There was not much time left as Aren started to move, and Tyrance also started running in other directions to find the hunters or treasures.
Time slowly passed, and it was nearing the end. However, both of them were still on the edge as anything could happen at any time.
After all, there is a chance that the duo at the second rank would find a treasure or defeat a hunter.
Naturally, they wished nothing like that would happen in the last seconds.

Tyrance and Aren were in a different place and running while observing.
Suddenly, Tyrance saw a red-skin colored Hobgoblin, and the Hobgoblin also noticed Tyrnace.
“HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!”
“GHAAAAAAAAAA!”
Both of them shouted and dashed towards each other with their full power while releasing skills.
The Hobgoblin waved both of his hands in a claw motion towards Tyrance, and suddenly, the ground around Tyrance broke, protruded upward, and closed in towards Tyrance.
However, Tyrance had <Jet Stream> skill, which he used to fly up before the ground walls could slap him.
While flying up, he also threw his skills one by one as a large <Pryo Claw> and <Water Bullets> shot towards the Hobgoblin. The water bullets were adult-thumb-sized thick condensed bullets of water with hit penetrative power and breakneck speed.
Even though the speed of the water bullets and fire claw was fast, the Hobgoblin noticed that both had a slight curve and would land at different places depending on where he decided to dodge one of the skills, ‘Humph, I’m not falling for that.’
The Hobgoblin dodged the water bullets that arrived first but felt that the claw might hit him after he dodged because its direction could be controlled by the human kid in front of him, so he was ready with his defense-type skill as a water barrier formed around him.
The pyro claw hit the water barrier as it was nullified with only slight damage on the barrier.
However, Tyrance didn’t waste time as he used his<Jet Stream> and <Explosive Palm> combination to change his direction and descended at a fast speed before hitting the water barrier with his <Bloody Chops> and also opening his mouth to release the <Lava bomb> skill.
*BOOM…*
The Hobgoblin inside the barrier could see everything, but the close-ranged <Lava Bomb> got him as the water barrier blasted along with him shooting backward with injuries.
However, he still had more than half of his bodily health. He hurriedly stood up before pointing his right palm towards incoming Tyrance as several earth spikes shot towards him.
But instead of dodging, Tyrance released <Water Bullets> as it destroyed the earth spikes before going towards the Hobgoblin.
‘I only have 2500 spirit energy left…,’ Tyrnace thought while chasing the Hobgoblin who had started running after dodging his <Water Bullets>.
[Treasure Hunt is over! Congratulations, everyone!]
Suddenly, everyone lost their acquired skills and was unable to use their powers.
But afterward, everyone disappeared from the Treasure zone and appeared inside the large ghost demon ship that was hovering above the city.
Tyrance and Aren appeared in a small room with creepy feelings, but a large treasure chest was in front of them.
However, both of them were also flooded with notifications.
“Hahaha, I knew that we would get essence after finishing the trial. Dang, now I can easily level up several times,” Tyrance laughed joyfully.
On the other hand, Aren was also pleasantly surprised.
[Your five days of total experienced collected is 343,490.]
[Your path levels up to level 10, you can initiate the 2nd path trial anytime in the next ten days.]
[One talent point gained.]
Aren saw that his stored experience went from 277,550 to 621,040.
As for his path…
<-Aren->
[ Path- Emporio Armalist ]
-Level: 10 [ 115,934/512,000 Exp ]
-Armalist Force: [ 1300/1300 ]
-Talent points: 1
‘So spending five days in this event didn’t halt my lifeform and path level progress, phew,’ Aren sighed relief and felt worthwhile. He was actually a bit disappointed when he didn’t get any exp to his path or lifeform level after killing the monsters. However, it seems that they were sort of compensated.
“By the way, did you check the leaderboard?” Tyrance asked, “I couldn’t check it before arriving here, and now I can’t check it.”
Hearing that, Aren sighed and shook his head, “It was close…”
“What?!” Tyrance jumped in shock, “don’t tell me we came 2nd rank?”
Aren looked at Tyrance before saying slowly, “It was close…,” pausing, Aren suddenly grinned and spoke, “but we retained our first rank.”
Tyrance was speechless before he sighed a relief, “I really couldn’t tell because I heard that top 3 gets separate rooms for rewards.”
After saying that, Tyrance moved towards the shining wooden treasure chest with golden patterns on it.
But suddenly, a skeleton wearing a fancy demonic coat appeared in front of the treasure chest. Its eyes had a blue flame burning in them, and there were two horns on its skull as well.
Tyrance jumped backward out of caution.
The Skeleton grinned and spoke, “congratulations on getting the first rank. The treasure chest behind me is your reward for the first rank, and these two cards contain the treasure points for you to spend on our special treasure shop.”
The Skeleton conjured two black cards with a golden skull on them as they flew towards Tyrance and Aren.
“You can access the special treasure shop after opening the treasure chest behind me. Enjoy,” the Skeleton said with a grin before disappearing in a puff of blue flame.
“Infuse your soul energy in the card to get information about it inside our heads,” Tyrance said.
Aren nodded as he did the same and saw.
[Ghost Demon Card]
-Treasure points: 92,250
“It looks like the treasure points are evenly divided between us,” Aren said.
“Yep. Now let’s open the treasure chest and see what we get,” Tyrance said as he approached the treasure chest.
Aren also walked in front of the treasure chest.
Tyrance opened the treasure chest slowly as a golden glow released from the gaps.
For one second, after Tyrance completely opened the one square meter treasure chest, they couldn’t see anything because of the bright golden glow releasing from it.
However, Aren and Tyrance got notification as they received gold coins.
[ 50,000 gold coins added into the inventory.]
“Geez, I hope these measly gold coins are not the only reward,” Tyrance spoke with slight annoyance while seeing the golden glow slowly subsiding.
Aren was a bit speechless hearing that, but he also felt that 50,000 gold coins were really not that much. Those A-rank skills cost more than 10,000 gold coins each, and Aren knew that he could get skill stones in dungeons and sell them for gold coins as well.
He then looked at the opened treasure chest, which finally revealed its content.
“Hahaha, awesome! These are all valuable materials and items,” Tyrance said with a loud laugh.
However, Aren was a bit surprised because inside the treasure chest were mystical glassy cards with a magical image of things printed on them.
Athan looked at them with his eyes and soon knew their deal.
‘So it’s like that…those crystal cards are like storage containing the things printed on them in image form. Interesting.’
“Aren, let’s divide these items like this: You pick one, and then I pick one.. You go first,” Tyrance said with a grin.
