Creating A New Legend Through Practical Magic - 32 Harry Potter
At around noon, the four children inside the cabin were peacefully eating their snacks. No words were exchanged in this duration.
After a while, Draco had finished eating and excused himself to go to the washroom, leaving Casimir with the other two.
“So… When did you and Draco meet?” Theodore asked, trying to start up a conversation.
“Around four years ago at my birthday banquet.” Casimir replied, nibbling on a chocolate frog.
“Four years ago?! You two knew each other before I met Draco then!” Theodore exclaimed. “I met him around a year and a half ago when my father brought me to meet his parents.”
“Oh. I see.” Casimir muttered.
It seems that, if Draco wasn’t around, his little fangirl was actually very quiet.
At this moment, Draco finally returned with two other boys following him. “Found Crabbe and Goyle while I was out. And, you wouldn’t guess who is on this train with us.”
“Who?” Casimir asked curiously.
“Harry Potter! The legendary boy who lived!” Draco exclaimed. “Me, Crabbe, and Goyle were just about to head out and look for him. You coming?” Draco turned to Casimir.
Harry Potter? I’ve been hearing that name quite often lately. Maybe it’s about time I meet the legendary person himself.
“Sure. I don’t see why not.” Casimir replied and followed behind Draco, leaving Theodore and the fanigirl behind, looking at them with forlorn expressions.
…
After asking for some directions from a few other children, they arrived in front of a very normal looking cabin.
Without any unnecessary actions, Draco directly pulled open the door and strode right in as if he owned the place.
Surprisingly, who they saw in front of the cabin was actually the boy whom they met at Madam Malkin’s shop. How coincidental! Though, Casimir was unfamiliar with the other boy with him.
“Is it true?” Draco said. “They’re all saying down the train that Harry Potter’s in this compartment. So it’s you, is it?” Draco looked towards the boy they had previously met.
“Yes.” Harry replied, looking at the other boys behind Draco and Casimir.
“Oh, this is Crabbe and this is Goyle. The one beside me is Marie. You’ve met him before.” Draco carelessly introduced as Casimir smiled amiably at Harry with a polite nod. “And my name’s Malfoy, Draco Malfoy. ”
The orange haired boy gave a slight cough, seeming to want to laugh but hid it. Draco looked at him, obviously displeased.
“Think my name’s funny, do you? No need to ask who you are. My father told me all the Weasleys have red hair, freckles, and more children than they can afford. ”
O∆O Draco has entered his Sass mode! Must stop this at once!
“Sorry for my friend’s mouth. He didn’t mean it that way. He didn’t get enough sleep last night so he’s a bit cranky. Please don’t take it to heart.” Casimir said as he covered Draco’s mouth.
“Mmf! Mm!” Draco glared at Casimir, trying to remove the hand on his mouth but was unable to.
“Oh. It’s alright, Marie. Everyone gets cranky from time to time, I guess.” Harry replied with a complicated look.
“My name’s Casimir actually. Draco just calls me Marie. Nice meeting you.” Casimir smiled at them. “Well, we better not disturb you any further. Have a nice day.”
And just like that, they exited the cabin without any other accidents happening.
…
Inside the cabin they just left, Ron was looking at Harry inquisitively. “You know them?”
“I met them at Madam Malkin’s. Don’t know about Draco but, Casimir seems alright…” Harry explained.
“I don’t know about that. He seems really fake to me. And he hangs out with Malfoy.” Ron said with derision. “Anyone who hangs with the Malfoys are no good themselves.”
Suddenly, the door slid open and the messy haired girl from before strode in but, Ron ignored her presence and continued to speak with Harry.
“I’ve heard of his family,” said Ron darkly. “They were some of the first to come back to our side after You-Know-Who disappeared. Said they’d been bewitched. My dad doesn’t believe it. He says Malfoy’s father didn’t need an excuse to go over to the Dark Side. ”
“So you better not be tricked by them.” Ron continued.
“They seem to be really good friends though…” Harry mumbled, secretly envious of such closed knit friendship.
…
After they arrived at their own cabin, Casimir directly shoved Draco into his seat. “You really need to put a stopper on your mouth.”
“But he-” Draco was about to speak but, Casimir cut him off.
“I don’t care if he was laughing at your name or what not. You really need to control your temper.” Casimir lectured. “That mouth of yours will end up offending someone you shouldn’t if you don’t fix it soon.”
Like being poured with cold water, Draco turned silent and just sat on his seat, looking at everything except Casimir’s face.
Meanwhile, the other children stared at Casimir in awe. They never thought they would meet someone who had the guts to lecture Draco in their entire lives.
“I’m sorry for calling you Draco’s girlfriend a while ago.” Theodore apologized sincerely. “I came to realize that you are actually more like Draco’s second mom.”
… Both Draco’s and Casimir’s expressions turned dark as they both glared at Theodore, making the boy shut up.
“… It’s about time we’ll be reaching Hogwarts. I’ll be going to the washroom to change into my robes. You should do so as well.” The little fangirl said after a while, breaking the silence in the room. Crabbe and Goyle followed after her since their luggage were in a different cabin.
At last, Draco, Casimir, and Theodore were left alone.
Without saying anything, Casimir began taking off his clothes in front of the two boys, surprising them.
“What are you doing?!” Draco stood up and stared at the now half naked Casimir in horror.
“Changing clothes.” Casimir stated seriously and pulled out his robe from his case. “And you two should do the same if you don’t want to be late.”
Without minding them anymore, Casimir proceeded to change his clothes.
