Crossdressing To Survive An Apocalypse - Chapter 360: Future plans
Hary rushed ahead of everyone and picked it up delicately. He then gazed back at them all.
Yue understood that look. Hary was not willing to share it with them. After all testing with this meteorite might end up wasting the recourses, the precious resources that Prisitsky needed to live.
He gazed up at Fan and nodded. “let’s give this one to Prisitsky.”
“Why? I don’t need it,” Prisitsky said with a shrug.
Hary jumped off the airplane with a deep glare. “So that you can die? not on my watch.” He garbed him by his hand and started to drag him away.
“Let go of me. This is precious research material you can’t waste on me! You hear that. Yue tell him!”
Yue smiled softly. “Sorry, your life is more important than that meteor.”
Prisitsky gaped at him but silently followed after Hary.
Yue and the others just stood there, looking at the plane. “soooo…. Do you guys have any idea where we might find another one?”
“if we check the trajectory of the meteor fall we might be able to get a meteor shard,” Tian added.
“but how will we find that, systems are all down,” Peng peng whispered.
Everyone fell silent.
Daylight was disappearing by the minute. With a loud sigh, they all returned back to the prison base postponing their plans of retreat.
Uncle wen had already got everything under control. The soldiers were a great help because they were so disciplined and obedient.
Juda and Peng peng helped in distributing the food. A few base members did try to act out but tian took care of it appropriately.
After sun went down Yue and Fan went out to untie the ones tied outside. To their dismay, two of them had died of fear.
Yue started to regret this idea of his.
He gazed up at his lover with tears in his eyes. He only wanted to scare them, but they… the died… “What have we done?”
“Shh, it’s okay.”
The ones who were untied took off into the base, but Fan caught hold of each of them and raged them close.
Trembling, they all knelt on the ground.
“If anyone hears a word of this, you can imagine what we will do to you,” he glared coldly.
The men tremblingly nodded and dashed into the base.
Fan sighed, massaging his brow. “We can’t stay here any longer… those men did not learn a single thing.”
Yue came up to him and held his warm hands. “Then… shall we leave?”
“We might have to.” Fan looked reluctant as he gazed at the multiple women and children of their base.
“We can take the ones who come with us voluntarily. the ones who want to leave we can give them a share of food and water,”
Fan nodded reluctantly. “let’s do that.” his eyes then fell on the other prison base.
Yue also did not know what he was going to do with the bunch of kids living there. They all had abnormal power and they seem to be following Murong Shao.
Only after Murong Shao is awake, will they know the answer as to whether the kids will follow them or not.
Yue and Fan headed off to the isolation cells and locked all the gates as a protective measure.
Walking in they noticed a cheerful voice talking loudly.
It was his mum.
Yue froze. it had been a few years since he had heard his mum laugh and chat so cheerfully. “Maybe saving my grandmother was a good decision after all.”
“If mum is happy, then we all are happy.” Fan whispered kissing his cheeks. He hesitated a bit and continued to kiss his delicate little neck.
Yue let out a soft groan. “Not here.”
Fan moved away, sighing. “I miss our alone time… a lot.”
“we will do all those naughty things after we get our home back,” Yue whispered patting his heated cheeks. He then made sure to wipe the saliva stains off his neck and walked in.
The first thing he saw was that Murong Shao was up and talking softly with a smile on his face.
As soon as they entered the room, his soft brown eyes fell on them. They widened ever so slightly. “y-Yue… why are you covered in blood?!” he climbed down from the bed falling to the ground weakly.
“Oh child, careful.” Zou Nui rushed to lift him up but she was too weak to help him. “Yue come help,”
Yue walked up to him and held his hand out to him.
With a soft smile musing Shao held his hand.
Yue pulled him up and placed him onto the bed. “Why did you even try to get up? don’t your ember just a few hours ago bleeding out on the ground?”
Murong Shao still had that goofy smile on his face. “Yeah, but I’m alive,”
“No,” Yue arranged his duvet. “you’re lucky.”
If he had been any minute late in finding Murong Shao and his grandmother they both would have died in that prison cell. all he would have found was a dead corpse.
He hit Murong Shao’s head. “Tell me, what is going on in this base. Why did you allow human testing to happen? That too on kids.”
Murong Shao gulped and sat up.
Yue pushed him down on the bed again with a glare. “Answer me while lying down. From the beginning please,”
Shao closed his eyes. “Initially when our plane landed here, we only had five people who survived the crash. But this place was a prison. It was hard dealing with hardened criminals. it only got worse when I saved the kids from the orphanage close by. I couldn’t just leave them there. I brought them here. but that sparked a lot of scuffles.”
“That was when I realized, if I don’t take things under control everything will end up in chaos. By the first year of this apocalypse, I took the base under my control, chasing the criminals out of this place. Everything was good for a while… but we ran dry. Not many kids awakened powers. We had a lot of mouths to feed. Even a weekly run for the search of food did not find any benefits.”
“I was desperate. That was when I found him…” he tightly closed his eyes. “I thought we were saved…. But I didn’t realize he had been doing some inhuman research behind my back. when I found out about it, I put a stop to it. or so I thought. The kids actively sought his help to gain powers. They wanted to help me; you see. Those kids are angels…. I didn’t want anything to happen to them. I Fought with him…… I chased him away… but the hunger problems still prevailed.”
“We were literally eating cardboard….”
“But he knocked on our doors again. This time with a miracle way to raise a crop, to raise cows….”
“I was tempted,” he silently was crying at this point. “Yue I swear I was with him during every test. The children…. They went through pain, but they gained something out of it. each and every single one of them is a powerful and kind soul. I swear by it.”
Yue gazed at him silently. “We plan to leave this base and reclaim our home. Will you come with us along with the kids…”
“Yes! Yes…… but I would like to ask the kids for their opinion.”
Yue smiled. “Good. We might leave in three or four days. Let them know… oh tie your head and other parts of your body with a bandage and walk with a limp. We can’t have anyone know we have a powerful healer with us,”
Shao nodded. “I would like the thank the healer.”
“No need.” Yue walked over to his dad and picked up sleeping Zara and Chen from his arms. Little Trexa hiding in his coat pocket jumped on his pant legs “get some good sleep. We will be in the next room. Tian will stay guard at the first half and ill take over.”
