Cold Hearted Devil Fell In Love - Chapter 149

Ivy had gone back to bed after her talk with Teo, she slept till late in the afternoon. She woke up slightly refreshed and there was no sign of a headache as of yet so she was feeling great. She stretched in bed before getting up and going into the bathroom.

Ivy had a long relaxing bath before she showered and then put on a face mask, wrapping herself in a towel and going back into the bedroom. Ivy had wanted to do a total pamper day and with Noah gone and no work today was the best opportunity to do this.

Ivy sat on their bed and painted her nails and toenails before lying back. She lifted her phone and checked the time, while waiting for her face mask and nails to dry she flicked through the news and a few apps. She opened Jamie, Pierce and her group chat and messaged them both.

(Anyone up for a few drinks tonight? 🙂 )

She didn’t have to wait long and the chat was soon flooded.

(Ivy… where have you been?) Pierce responded.

(hey sis, sorry have to work tonight and feed the peeps you know) Jamie replied.

Jamie had turned her down but she had hope for Pierce so she replied.

(Jamie you suck. What about you Pierce?) Ivy messaged.

(Sorry Ives I have to work as well, some big boss is in town and he is staying in a local hotel so I have to get the scoop first) Pierce replied.

(Both of you suck) Ivy replied.

(Sorry… next time) Pierce responded.

(Love you too sis) Jamie replied.

(Love you both, be safe!) Ivy replied before setting down her phone again.

Ivy then walked back into the bathroom and washed her face, she then put on some light makeup, her signature eyeliner and red lip on before she turned on her curling tongs to fix her hair. Her loose waves were often unruly and the tongs helped to create a better bounce and curl.

happy with her overall look she then walked to her closet. She laughed when she noticed that Noah had updated her wardrobe. It was coming into Autumn and what was added to her closet was warm, comfy clothing. Autumn was her favourite time of year, she loved the colours burgundy, orange, purple and black.

She decided that tomorrow she would go shopping to decorate the penthouse, she couldn’t wait.

Ivy put on her red lace Victoria Secret underwear and smiled before she rushed to the bed and picked up her phone. She then walked to her full length mirror and snapped a picture and then sent it to Naoh followed by a kissing emoji. She would love to see his reaction but she would settle knowing it would make him smile. She put down her phone and returned to her closet to pick out an outfit.

Ivy picked out a knee length maroon velvet dress, it was tight on her body with a low cut v-shape and had long sleeves. It fit perfectly against the curves of her body, she spun in the mirror. Happy with her look she picked out a pair of Louboutin red So Kate design heels and her leather Kurt Geiger bag before leaving the bedroom.

Teo had sat outside and waited on Ivy but he got bored and fell asleep after a while.

Ivy had walked out into the livingroom to see Teo passed out on the sofa, his arms were folded and his head fell back on the arm rest, his mouth was open and he was slightly snoring.

Ivy giggled and tip toed up to him she poked his cheek lightly.

Teo jumped at Ivy’s touch, during his training he had been taught to listen for approaching danger but that clearly didn’t work when it came to Ivy he had no idea she had sneaked up on him. He jumped and stood up, his heart pumping and he was fully alert.

“Ivy, you scared me!” Teo clutched his chest as he waited for his heart to settle down.

“Sorry… ready to go?” Ivy was apologetic, she didn’t think he would panic this much.

“Sure.” Teo fixed his shirt and put his suit jacket back on before joining Ivy. Walking beside Ivy he asked, “Where are we going?”

Ivy pushed the button for the lift and waited for it to arrive,” I was thinking of the Vixen.”

They both got in the lift together and Teo nodded, “Okay that’s good, it’s one of the bosses establishments so you should be safe.”

Ivy laughed and they exited the lift together, “Don’t worry so much I will protect you.” Ivy then walked to Noah’s Buggati and got in the driver seat.

Teo stood at the driver’s door, his mouth open, “Are you driving?”

Ivy rolled her eyes and replied, “get in the passenger seat dummy.”

Teo got in the front passenger seat and turned to ask Ivy, “Can you drive?”

Ivy turned on the car and the engine roared to life, “I guess we will find out.”

Teo quickly buckled his belt and hung on to the side door frame but his worries were gone after a few minutes. Ivy was an excellent driver, she liked to go fast but she was safe so he was reassured.

They arrived outside The Vixen after a ten minute drive and Ivy stopped at the entrance. She got out and walked up the red carpet. Having been here before the doormen instantly recognised Ivy, they parted to let her in.

Ivy heard her name being called and she turned her head to the left so she didn’t see anyone as the crowd blocked her view. She stepped forward but Teo quickly stood in front of her.

Teo stood in front of Ivy to prevent any harm as he saw an entourage of guards surrounding the man that called out to Ivy. He didn’t know the man that called Ivy’s name but something told him he wasn’t to be trusted.
