Corrupted Innocence - 5 The Winged Messenger
Violet lied down in her bed once again after another exhausting day of dealing with idiots from the guild or from the city itself. Now she was finally free she also noticed that tiredness had overtaken both Mia and Lilith from the long day and she smiled upon seeing their peaceful smiles in their sleep. She was about to pick up her book when all of her surroundings were encased in black and she seemed to be in an endless void of blackness. Then she noticed something a little girl with white hair and red eyes wearing a red frilled dress and eight mighty wings larger than buildings stretching out from her back.
The girl looked at Violet like a mother looked at a child and began to move closer and Violet remained unmoving enchanted by the girl and her wings as she was frozen in place. Soon the girl was close enough that she began to speak “Violet Evergreen is it?”
Violet fumbled out an answer “Y-yes.”
The girl smiled and her deep crimson eyes shone throughout the void as she looked at Violet with a warm gaze “I didn’t get the wrong person then, that’s good.”
Violet was very confused at was happening, who was this girl. “Are you a God?”
“You could say the mother of your gods I suppose. Though Gods aren’t that amazing the ones you worship are younger than some of the races such as my once faithful servants the angels.”
“Servants?”
The girl began to walk around Violet in a perfect circle, the splash of water playing a melody as she lapped around her “You see, I had an epiphany after I unleashed the Great Dragon upon Gaia and that was I was truly selfish.”
“What do you mean?”
“What do you think?”
Violet didn’t know how to respond and kept quiet eliciting a smile on the child’s face “I believe I created your bloodline to hold back the dragon when the day of judgement comes but I had a change of heart along the way.”
“Elaborate.”
“You see, you bring death so that life can bloom. So I created a being to contend with you a being made of only darkness that brings death to so that life withers. Of course it isn’t immortal so you don’t have to worry and the humans are currently thinking that she is a disease!”
“I don’t understand.”
“Of course you don’t after all watchful gaze of the &”(‘!”& has been present since the beginning and I didn’t understand at first either. However, this final ‘game’ should be my middle finger to the “‘(§&ç’&.”
“The what?”
“You cannot comprehend it anyway I only discovered its true name when I discovered the reason behind my existence.”
“Your existence?”
“I suppose though so far I followed that moral until I stopped the senseless killing. IT wants me to kill endlessly. IT is the é”ç’é”è of !éy甧(e do you understand?”
“No I don’t!”
“The “é'(!(“‘ is mysterious and all knowing it has knowledge of everything that transpire but I have found a way to warn you of the trials ahead. This war will end but soon after you will face the death of a thousand suns.”
“You aren’t making sense…”
“It wouldn’t yet but to win against such an entity I have to play this final game and only then may it stop its mad game.”
“What do you mean?”
“I am not the creator, I am the creation that created its own creation.”
“What?”
“You see I am not the beginning I am the second the place I-”
A large boom echoed throughout the void as if a giant creature had roared from the very depths of the void.
“(§!È(§’ is aware take care and help complete the cycle so that it can be revealed and vulnerable once again!”
“I-I-”
“For now continue with your quest however this will serve as a warning, after discovery such a threat that even I cannot hope to defeat as of current, you must kill or save your new ‘sister’ and then face the dragon and stop the death of Gaia so that I can finally end the games of (!’§ç’!!”
A roar boomed again across the void and the girl disappeared shortly after Violet appeared in her bed once again a cold sweat on her brow.
“What is going on?”
