Cosmic Peak - Chapter 130
[Note: Please reread chapter 85 because I had to edit some stuff and also add more details that are important in the story plot.]
—–
Aren pointed the [Miss-Fortune Revolver] at his temple and pulled the trigger as 1000 of his spirit energy was consumed.
The same phenomenon happened as Aren’s whole body was covered in a multi-colored glow after the bullet wisp hit him.
[Your current luck: -12]
“Ouch…,” Aren smiled wryly after seeing the number.
“How much it is? From your expression, it looks like the result is bad,” Tyrance said with doubt.
“I got -12 luck. Which means It’s a bit of bad luck,” Aren said.
“Can you use that revolver on me?” Tyrance asked.
“Alright, I have never tried if this works on other people, so let’s see,” Aren said as he pointed the Revolver at Tyrance’s temple and pulled the trigger.
Naturally, 1000 spirit energy was consumed again.
A bullet wisp released from the barrel and hit Tyrance as he was covered in a multi-colored glow for a brief second.
“I got it! Hahaha, I got +24 luck,” Tyrance said with an excited grin.
“So it works,” Aren muttered with a raised eyebrow, ‘I’ll also have to make this revolver into Articule gear and see how it transforms.’
“Alright, I am going to spin the roulette now,” Tyrance said as he turned to the Roulette and spun it.
The needle started spinning, and after three seconds, it stopped on the 4th number, which means that Tyrance got the fourth most valuable item.
“Not bad,” said the Skeleton while nodding his head, “you can open the chest no.4 and get your prize.”
Afterward, the Skeleton turned to Aren spoke with a grin, “your turn.”
Aren walked in front of the Roulette and spun it.
The needle started spinning, and after three seconds, he stopped on the 15th number.
“Well, I expected that,” Aren said with a wry smile. He then walked in front of the treasure chest that had 15 printed on it and opened it.
He saw a card in it with a spirit stone printed on it.
“It’s a force level 2 spirit stone of rare-grade. You can use it when you become a Supreme-lifeform,” the Skeleton said with a smile.
Aren nodded as he picked up the card and put it inside his inventory.
“Alright, good performance, both of you. See you next time if you encounter my ship again, hahaha.” the Skeleton laughed with gusto before he waved his hand as both Aren and Tyrance disappeared and appeared in the city at their previous location.
Before leaving, Aren had taken a good look at the Skeleton but didn’t manage to get any information. Everything was ??? in the status panel.
‘If it’s ??? then it’s like above Legendary lifeform,’ Aren thought.
“Let’s hatch the egg first. I want to see it,” said Tyrance with a grin.
“Me too. I’ve wanted to find a beast tamer after arriving here anyway, but glad that I got into this Ghost Demon Ship event first,” Aren said with a smile.
Afterward, both of them went inside the inn’s outside ground filled with ten small open-air pavilions and a pond in the middle.
Aren and Tyrance went inside one of the empty pavilions as Aren took out the egg and put it on the floor.
“Ohh, I know about this! I have seen an egg of a Divine Maleferius Glaze Fox, and this egg is a bit similar to it,” Tyrance said with a surprised expression, “It’s not the same, but I am sure this egg has the bloodline of Divine Maleferius Glaze Fox.”
“Yeah, It’s a lesser species of that Legendary creature, and it’s called Tundra Maleferius Ice Fox with 24% bloodline concentration of Divine Maleferius Glaze fox,” Aren said with a nod.
“Hehe, It looks like your eyes can see more details about all the things. That’s very useful,” Tyrance said with a chuckle, “let’s see what it becomes after using that Beast Evolution droplet on it.”
Aren nodded as he took out a vial from his inventory that he took out from the storage card.
He opened the vial’s mouth before pouring a golden droplet with a dreamy white hue in it on the egg.
Tyrance suddenly remembered something and hurriedly asked, “you have bound this egg to you already, right? Because if not, then we will freeze to death here.”
“Oh?” Aren was surprised, but he nodded, “I had already bound it to me when I got it. No worries.”
“Then it’s good. Because the egg itself contains more power than the fox inside at first, and if the fox doesn’t sense its master, then it will release that power for its self-protection.”
“Interesting,” Aren nodded with a surprised expression, “however, it’s fine because it’s bound to my soul. I could already sense the connection between it and me when I got it.”
The egg started glowing, and strange vein-like patterns all over it. They glowed with a dreamy blue, light gold, and crimson red.
The egg glowed for five minutes before it trembled a bit, and… the first crack appeared on it.
*Crack…*
The cracks on the egg slowly increased before finally, a mouth came out while eating the egg.
It was the head of an adorable fox with soft, thick fur and golden-blue eyes.
It curiously looked at Aren with sparkling eyes while eating the eggshell. Aren was surprised to see its information because a mutation had happened with its bloodline as it evolved and the fox became a new species known as Aurelian Maleferius Glaze Fox.
“Shii…shiii…”
The fox let out a strange whistling-like sound towards Aren before it rapidly started eating the eggshell. The fox bared its head on the eggshell and rotated as it ate the whole eggshell in ten seconds.
“Hahaha, It looks like this fox got a lively personality,” Tyrance said with a laugh.
*Shii…Shii….*
After eating the egg entirely, the fox jumped onto the Athan’s shoulder and rubbed its furry head on Aren’s cheeks.
Aren smiled as it patted its head. After a second, however, Aren suddenly got a thought message from the fox.
“You can put it inside your inner space. It probably needs to rest there for a few days after eating the eggshell,” Tyrance said with a grin as he knew all information about the spirit beast.
Aren nodded as he got the same thought message from the fox.
After Aren gave permission of sort, the fox disappeared from his shoulder.
