Collection Of Horror Tales - Chapter 37 Childhood Memories Pt.3
After the second body hit the ground, the black smoke slowly retracted back to Bens body. The tall figure once again disappeared into the void. After everything was gone, like it never had been there in the first place, Bens body fell down too. Once he came back to his senses, he noticed the situation around him. Irritated, filled with disbelieve and disgust he searched his memory for what happened. What he found greatly shocked him.
There was a memory fragment in his head. It that was so weird an unhuman, he felt like it could never be his own and jet everything else pointed exactly to that conclusion. It was by no means long, but it wasn’t short either. In it he had a body with long hair all over, his legs were more goat like with hooves at their ends and telling from the flickering shadow beneath, he had to have two long horns on his head. Although this body was as strange and unnatural as it could be, it felt weirdly familiar to him. Furthermore, he was filled with power while residing in this particular body. It was no physical power but rather of a different kind. It was more like an aura, which let his will be the universal law within its reach. It was a power one could get drunk and lost in. Within his memory he was standing beneath a throne. He could not look up at the being that sat on it. Even if his body was filled with unimaginable power in this form, he was still like a child in front of that throne. A terrifying dark and evil will was sweeping over him and words started to form in his mind.
“You were looking for me my son?” He heard himself answer in a language that sounded like the screams of dying people.
“What is anger father?” The evil aura around him flickered as if it just chuckled.
“For you my son, it will always be the harbinger of death. ”
