Cold Hearted Devil Fell In Love - Chapter 132
Noah walked with Ivy by his side, he was proud of her it was as if she had a part of a dragon resting inside her heart. He thought who wanted a woman who was without intense fire, unable to summon her dark forces as easily as she is able to radiate her beautiful breath-taking light. She was both angel and hellfire in one body. He would be her shield and protect her so she could grow and only need to shine her light on the world and leave the dragon fire for the bedroom. He smirked at the thought.
“What are you thinking?” she asked.
“Nothing, I hope you rested while I was gone.” Noah winked at Ivy.
“Do not even think about it I want cuddles and rest I didn’t sleep a wink since you left. It was due to the unfamiliar surroundings not because I missed you or anything.” Ivy replied and looked away shyly.
It was as he continued to guide Ivy back into the mansion that she glanced overlooked sideways at her lover. The tense muscles on the side of his face were long gone, indicating that everything was now settled. Although she wondered what fate befell Anna, she found that she didn’t really want to know. It should be enough to know that she isn’t coming back and if she did then that would give her a reason to kick her ass. She wouldn’t miss out on the fun if there was a next time
“What are you thinking about? Don’t overthink.” Noah answered realizing that he was being stared at. He had seen her blush and given her time to calm herself but feeling her intense stare he couldn’t help himself. He had missed her touch and her eyes on him. The world watched him but he only wanted her eyes on him, his possessive need to dominate her thoughts and feelings made him happy when she indulged herself in staring at him, it showed she felt the same as he did for her. They were both bad at communication, but their intense love for each other was always there for one another.
Ivy quickly looked away shyly again at being caught out staring. Noah’s gaze had always been enticing and with him being away for so long, Ivy found herself getting slightly hot and bothered by his presence. She increased her pace in an attempt to run away, pulling Noah along behind her.
He walked into their master bedroom and kicked off his shoes he walked to the sitting area to calm himself down, he didn’t want to pounce on his lover, and after all, she had just been in hospital. If his lover was puzzled by his behaviour, it didn’t show. Noah had already dismissed his guards and poured himself a whiskey.
It was a mistake to think that he could cease his desire because he soon became very uncomfortable as it grew more painful when Noah started to remove his suit jacket. Like a demon possessed, Ivy, stood up and walked over to her lover and stopped him just as he was about to remove his tie. She didn’t give Noah time to react. In an instant she flicked up his shirt collar, she pulled the expensive tie she had bought him from around his neck and simultaneously crushed their mouths together.
Ivy suddenly broke off the kiss only to push her lover to the bed before straddling him.
“Looks like you did miss me.” Noah laughed. He loved it when she took charge.
“Shut up,” Ivy replied before she ripped the expensive shirt away and feasted her eyes on his heavenly tanned and sculpted chest.
In the quiet moment after their lovemaking, Noah watched his young lover sprawled on top of him. She was fast asleep. Teo reported that Ivy hadn’t slept well and would often stay through the night watching movies or just flicking through her phone endlessly.
For someone who had just recovered, Ivy was surprisingly strong. In fact, she had the stamina to take charge and ride him throughout their entire lovemaking before finally they both reached a climax and she had fallen asleep quickly after. Noah carefully pulled Ivy closer, Noah then laid Ivy on her back before proceeding to clean her up, and she was so exhausted she didn’t even stir.
The lights on his phone glowed, indicating an incoming message, he presumed it would be from Aiden. He checked it and noticed it was indeed an attachment from Aiden. There weren’t any words, just a photograph of a partially naked woman lying on a cement ground in a dark alley. She was obviously dead from numerous beatings and two gunshot wounds to her head. Her body was exposed and thrown away like garbage, denying her a small dignity even after her death.
Noah felt nothing, she deserved everything she had got in the end. He deleted the message quickly and put down his phone. He then gathered Ivy in his arms again. He was complete and content in this moment.
Dr Stewart had reported that Ivy’s recovery was unbelievable. He hadn’t seen anyone who survived acute arsenic poisoning with little to no side effects. Aside from not knowing about her fertility, everything seems to be fine. He didn’t care if they had children or not, he just wanted Ivy to be healthy and happy in life. If she did want children he would make it happen for her.
Ivy was lucky enough to escape death this time. But he had many other enemies his past and present actions could lead to them trying at nothing to harm Ivy to get him. But he had every faith in himself and his close comrades that they could keep his lover safe. Now he had found something that made the sun rise inside his cold heart he would not let her go nor let others harm her. Noah looked down as she slept peacefully in his arms, he embraced her and kissed her forehead before he too fell asleep.
