Cornered by the CEO - Chapter 442
She didn’t answer. She didn’t know what it was, but looking at him sent a surge of emotions through her. One look into his eyes told her that he was extremely happy.
Her heart swelled.
The man had held himself off and made her cum so many times relentlessly so that she didn’t ask for his cock.
“Hey…” Mo Qingchen began, his tone laced with panic as her eyes filled with tears. “What’s wrong?”
She shook her head. Nothing was wrong. Everything was right. Because she hadn’t realized just how carefully he thought about every move he made.
She cried.
“Baby, are you okay?” he asked, moving out of the shower.
Qian Meng sniffled and nodded. She wiped the tears from her cheeks and gave him a watery smile. “Let’s take care of the little monster between your legs. You’ve been such a good boy, Mr. Mo. You need to be rewarded thoroughly.”
She dragged him back into the shower and made sure to give the same treatment as he had given her. Part of it was a reward and the rest was punishment.
When they came out of the shower, Mo Qingchen asked her the question once again.
“Nothing,” she answered simply, with the shake of her head as she tightened the towel around herself.
“I just…” she once again began sniffing, trying to hold back the second round of tears from falling. “I’m…”
“Why are you crying?” he asked, clearly troubled at the thought.
She had no words to express the feeling, so she hadn’t said anything else. He spun around to her quickly and made his way to the sink. Qian Meng wrapped her arms around his waist with the towel clutched in her fists and placed a gentle kiss on his back.
She looked up at him as he turned around in her arms, tightening her hold on him as he took her face in his hands and they stood pressed against each other, stomach to stomach.
“What’s going on?” he asked. The shimmering pool of black reflected nothing but love and concern. Despite her efforts to stop the tears, they darted down her cheeks. They were little pellets of grief for the Mo Qingchen who she hadn’t completely understood despite his words.
“I’m just emotional, you know?” she answered through sighs and sniffles.
“That’s understandable.” He dipped his head to kiss away her tear on one cheek while his thumb swept away the wetness on the other. “Just as long as they aren’t sad tears.”
Qian Meng breathed in deeply, calming down as his scent filled her lungs. “They are not.”
He pulled back to look into her eyes. His hands caressed the sides of her neck. “Do you want to talk about it? What are you feeling?”
Her tears had already subsided and she felt more relaxed than she could in a very long time. “There is nothing to talk about really. I just felt really good. That is the best way to put it. And it wasn’t only physically.” A brief kiss on her lips momentarily silenced her.
He nodded at her words finally and placed a feather-light kiss on the corner of her mouth. “For me, too.”
His smile was breathtaking. “Goddess… you don’t know how long I have waited to do that to you again. They say women change after giving birth and that they are sensitive. I wanted to try it out, too.”
She had to admit that she had shied away from such advances since she gave birth. She knew how much it meant to him, but she didn’t feel ready for him to go down there.
“Sorry for being a crybaby.”
His hands in her hair soothed her. “Don’t apologize. I enjoyed the opportunity to brag that I made you cum so hard that you cried.”
Even as Qian Meng laughed, fresh fears welled in her eyes. She appreciated his efforts to lighten the moment, but she was feeling so many things at once that it was hard to hold on to one for a long time.
“I’m sorry…” she bit out through a whimper. “I don’t know what is wrong with me.”
The look on his face was helpless and Qian Meng felt so bad for him to have to deal with her.
“Did I say something wrong?” he asked, searching for an answer desperately. “I’m sorry. It might be inappropriate to make jokes at a time like this, but I am stuck between whether I should be encouraging you to cry and get it out, or make you laugh and stop your tears.”
“I’m just needy,” she finally said. She wanted to cling to Mo Qingchen and never let go. Her stomach chose the exact moment to growl loudly. “And really hungry, apparently.”
“I’ll make you something,” he offered quickly.
Part of her wanted to decline his offer and ask him to just hold her. A more rational part of her wanted to take the opportunity to get dressed and put together emotionally.
“Okay.”
“Let me go see what we have.”
She nodded, chewing on her bottom lip. Since getting pregnant, she would wake up in the middle of the night and go through the fridge for food. Mo Qingchen quickly took to cooking healthy snacks for her to eat in the middle of the night. In their house, ordering food from outside had been long prohibited for Mrs. Mo’s health.
Hence, the husband ended up making everything from scratch. Even the blueberry ice cream and cheesecakes she had come to love were all handmade and stored in the fridge at all times.
With a kiss on her cheek and a second on her forehead, he left her, slipping out of the bathroom with quiet grace. She was left with every nerve in her body missing him.
She sucked in some fresh air to clear her mind from the intoxication of breathing him in for too long.
After dressing in some fresh panties and one of Mo Qingchen’s t-shirts, she felt much more put together physically. And as she stood in front of the mirror, she brushed out the tangled and still damp hair, her mind slowly cleared up.
Suddenly, she realized why she kept crying. She was once again shaken by the depth of her love. It wasn’t the first time she had felt that way. Every time, just when she felt she knew the weight of what Mo Qingchen meant to her, she fell for him a little more.
