Cold Hearted Devil Fell In Love - Chapter 169
Ivy collected herself and although she saw Kammie’s concern for her she ignored her. She always had tomorrow to visit Dr Stewart’s office and ask him about her dizzy spells.
This was going to be the best day of her life so far. She had many sad, empty and lonely days, so she looked forward to an epic day ahead. She wasn’t a girl who wanted the white dress and huge wedding and so far Noah had met all her expectations for the day.
Kammie let it go but she walked closely beside Ivy just in case she needed her assistance. Ivy had been so friendly so she wanted to look out for her.
Ivy held her head high as she walked out of the changing room and towards the waiting room where she saw her friends and Noah waiting.
“You are so beautiful Ivy!” Teo beamed at her and she shyly smiled and thanked him.
“You scrub up well,” Thomas said.
“Gee thanks.” Ivy laughed, Thomas wasn’t one for compliments he was the teasing kind of big brother.
Aiden looked to his boss who stood to greet Ivy he didn’t say anything as he knew his bosses temperament. He didnt like any males even glancing in Ivy’s direction, for his life and job he kept quiet.
Noah stood and held his arm out, Ivy took it and he then pulled Ivy to his side as he strode out of the shop.
As the stunning couple left the shop Kammie rushed up to Thomas and held his suit jacket.
Thomas furrowed his brows and was about to throw her arm off when he saw her eyes, “Say it or take your hands off me.”
His abrupt tone didnt put Kammie off, she took her hands off his sleeve as she had stopped him as she had wanted to. Kammie then collected her breath and said, “Ivy took a dizzy spell but she didnt want me to say anything to Mr Adler… but I had to tell you.”
Thomas then realised that the salesgirl was just concerned for Ivy and it must have taken some courage to approach him. Thomas nodded, “Thank you, I will keep an eye on Ivy.”
Thomas then followed Aiden and Teo out of the shop, he took a glance back and found the sales assistant still watching Ivy walk away with Noah through the shop window.
Aiden got into the passenger seat and as Thomas joined them in the driver’s seat. Teo from the back seat said to Thomas, “Dont tell me you will be getting me to bulk order your condoms from now on?”
Teo laughed and Thomas turned around and hit him stopping him from laughing. The hit was strong but playful.
In the car, in front, Noah had helped Ivy in and he had started to drive towards the next stop. He had everything planned and he hoped that she would like everything. Ivy had never asked for anything and that only made him want to spoil her more.
“Where too next?” Ivy asked as they weaved through the City streets.
Noah smiled and answered, “Next you become Mrs Adler.”
Ivy smiled and glanced out of the window, her life had taken a complete one eighty since she met Noah. He came into her life like a storm and took over, not giving her a chance to escape and now she would never want to. She wondered if this was what love was, unrelenting, wild yet comforting.
She wouldnt ask any more questions she just waited as Noah drove. He soon stopped and Ivy didnt recognise the surroundings, they were still in the City but she had never been in this district before.
Noah turned to Ivy and said, “Ready?”
Ivy nodded, of course, she was. Their relationship was a wild ride of highs and lows but they had always had each other. “Yes, are you read hubby?”
Noah growled and pulled her face to his kissing her gently before he then got out of the car and walked to her door opening it for her and holding her hand as she exited.
“I think that it is my new favourite word,” Noah announced as he walked by her side.
Ivy shyly kept her head down as she felt his heated gaze on her. She then looked up and saw a villa appear in front of her. It had a small lake on one side which had black and white swans swimming about on it and turtles lay on the bank. The lake reminded her of the time Noah had confessed to her at the lake beside her grandparent’s house.
“Do you like it?” Noah asked.
“Very much so, it is like my grandparents,” Ivy responded.
Noah smiled, he had bought this place and built the lake for her, it wasn’t finished yet and he hoped it would soon be their home away from the chaotic City. “This is our place.”
“Our place?” Ivy asked.
“Yes ours, I bought it for us. It is not finished though as inside the villa is still being constructed but it will be ours. I can show you around inside afterwards, but you need to be careful it’s still under construction.” Noah said.
Ivy smiled, “You have thought of everything.” She announced.
Noah smirked of course he had, when he thought of forever she was there and he wanted them to have a proper home and not just a penthouse in the CIty. He hoped they could relax here and grow as a couple.
Noah then put his hands over her eyes, he whispered in her ear and said, “Trust me.”
Ivy trusted him and let him lead her forward, he helped her down some steps and she felt her nerves increase, she was excited for what was to come.
“Ready?” he said into her ear.
“Always,” Ivy responded and then she felt Noah’s hands leave her face. Her eyes readjusted and what she saw made her choke, she felt a lump of happiness in her throat and she smiled.
“Like it?” Noah asked.
