Collection Of Horror Tales - Chapter 29 She. Pt. 2
The next morning was a beautiful one, the sun was warmly touching my face. Even though it was relatively cold outside it looked to be a promising day.
When I looked to my side, I saw him. Suddenly I had to smile. His face was chiseled like a sculpture. He looked like an angel. The morning sun was drawing his silhouette with shadows. His eyes opened. He had an aura of pure happiness around him, as if he forgot everything else in this world beside me. Suddenly the noise of steps made his vibe take a 180-turn. A fear was rising in his eyes that irritated me, but at the same time it gave me the chills. A bad foreboding was rising in my stomach. Suddenly a rushed voice was heard.
“You have to hide girl; my wife is coming.” The simple words of “my wife is coming” from his angelic lips crushed the reality around me. I came back to myself like I was somehow asleep this past night. A pressed “Where?” full of anger and disgust was voiced from my lips.
The wardrobe, he simply said. The time it took me to collect my stuff and hide in the wardrobe was so short, that I was wondering if I just woke up some minutes ago. Around me was a darkness one could only experience in small shut rooms. The small space let me feel slightly uncomfortable, but it was still just a slight feeling. While I turned and twisted, in a hopefully silent manner, to get into a comfortable position, my fingers suddenly touched something like a Cellphone. The player and his wife were at the front door right now, so I allowed myself a spontaneous look on what I found. It was indeed a mobile phone, but it’s overall look didn’t look healthy. The display was broken, the edges were torn down and there was even a small part that was missing completely. Following my boredom and a tinge of revenge, I tried to turn it on, just to see if it was still working. In the beginning it didn’t do anything, but suddenly, when my fingers gently touched the displays surface, a surreal scene unfolded before my eyes. A faint blue light was flashing on the surface. It was moving in unnatural straight lines and consistent angels. It was almost, as if there was a logic, too high for me to understand behind all that. After the light faded into the broken device, the display lit up in the same colored light, that entered it. A scene was shown through the view of a rear mirror. Two incredible fast cars one white and one black were approaching unreal fast. The scene intensified quickly until it seemed, as if they would crash. In the last moment, the mobile phone was dropped, and everything just spun. Still one could manage to get a glimpse into the two following cars. There was nothing, no human, just a faint blue light that run across their front windows.
