Crystalline Universe: Team Fortress 2 Overwatch - Volume 3: Crystalline Universe: Bloodline's Curse Chapter 57 Lapidazione Part 2
As Lapidazione kept the notorious video on the play while he searched for Mike, the young man gradually surfaced his head out of the molten rock. As he was surfacing, the blood on his face was gradually washed off by the lava flowing around his head.
[Lapidazione] (angerly) – “Come on! Mike G H.y.m.e.n, where the f.u.c.k are you, you p.u.s.s.y! Need more detail about your wife for you to come out? ”
[Mike, in his mind] – (“What would his weakness be? He can absorb my power and use it against me… but what if… “)
Using his power, Mike lifted a microscopic piece of obsidian and sent the piece crashing into the executioner’s back. To Mike’s surprise, the stone pierced through the man’s armour and caused a small wound on his back.
[Lapidazione] – “Ow! What… ”
Lapidazione suddenly turned around and launched an energy charge toward Mike’s direction. The young man rapidly exited the boiling liquid and formed a shield around himself.
The huge blast blew Mike away into the distance like the effect of a tornado on a balloon.
[Lapidazione] (enthusiastically) – “There you are, you little coward! Come over here! ”
Like a missile on the flight, the executioner dashed toward Mike’s position with a charged fist. The crystals on Mike’s forearms glowed with a fiery blue and a shield with 3 layers formed in front of the young man.
Lapidazione smashed Mike’s shield in a fierce collision that devastated the water around them. While Mike held on to the man’s attack, he liberated one of his arms and created an invisible path toward the ocean floor.
[Mike, in his mind] – (“At least now I know your weakness… you can’t absorb or defend the places you don’t focus on and I have a way to defeat you. “)
Abruptly, Mike fell like a lightning bolt toward the sea and through the air tunnel, he made his way down under the ocean floor.
[Lapidazione] (surprised) – “What the… Trying to escape? ”
In a swift movement, Lapidazione pulled the hologram projector out of his pocket once more.
[Lapidazione] (in a delightful voice) – “I gotta say, Mike G. H.y.m.e.n, Kadyn has such a nice ass. I rubbed my d.i.c.k around it while I bit her big fox ears. And on top of that… ”
[Mike] – “Are you done bitching around or will we fight? ”
In a huge explosion below the executioner’s feet, Mike flew beyond Lapidazione’s head with a punch while the ocean around him flew up like colossal teeth trying to swallow everything in its grasp.
In full readiness, Lapidazione tried to absorb Mike’s attack but instead, the energy went around him and shattered the ground, sending the soil and stones flying around him.
Before the executioner could do anything, he was buried under the enormous amount of water and soil that fell on top of him.
Now in total darkness, Lapidazione has completely lost his sense of direction and with a blind punch, he made a hole through the thick layers of sand.
Once out of obscurity, Lapidazione found himself trapped inside an icosahedron in the sea.
[Lapidazione] (confused) – “What in god’s name is this? ”
[Mike] – “This is your doom! ”
[Lapidazione] (enraged) – “My doom? Did you say my doom, you naive little bitch? ”
[Mike] – “You are a fool from the start! You could have killed me but you decided to provoke me by using the most heinous method a human being could ever think of. ”
[Lapidazione] (angerly) – “Do you hear yourself speak? A fool? Me? You are the fool who couldn’t protect your wife from this world! You call me a fool? I say you are the true fool here! ”
[Mike] – “I managed to deceive you, steal your watch and insult your mother on the spot. You are facing against someone who can manipulate the very fabric of reality. ”
[Lapidazione] – “Don’t start a game with me, come and face me if you are a man! ”
[Mike] – “What’s the rush? So impatient to feel what’s despair and fear? ”
To the executioner’s shock, his reflexion appeared on every surface of the icosahedron. Soon, Lapidazione saw what appear as Mike coming from toward him face to face but he knew there should be a trick.
Suddenly, a shark jumped out of one of the frames and tried to bit him on the shoulder. With a rapid kick, Lapidazione moved the shark out of the way just for jellyfish to fall on top of his head.
Frustrated and in a state of panic, the executioner turned around only to see Mike standing in front of him behind the reflective panel.
[Lapidazione, in his mind] – (“No, he couldn’t be face to face with me, he must be planning an attack behind me! This is his reflexion but behind me! “)
Lapidazione swiftly turned his back but he was wrong. Mike stepped out of the mirror behind him and in a delicate and quiet motion, chopped off both of the executioner’s forearms.
[Lapidazione] (in pain and surprise) – “AAAaargh! ”
As both of his arms along with his crystals fell on the ground, Mike slapped him so hard that his tooth fell out his mouth. Now on the floor, spitting blood, Lapidazione tasted his first dose of fear in front of the young man’s might.
In a quick motion, Mike pulled out the hologram projector containing the nauseating video from Lapidazione’s pocket, crushed the device and shoved the debris inside the executioner’s mouth.
By pressing his hand against the man’s mouth, Mike forced him to swallow the crushed projector.
Lapidazione hastily spat out of disgust the pieces he still had in his mouth alongside a slim stream of blood.
[Lapidazione] (in fear) – “Mike Hym… I mean Mundy, we can tal… ”
All the while remaining in silence, Mike kicked Lapidazione in the crotch so hard that blood started to flow through his pants.
