He heard few more system prompts following the system prompt for killing Hong Lingwan, but Mo Feng didn’t check it because at the moment he saw Mo Yan standing little distance away and looking at the corpse of Hong Lingwan with wide eyes and mouth agape.

Mo Feng immeidately went to Mo Yan, and when he reached Mo Yan, he saw Mo Yan’s condition is not well. Even though he is standing, his injuries have increased and the poison also spread to more parts of his body. He figured it must be because he fought with the subordinate Hong Lingwan left to take care of Mo Yan.

After confirming the subordinate was killed, Mo Fegn stored Hong Lingwan’s body and all the needles and throwing spears he could find and stored it inside his space bag and left with Mo Yan supporting him, towards the direction of other dead people from Ouroboros gang.

He found there are monster beasts already taking care of the bodies when he reached the place. So he didn’t bother anymore about the bodies of the Ouroboros gang and rushed to the Red Mountain city supporting Mo Yan all the way.

The reason he wanted to collect the bodies was, he didn’t want the rest of the Ouroboros gang and the Hong family to know about the death of their members. If the news released, they will be more careful and he wouldn’t be able to complete his additional mission.

But now he don’t have to worry about it.

He rushed with fulls peed and reached Mo family mansion within four hours. When Old man Mo saw the Mo Yan’s condition adn Mo Feng’s tattered state and blood all over his body and tear in his clothes, he was infuriated.

But Mo Feng calmed him down and informed him about Mo Yan’s current state and asked his grandfather to treat him faster while he went back to his courtyard.

Once he reached his courtyard, he checked the system prompt one by one.

Seeing the system prompt, he figured if he destroyed all the establishments and people of Ouroboros gang in the city, his additional mission will be completed.

“System prompt: Congratulations for the Player for completing the mission. Killing Hong Lingwan before the start of the competition.”

“System prompt: Congratulation for Player to reach Qi Acquiring 5th stage. EXP needed to reach next stage – 112,000/600,000!”

After killing the elite soldiers and Hong Lingwan, he reached Qi Acquiring 4th stage, and with this level up, he reached 6th stage. He checked his dantian and only 16 seals were broken, and he figured just like Qi cleansing stage, EXP and Qi value will increase after 5th stage.

He first checked the system reward, but it was nothing special this time and he received one carton of coke. Even though its not anything special, he was happy about the thought of able to drink coke again.

Then he opened the lottery system.

He found a lottery machine with hundreds of skills in it and a singel lottery ticket on the lottery machine.

He clicked the lottery ticket and system prompt was heard.

Mo Feng clikced the buttom to start the lottery start button and it started rotating fast with various skills, weapons passing through the screen.

Mo Feng knew lottery is dependant on luck; he prayed to all the gods he could remember on Earth and pressed the stop button and the lottery slowed down and finally came to a stop.

“System prompt: Congratulations to player for receiving unique skill: Netherspirit Battlescouter.”

When Mo Feng saw the skill he received, he was very happy. Of course he knew the Netherspirit Battlescouter, which is one of Chen Xiaobei’s skill received from Yanwang in Red envelope group of the three realms. It is used to determine the battle skills of others and it will be very helpful for Mo Feng.

But then another system prompt followed.

“System prompt: Detected compatible bloodline for Netherspirit Battlescouter in Players’ body.”

“System prompt: Using the bloodline and remaining skill points to upgrade Netherspirit Battlescouter to level 2.”

Netherspirit Battlescouter (Level 2) – Unique skill (0/1000): Battlescouter unique skill originated from Underworld. Uses Qi’s related to Underworld to find the information of other cultivators. Currently able to detect Cultivation level, Qi value, and calculated EXP player will receive after killing the cultivator. Player is only able to detect status of people limited to 5 levels above him. After each upgrade, the player will be able to see more status regarding the cultivators and level limit will also increase.

(Note: Level upgrading is possible only by using skill points or by special means.)

Mo Feng was confused by the sudden upgrade. Especially after reading the description that mentioned Qi originalted from underworld and his bloodline compatible with the Netherspirit Battlescouter skill.

He knew what types of Qi are related to underworld like Evil Qi, Blood Qi, Demon Qi, Devil Qi, Hell Qi. etc.,

He knew the Netherspirit Battlescouter got upgraded because his body bloodline containing one of the underworld Qi. He remembered his mother’s mystyerious and powerful background, and decided this bloodline must have come from his mother’s side.

Anyway he wasn’t bothered by it much and instead happy, since because of this bloodline he was able to upgrade the skil to level 2. Now he not only can’t see his own stats but also other’s stats too, to an extent, but he knew he can get more details of everyone’s status if he is able to upgrade the skill further.

While he was checking out his new skill, Hong’er who had disappeared for god knows where finally appeared with food for Mo Feng in her hand and Little Grey was sitting on the shoulder of Hong’er purring.

She was still in her usual cheerful attitude and was happy to see Mo Feng and chatted with him endlessly.

Mo Feng only replied prefunctorily because he wanted to check the Little Grey’s status using Netherspirit Battlescouter.

He activated the skill and concentrated on Little Grey and a status pooped out in front of him.

The reason for his suprise and confusion is when his grandfather found Hong’er many yeards ago as a child, he brought her back to home and checked her capability for cultivation. He found that she is not suitable for cultivation and he decided to let her be in Mo Feng’s courtyard.

Mo Feng also knew this fact, and thats why he was surprised because Companion Battle beast can only form contract with people who cultivate and not with normal people.

When Mo Feng’s thought reached upto this point, he immedaitely looked at Hong’er and concentrated while activating Netherspirit battlescouter skill.

AS he thought, Hong’er started cultivating and her cultivation even skyrocketed to Qi cleansing 6th stage insuch a short time.

This was almost to the spead of Mo Feng, who is cultivating faster with the help of the system.

Mo Feng slowly asked “Hong’er, did you start cultivating?”

Hong’er was shocked at first, and then sweetly smiled “Young master, you are awesome. I didn’t tell anyone and wanted to surprise you after reaching Qi Acquiring level, but you realised I was cultivating as soon as you met me.”

“Congratulations Hong’er. But I don’t uunderstand one thing. Grandfather once told me that you are unable to cultivate. How were you able to cultivate now?”

“I myself don’t know Young master. After you gave me Little Grey that day, Little Grey sent me a mental message that it wanted to be my companion battle beast and also passed on a cultivation technique to me. I cultivated according to it, and I was not only able to easily cultivate but I can cultivate much faster than the others in the family.”

Mo Feng looked at Hong’er and Little Grey, and sighed heavily “Why does it feel like everyone around me is special and has a backstory which will come to trouble me in the future!”
