Crossdressing To Survive An Apocalypse - Chapter 376: The Move
Yue and the others hurried into the isolation room. As soon as he was away from the crowd he could not control his trembling. He had heard those words. that did not seem like an empty threat.
From that distance, he could feel the power emanating from him. He would at least be a level ten or level zombie. He had never met a zombie, that powerful before. If Liwei had wanted, he could easily kill him right then and there.
But it seemed like he liked playing the run-and-catch game with him.
He could not rest until he had completely destroyed everything he loved.
Including his home.
Yue gazed at the base members with a deep frown. ‘I can’t implicate them. We.,… we have to leave.” he gripped Fan’s hand. “We have to leave.” He whispered as soon as they were in the closed isolation rooms.
Everyone gazed at him with a small frown.
“What do you mean Yue? Uncle Wen gently held his stiff shoulders. “What happened?”
“Liwei… he is after me. He will kill everyone.” he broke down in panic. “Fan we must run. As far as we can. We can’t stay here. the others will be hurt… we have to leave…. let’s run. Pack your bags.” He hurried Chen as well.
“Yue,” Fan hugged him tightly. “Calm down please… that was not Liwei.”
“It was him! I saw him… don’t you guys see him?” Yue looked up at Fan in shock.
“That zombie as too far. He can’t be Liwei. we saw him torn to pieces,”
“Come on sewed him together!!” Yue hit Fan’s shoulders with a first. “Believe me. I heard him. He wants revenge. Fan I can’t lose you all. I can’t. We have to run. Run as far as we can… maybe I should be alone. Maybe then he will only come after me…”
“Yue!” Fan shook him. “don’t even think about it. You are not going anywhere alone.” He hugged him tightly. “Calm down please let’s discuss how to mitigate this risk okay? We have been through so much. We can defiantly survive Liwei.”
Yue was still not convinced.
“We… we have to split up.” Yue gazed up at him. “we have to. we will implicate others. If we leave this place will be safe. Lilly is here. she can keep them safe.”
Fan gazed at the others. Uncle Wen frowned slightly but Tian nodded at him agreeing with Yue’s idea. “The soldiers?”
“They can come with us if they wish to.” uncle Wen sighed loudly. “ill call the team leaders and ask their opinion.”
“Hmm… about the civilians?” Juda held Tian’s hand tightly.
“They have already gone wild. Even if we take them with us, it will only cause chaos. Plus, Liwei is after us. He will likely follow us rather than spend his time tracking out this base. They will be safe here.” Fan said resolutely. “Shao is the only person I’m doubtful of.”
“I’ll call him here,” Tian left in a hurry.
Ten minutes later hao came in with a small smile. “Settled down the little girl. The kids seem to like her a lot. they even gifted her a few toys.”
Sensing the grim expression, he paused. “it’s about that zombie isn’t’ it?”
“We are planning on leaving. Are you willing to come with us?”
Shao stumbled around trying to find words to speak. “The kids… they are too young to travel. They… they won’t last outside. Its….”
“It’s decided then,” Fan gazed at Yue who was still trembling. “We shall leave on daybreak. We will leave behind the supplies. I suggest you raise a wall between the two prion bases. The civilians will start to rowdy in a while. The children might be implicated.”
Shao let out a deep breath. “Where do you guys’ plan to go?
“Somewhere south. Maybe City V. I heard it was wiped out completely by the meteor. We might be able to reestablish ourselves there.”
“I agree to this,” Hary immediately agreed to this. his worried gaze fell on his lover. Prisitsky had an intense need for meteorite stones as s substance. If they reach city v they might have a huge supply for him. “Uncle Wen I suggest you talk to your soldiers as soon as you can.”
Uncle Wen left the room with a grin look on his face.
The rest of them calmed down and talked about how they were going top spilt the food stock. Right now, they dint have much food storage with them. Only the hastily packed stuff in Juda’s space was left for them.
They planned on leaving fifty percent of it with the civilians. Equally splitting them between this base and the other prison base. This pack included raw seeds as well. If they settle down, they can definitely cultivate the seeds for food as the other base was doing. But it all depends on them.
Uncle Wen came back after a few minutes with a deep frown. “Only twenty are willing to come with us.”
“that’s okay. The soldiers staying here would be for the better. Tian, appoint two leaders who you trust to take care of the food stock. they should be powerful and responsible people.”
Without a leadership this place would be a mess for sure, so Fan arranged for Tian to choose an appropriate soldier to lead. The one who is in sync with the others and the one who had a leadership ability. and when leave they would have to manage this place by themselves.
Everything was ready.
Juda left half of the food supply which filled up all twenty isolation cells.
They left the base.
And by now the two prison bases were parted by a huge metal wall. standing on top of it. He had a melancholic look on his face.
“We will meet again,” he shouted with a small grin. “So, you better live.”
Yue gazed up with a small smile. “So must you. I will come back to mooch off of you.”
“You can defiantly do that.” Shao laughed loudly and waved them off as they drove out.
But all of a sudden, their car wouldn’t move. It was like it was stuck on something.
Everyone looked back.
It was the little zombie girl. She was holding the back of the car, making it impossible to move.
She jumped into the car with ease and sat because Tian with the bunny toy in hand.
“Looks like she is coming with us.” Tian gazed at her with a smile.
Yue nodded. “Let’s go,”
