.
While he could not say anything momentarily, I was about to count 2 when he finally leaked out the information about the Lucia Guild leader.
“The leader of the Lucia Guild is a guy called Umberto. He is from Portugal.”
But I didn’t respond to him at all for this petty tip about Umberto.
Obviously, Oliveira didn’t want to tell me the whole story about Umberto.
If he told me how Umberto came to dominate and grow the Lucia Guild, and obtain the title ‘First Guild’ by obtaining someone’s ability trait to create a guild, he would have been inevitably caught having lied to me about the Lucia Guild and their leader.
So he added, “We don’t know the details about him other than that. Everything about him is veiled in secrecy. But I’m confident I can find out his whereabouts if you give me two or three days since my guild guys have been trying their best to track him down at the request of the Myongjin Guild.”
Umberto escaped from the Myongjin Shelter alone after losing all his subordinates, so he had nobody to back him up. As a result, Oliveira knew where Umberto, the current leader of the Lucia Guild, was hiding because he had been monitoring Umberto’s movement closely.
But he mentioned two or three days because he clearly wanted to save himself and his guild.
So I responded, “Are you sure?”
Guild leader Oliviera was obviously frightened by my threat, and nodded at me fervently like a puppy wagging its tail. It was true that he was really scared.
For it was revealed that he didn’t tell me honestly about the identity of the leader of the Lucia Guild even when he had already obtained information about the latter.
In the end, it seemed I was justified in pushing him hard enough to confess that he had lied to me.
If I extended his lie, it was possible that he could have found out that the leader of the Lucia Guild would launch an attack against the Myongjin Shelter, but I didn’t ask him because I could after killing Umberto first.
So I gave him a clear but determined reply.
“Just one day, got it? I’ll give you exactly one more day. If you can’t track him down within one day, just tell me now.”
I pressured him once more.
In the end, he relented and said, “Alright, I’ll do it!”
He responded, trembling in fear violently.
Based on his reply, I immediately realized that even though he was pressured to change his mind and accept my request to track down Umberto in one day instead of two or three days, he probably already had more detailed information about him or his whereabouts.
So it was my conclusion that he had known the identity of the Lucia Guild leader from the beginning.
But I didn’t take any issue with him anymore, but I was determined to interrogate him later after I got rid of Umberto first.
