He was happy that he improved again, but the next moment when he saw the final sentence and the EXP needed to reach the Qi acquiring stage his mood went down again and cursed the system for messing with him.

But eventually he sighed and calmed down. Whatever happens, he needs to gain 50,000 points and reach Qi acquiring 1st stage before the end of the 7th day.

After checking the interface, he applied medicine to his injured parts, and got up. Even though he still felt pain all over his body and felt tired, he knew it is not a good idea to stay here. He kept the Giant snake body in his space bag and left the place.

Soon, he found a big tree which can hide him well and climbed on it. He hid himself well, and first used his skill points to level up Triple Thrust fist to level 4 and Tang Sect’s hidden weapon technique to Level 2.

He need to earn lot of EXP in the next few days so he needed to strengthen himself as much as he can. Once he done with it, he sat down and started circulating [Godly Elephant Prajna Scripture]. Thanks to his level up, his Qi value is full again and he can use it to practice the scripture which will also help in his recovery.

At the same time Mo Feng started practicing, a group of 10 people in dark armour reached the place where Mo Feng fought the Giant blue snake.

The man looked at the destroyed place asked the person next to him without turning back “What do you think?”

If Old man Mo was here, he can tell who this is, it is the shadow that always hid behind Old man Mo, Leader of the shadow guards of the Mo family, Mo Yan, and the rest are part of the shadow guards sent by Old man Mo to protect Mo Feng.

3 hours later, Mo Feng opened his eyes his injures almost healed and he felt refreshed. He got up and looked deep into the Red mountain range. He knew he had to venture deeper and only hunt all mid-grade monster beasts to be able to reach the needed EXP in time to reach the Qi Acquiring stage.

He made his decision moved along trees entering deep into the forest region of Mid-grade beasts.

3 days later.

Mo Feng was fighting with a monster beast on its four legs with a big horn in its head. It looked similar to Rhinoceros on Earth, but much bigger and more ferocious. Mo Feng was fighting it with one hand holding his knife and another hand holding a throwing spear.

He is moving around the monster beast attacking it from all directions with an excited face. He is nothing like he was 3 days ago. Even though he did not became an expert in fighting, he was well aware of his surroundings, his attack timings and evading the attack of the monster beasts are much better.

The reason for Mo Feng’s excitement is, he is sure with killing this Rhinoceros monster beast; he will be able to reach the 50,000 EXP and became a Qi Acquiring martial artist.

At first, he was doubtful of able to become Qi acquiring martial artist in 7 days but now he was so close. All this related to Minor shadow steps which has a hidden ability, especially in the dark places. With trees covering most of the forest not letting the moonlight into the forest, plus the hidden weapon techniques, it was like giving wings to a tiger and Mo Feng killed several monster beast groups and went on a killing spree.

He also reached 370/500 in [Godly Elephant Prajna Scripture] and he should be able to reach Level 1 by the next day.

Apart from practicing [Godly Elephant Prajna Scripture] and eating, he spent rest of the time killing monster beasts and gaining EXP.

As a result of it, his basic knife technique reached 4th stage, Minor shadow steps, Triple Thrust fist, and Tang Sect’s hidden weapon technique crossed the halfway limit to reach the next stage without using any skill points.

Rhinoceros monster beast bent a little and rushed at him with its horn facing front. When it neared him, Mo Feng effortlessly sidestepped and slashed its side with one hand and used the other hand to attack its eyes.

The attack didn’t damage its eyes since their skin are quite tough, but he didn’t care; he put one leg at its side and used the force to push himself upwards, and while in the air, he threw the spear in his hand with full force.

With his force, and the distance gained it gained momentum and reached its eye. This time it didn’t get stopped by the thick hide and entered its eyes, but not too deep.

But Mo Feng’s attack is not over yet.

After he reached certain height in the air, he started falling down. He took out a huge hammer out of his space bag which he made from a monster beast he killed, and used the gravity and his own force to slam the hammer on the other end of the throwing spear.

Spear went too deep and damaged its eye and brain. Even though he took all these actions, it took only few seconds to happen. The Rhinoceros monster beast moved a few more steps, fell down and dragged in the ground and stopped after few metres.

“System prompt: Congratulations to Player for killing Level 4 Mid-grade monster beast, Iron Horned Rhinoceros, get 1000 EXP!”

“System prompt: Congratulation for Player to become Qi Acquiring 1st stage martial artist. EXP needed to reach next stage – 0/60,000!”

Seeing the system prompt, Mo Feng had a wide smile on his face but when he checked the experience points he was confused. He had only 300 points to reach Qi Acquiring stage before killing the Iron Horned Rhinoceros, and he should have 700 EXP points, but the experience is at zero.

He was wondering what sort of scheme the system came up with now, and as he thought he heard another system prompt sound and he had an uneasy feeling in his heart.

“System prompt: Since the Player has reached Qi Acquiring stage and haven’t completed the current mission, the player won’t be able to gainy any EXP until completing the mission.”

Seeing the last system prompt, Mo Feng cursed in his heart.
