Few kilometers away from where Mo Feng was cultivating, few silhouettes blended in shadows without releasing any aura patiently waiting.

A few moments later, around 20 black masked man rushed to their direction. The shadows waited until they move across them and attacked them from behind. They moved like phantom and reaped the lives of the masked men.

The masked men got flustered and fled in different directions and the shadows chased after them.

Only two shadows fell from a large tree, and looked at the scene without chasing anyone.

One of the shadows said “They are keeping come for the past two day. Is it Lin family? But how did they knew about us?”

“I doubt Lin family has these many people, and even if they had I doubt they are willing to sacrifice all of them just to get to the Young master. Something else is happening here.”

The lead shadow paused and continued “Moreover, their fighting styles are like ruffians, but at the same time not. I can only think of one group in red Mountain city to act this way.”

These two are Mo Yan and his subordinate, shadow guards that are protecting Mo Feng for the past five days in the Red Mountain range. Two days ago, a group of masked people came in their search range. The shadow guards first ignored them, but later found they moved in the direction of their young master’s training area and intercepted them.

When the masked people saw the black shadows, they didn’t even respond to the shadow guards and started attacking without hesitation. So the shadow guards ended up killing them, and when they tried to interrogate them, the remaining killed themselves.

Shadow guards thought it was over, but in the past two days they have five groups like them including the current one.

The subordinate asked “You mean the Ouroboros gang? Did the Lin clan hire them again?”

Mo Yan shook his head “I doubt so, not just now, even the last time when they attacked the young master I think it’s the Ouroboros Gang who pushed Lin Huang to act and not the other way around.”

“Old master Mo and I had some clues about the Ouroboros gang leader and found he has some support from the capital city, and he is an extremely careful and calculative person. Such a person won’t be moved by the head of Lin family to act for others, much less Lin Huang. So we came to the conclusion it is the Ouroboros gang that took the initiative to try to kill the young master previously.”

“Is the Ouroboros gang seriously that powerful Leader Yan?”

“We were not sure. That is the reason Old leader Mo retaliated more against the property of Ouroboros gang than the Lin family properties to see how they react or to get a reaction from the person behind Ouroboros gang.”

“But I didn’t expect they would come after Young master in here than going against the Mo family. It’s like they care more about killing Young master Mo than acting against our Mo family.”

“Did Young master Mo act against the Ouroboros gang? Or infuriate the person behind them?” the subordinate asked.

“No, Young master Mo have never offended them, much less the person behind them. He hasn’t even left the Red mountain city since he was born.”

“Moreover, they are targeting young master not just once but twice, and that too without caring about so many of their people’s life. So I think there is something big at play here and it revolves around Young master Mo. In fact, I would not be surprised if the leader of Ouroboros gang came personally now with the way they are reacting.”

As soon as Mo Yan finished speaking, a jeering voice came from the forest “Indeed! As the leader of shadow guards, the shadow who always follow Old master Mo, you are quite clever and thought through these many things. You even guessed I will come to take the life of your young master!”

Mo Yan and his subordinate immediately got ready into attack position with shock on their face looking at the amicable looking middle aged man who emerged from the forest.

Mo Yan didn’t expect the mysterious leader of the Ouroboros gang to come in front of him, much less he didn’t look anything like a leader of notorious gang like Ouroboros gang which is cruel, bloodthirsty and involved in every evil act there is like murder, ****, theft, kidnapping, etc., Even mountain bandits are considered nice people compared to this gang.

But even though they did so many evil things, no one was able to touch them.

Few years back, the city lord of Red Mountain city, Zhang Ruochen and his Zhang family along with all other four families, after receiving information about the location of the headquarters of Ouroboros gang launched a combined attack.

When they found the location, the place was completely empty and looked like the information was leaked. But when they were on their family mansion with frustration of the failed attack, what they didn’t expect was all five families were ambushed and more than half of the members of each were killed.

Before they could even they calm down from the chaotic situation, the members of Ouroboros gang left. And the attack continued twice before every family reached their own mansion. The losses were heavy; of course it was not their main forces specially trained by each family, yet the loss was heavy for all five families.

It not only made people shocked in the Red Mountain city, but even in the nearby cities.

From this, they understood how resourceful and cunning the leader of Ouroboros gang is, and he didn’t even make an appearance until the end yet they suffered so much because of him. This resulted in him getting the name ‘Silent Slaughterer.’

Since then, the 5 families silently agreed not to retaliate against the Ouroboros gang unless they attack their family members.

Even though he was a little apprehensive on the inside, Mo Yan still maintained a calm face asked “Why are you targeting our Young master Mo?”

Hong Lingwan since he made the small speech when he came in front of them, he just stood there with a serene face with a slight smile and observing them. He didn’t respond to them either.

He suddenly disappeared right in front of their eyes and the next moment, he appeared right in front of both of them and a fist appeared in front of each of them in mere seconds.

Mo Yan got angry seeing this; even though the other person is more powerful than him, he didn’t like the fact the other party fought with him using movement speed.

He immediately took a dagger on each of his hands and slashed at the fist coming at him and his subordinate, but the fist opened and clawed the daggers in teh last moments and spearks flew when the two met.

Mo Yan was astounded that Hong Lingwan had cultivated his hands to the level of they are as strong as iron.

Even though both of the attack failed, Mo Yan slightly sneered.

Because his subordinate, slashed with his own dagger at the chest of Hong Lingwan from the side which is the perfect chance since both his hands are occupied.

But the next moment, seeing the face of his opponent, Mo Yan had a bad feeling and signaled for his subordinate to retreat.

But it was too late, since at the moment Hong Lingwan steadied his stance with one leg and swiped the other leg on the side of Mo Yan’s subordinate.

The attack collided but it didn’t push the subordinate with the attack, but his leg punctured his abdomen area from the sides. The subordinate put his hands on Hong Lingwan’s leg and retreated while clutching his abdomen.

He looked down at his wound, and not only was it bleeding but the area around it became purple.

Mo Yan and his subordinate immediately focused on Hong Lingwan’s leg and found his nails are sharp and its is dark purple in color.

Mo Yan cursed in his heart ‘I have heard of people training their hands with poison but never legs and having sharp nails. This leader of Ouroboros is crazy and unpredictable.’

He looked at his subordinate; his subordinate understood and made a weird hand signal with his blood. But his face immediately paled.

A sarcastic sound came out at that time and it was the second time Hong Lingwan spoke “Are you asking your shadow team to come back? Hehehe! Don’t you think there is something wrong?”

The face of Mo Yan and subordinate changed when Hong Lingwan mentioned this, and they realised what is wrong. It shouldn’t take this long for his team to kill all those people, unless?

Hong Lingwan spoke like he knew what Mo Yan was thinking “Your team may be able to kill the regular members, but the elite soldiers of my gang are far more powerful that those lowly guys I added to the gang for filling the gap.”

The complexion of the both changed, and Mo Yan’s subordinate rushed at Hong Lingwan with the intention to stop him and shouted “Go and save Young master leader!!!”

But they didn’t know a big battle had already broken out in Mo Feng’s location!
