“FUCK” cursed Mo Feng.

Then only he remembered something, snakes can detect people by their body heat. Realising this, he cursed himself for his carelessness of not thinking things through.

He immediately left his hiding place, jumped down the tree and started running towards the other side of the snake.

He also had a little hope that the snake will let him go considering him as a weak person since he is only at the Qi cleansing stage.

When he looked back while escaping, he knew he was clearly wrong. The Blue Snake left all those dead wolf beasts and chased after him. He didn’t know whether it was because it felt a threat from him or if it thought human is tastier than wolves, but the fact is that damn snake is coming for him.

What made him even more depressed was, it is faster than him while chasing after him and gaining on him.

He turned around pushed his limit to the fullest and rushed into the forest.

But just after he pushed to him limit, a fierce wind came behind him along with a foul smell.

Mo Feng turned back sharply, and saw the giant blue snake which was thicker than him is right behind him. It already opened its mouth wide open and was about to bite him with a cold light in its eyes.

The foul smell is coming from its big mouth, and he could see blue colored fangs getting close to him. From the color of the fangs, he was sure they were poisonous.

Mo Feng put pressure into his legs, and his body flickered to the side and he jumped up to a tree avoiding the attack of giant blue snake. The snake missed him and bit and tore off the tree, and with a chunk missing, tree broke off and fell.

Mo Feng felt a cold shiver in his back realising how strong the black snake is, and was glad he acted quick and avoided the attack.

Even though the attack failed, it looked like the giant blue snake apparently did not want to give up. It coiled its body and sprung up with force with its mouth opened with the same foul smell, going directly for Mo Feng’s head.

“Fuck! Do you take me for a coward and keep attacking” Mo Feng got furious by now because he was sure he can’t escape the snake and it also came relentlessly came after him.

He knew the only way was to fight it. He flicked his sleeve a small light went out straight for the giant blue snake’s eyes.

The light blade was fast and touched the eyes of the giant snake, and the giant blue snake’s body became stagnant.

Seeing this, Mo Feng became happy for a second, but the next moment he saw that the snake used its eyelids to cover its eyes in the last moment and the dart he threw simply bounced off and fell down.

Even though the snake reacted in time, it still felt the pain in its eyes and it became angry.

Mo Feng also didn’t expect the snake’s body to be so strong that even the eyelids can block the attack of his dart, when the wolves can’t handle them early.

Mo Feng was so concentrated on attacking the snake’s head; he failed to see the attack from its tail. He was clearly not experience in fighting and he also knows this fact. This is also one of his reasons for him to come to this mountain range for training.

He got up slightly swaying when he heard a whoosh sound and a blue flash coming towards him, He immediately ducked behind the tree and the tail hit the tree and tree shook violently behind.

Gritting his teeth, he immediately got up again and ran into the nearby place which was filled with lots of trees. He knew he can’t win fighting the giant blue snake directly; he didn’t have strong enough cultivation or the experience to fight the snake. So his only choice was to use the trees as protection to sneak attack the snake.

Despite his pain, he moved fast and entered the dense area of trees before the snake reached him. Now he at least don’t have to worry about the tail attack.

He didn’t stop and moved further deep and hid behind a tree, even though he knew it won’t stop the giant snake form finding him.

The reason he hid himself is because he thought of something and wanted to confirm his thoughts. He opened his interface and checked the skill technique he got yesterday after he completed the mission.

Tang sect Hidden weapons technique (Level 1) – Human level peak grade technique (27/30): Hidden weapons technique from the Tang sect. Increases damage for throwing type weapons, deals 2X damage when the opponent is unaware of the attack. Damage, accuracy, and speed of the attack increases as the technique levels up. Current techniques available: Silent Sleeve Dart, Cluster soul chasing ball.

Mo Feng was so excited when he got the technique yesterday. It was one of his favourite novel and he loved Tang sect’s hidden weapon techniques. He never expected he would receive the technique, not only did he receive the technique but the random gift provided him with 100 sleeve darts and 10 Cluster soul chasing bell.

In his excitement yesterday he didn’t clearly see the details, but now he noticed an important fact “deals 2X damage when the opponent is unaware of the attack.”

‘Isn’t this the best place to use this and get double damage. With tress all around I can easily sneak attack that damn snake.’ Mo Feng thought and his mood became a bit better.

He poked his head out and saw the snake was already nearing him. He started a sprint and hid behind another tree for a second, and again moved to another tree. He kept moving like this for a whole minute to dull the vigilance of the giant blue snake.

After a minute, he used his hiding ability of Shadow steps and moved silently behind the back of the snake quickly and threw a spear with his full force. He not only threw the spear with full force, but on a hunch he used the technique od silent dart mixed with the attack.

As expected, the sound of the spear rushing at the snake reduced significantly and the giant blue snake failed to notice the attack.

The spear not only attacked the snake without it noticing, it also pierced through the scales of the snake and lodged into the snake. Giant blue snake hissed in paint and thrashed; it tried to remove the spear with its mouth but couldn’t because of pain.

Mo Feng was shocked by the damage caused by the attack. He didn’t expect 2X damage will cause such damage to the snake. He was delighted and immediately hid himself.

For the next 15 minutes, he moved around and made many attacks and had 5 successful sneak attacks. Now the snake looked a little miserable with 5 spear extending from its body and there are few more places with slight injuries and bleeding.

The Giant snake also got infuriated by him and started using its tail to crash all the trees taking out his advantage.

Mo Feng knew he can’t keep up with the same strategy for a long time. Suddenly he thought of his first attack and his eyes became bright.

He immediately rushed out of his hiding lace and attacked the snake’s eyes with his hidden dart like the last time. It got angry seeing him, and realising his attacks. It closed the eyelids and sent an attack to his position.

Mo Feng moved back used his movement technique, but before he moved back he made a movement with his sleeve again and the snake didn’t notice it because it closed its eyes already.

The giant blue snake felt the dart hitting its eyelids and falling down, and opened its eyes but didn’t expect another dart so close to its eyes. However fast its reaction was, it still failed to react in time and the dart entered its eyes and gushing sound came.

The Giant snake thrashed left and right in pain and Mo Feng stopped in the distance to look back at the snake thrashing with a smile on his face.

With one eye gone, the snake went berserk and attacked everything around it with ferocity. But Mo Feng didn’t rush and moved around to slowly make sneak attacks on the snake reducing its vitality little by little.

Finally after almost one hour, he finally heard three continuous system prompts which made him relieved.