[Lapidazione] (in pure agony) – “Aaaaaaaaaargh! God! Da….mn!!!! Aaaaaargh! ”
[Mike] – “Mike G. H.y.m.e.n, huh? Why are you the one bleeding through your v.a.g.i.n.a? ”
Without a sound, the executioner collapsed on the ground, having passed out from the shared pain.
Mike hastily stopped the man’s bleeding and injected him with a serum which woke him up a few seconds later.
[Lapidazione] (in a panic) – “Ah! What do you want from me? You already massacred my genital, can you spare me now? Please, I beg of you! ”
Lapidazione’s blood turned cold as he saw Mike’s merciless look in his eyes.
[Mike] (coldly) – “Pathetic! ”
The executioner suddenly felt a sharp pain down his toes and when he looked, his feet were gradually turning into fluids.
[Lapidazione] (in pure fear) – “What are you doing to me? I beg of you, I plead for you, spare me! ”
The man’s begging was only met with Mike’s emotionless eyes that meant nothing more than the cold word of judgement.
[Mike] (coldly) – “Molecular disintegration, every molecule forming your cell are being torn apart one by one until there is nothing left to your existence. ”
Lapidazione immediately fell to Mike’s feet and kissed the young man’s boots in a desperate face.
[Lapidazione] (in agony and fear) – “Mighty emperor, please, spare me, don’t do this to me, I beg of you. I will tell you where Kadyn is! ”
The executioner burst into tears as his suffering was tearing his mind apart.
[Mike] (coldly) – “Where is she then? ”
[Lapidazione] (in a painful scream) – “She’s in Japan, Tokyo! AAAAAaaaargh! ”
[Mike] (coldly) – “Hey, since you said life is a comedy then why this painful face? Why aren’t you laughing at this tragedy? ”
Lapidazione could only let his tears flow as he was too paralyzed by the pain to even talk. With a single step, Mike crushed the man’s head like melon before completely dissolving his body into a puddle of molecules.
[Mike] – “This is power! Out of all the bullshit you were bragging about, you never proved a point. You only proved that you are a forgettable piece of garbage. ”
As Mike left, the gore left was slowly lost in the vast ocean, eaten by fish or dissolved in water.
*Later
Azur sat in front of the speechless Mike while enjoying a hot cappuccino in silence.
A car passed in front of the cafe’s windows while splashing the mushy snow everywhere around the sidewalk. The restaurant’s light shined upon Mike’s empty glass on the table.
[Azur] – “You seem fine even after that huge of fight I gotta say. ”
Mike ignored Azur while having his eyes closed, arms crossed and sitting in a dead silence on his chair.
[Azur] – “Thanks for bringing me here by the way… this gotta be the best cappuccino I never tasted. ”
With still no response from the young man, Azur quietly took another sip from her cup.
[Mike] – “All the bones from my fingers to the ribs are broken, I’m just using my ability to move. ”
[Azur] (shocked) – “Oh! Um… this must be your worst injury yet. ”
[Mike] – ” *Sign* ”
[Azur] – “Still no result on Kadyn’s traces? ”
[Mike] – “No… Maybe I just don’t care anymore. I think she’ll be better off without me, I’m a failure as a husband. I let her suffer, I let her drown in despair, I don’t deserve her. ”
Azur suddenly put her mug on the table in shock from Mike’s response.
[Azur] (In a confused expression) – “You don’t care? ”
[Mike] – “I assume that I shouldn’t even see her again. I won’t rescue her, this way, she’ll be separated from the monster that is me. ”
[Azur] (surprised) – “Woah! Do you hear yourself speak? You, Mike, literally the most devoted man I have ever seen in my life, suddenly giving up? I think you are mistaken, you are no monster, you are a matchless man, what happened to you? ”
[Mike] – “Oh god, do you hear your bloody nonsense? You don’t even f.u.c.k.i.n.g know me! ”
[Azur] – “If I had a husband like you, my life would be complete. Why are you constantly lowering yourself? Have some faith in yourself, man! ”
[Mike] (in a frustrated manner) – “I have a lot of mental breakdowns! I often turn violent against my will and I often speak to myself like a total madman! Now, are you still in your wet dream? ”
[Azur] – “No one’s perfect! ”
Mike’s secretly glanced at Azur with a suspicious look in his eyes and an uneasy feeling.
Meanwhile, Azur’s heart raced in her chest as she quietly thought about what she should say next.
[Azur] (in a nervous voice) – “Maybe I can help you, you must be alone, right? I can provide you with some companionship. I mean… ”
All of a sudden, Mike stood up from his seat and stared at Azur with a pair of furious eyes.
[Mike] (in an angry voice) – “Azur Ameri, don’t try anything funny with me! I won’t hesitate to show you how much of a sick f.u.c.k I am if you pissed me off, so stay in your lane! ”
The girl remained in a state of shock and stillness as she stared back at the young man with her round blue eyes. Mike took a second to calm down while an awkward silence stood between the two of them.
[Mike] (in a serious tone) – “Search Tokyo for me next, please. Afterward, you and your team can have some rest time while we process everything sent to us by Karson. ”
With a sudden turn of his back, Mike left the cafe, leaving Azur alone in her seat.
[Azur, in her mind] – (“I screw up again… why I’m only good at ruining everything. I have to keep this mouth closed in the future, god damn it. “)
With a rapid sip, Azur emptied her cup’s content and put on her winter clothes.
[Azur] – “No matter what, I will help you find Kadyn, Mike. You helped me when I was helpless, now I will do anything in my power to pay you back. ”
After putting on her hood, the girl left the cafe in a new quest to find answers.
