He was pushed back a few metres and stabilized himself and started attacking again.

‘Just in few seconds my proficiency increased by 10? Is it because of the masked man or the effects of the tower?’ he wondered while engaging in a fight with the masked man. In a few more seconds, he once again got through the defense of the masked man and landed another attack, and he heard the system prompt again.

His skill proficiency increased from 10 to 30 if we trained for a whole night, now in a minute his proficiency increased by 16 which made him change his plans.

At first, he wanted to pass through each floor of the tower faster, but now he was not in any hurry.

He started using all his skills in the fight against the masked man and he got continuous system prompts.

The masked man disappeared into smoke and Mo Feng teleported to the second floor where he met 2 masked man with their strength one stage higher than him. Fighting with two people again started increasing skill proficiency.

Mo Feng spent more than 10 minutes in the second floor before passing to the third floor where he met 3 masked people with same strength as the previous floor.

He took 25 minutes to move to the Fourth floor of the tower. He expected 4 masked man, but instead he found 2 masked man.

The cultivation level of the masked men increased from Qi Acquiring 8th stage to 9th stage.

Mo Fen was surprised for a moment, then he begun the fight with more energy.

While he was fighting inside for an hour already, in the outside of the tower many people have got out of the tower.

Out of all the few thousand who entered the tower, only around 200 people have crossed the fifth floor.

The rest of the people looked depressed with their results but no one left the place and looked at the tower.

Outside the tower, there are light marks on each floor showing how many people are currently in each floor.

Everyone was waiting to know who are the top ten disciples for this year, and what floor Bai Jinghong will reach in the end.

One more hour passed and there are less than 20 people in the tower, and the speed of people passing through the each floor of the tower has slowed down.

The person in the first place is already on the 12th floor and numerous discussions were happening among the audience.

“Bai Jinghong already reached 12th floor. Do you think he will be able to reach the same floor as Long Haotian during his selection test?”

Everyone looked at the light that moved from fourth to fifth floor and made harsh remarks while laughing loudly.

The reason for the commotion is Mo Feng who just reached the fifth floor after close to two hours of entering the tower.

Of course no one knew that it was Mo Feng, but many people noticed that a lone light was shining in the fourth floor for quite a while and rest of the people inside the tower are already in the seventh floor and above which made clear that someone was struggling to pass the selections which resulted in everyone looking down on him.

Two more hours passed and the audience eyes were wide open in shock, not because Bai Jinghong reaching 14th floor successfully or the other 5 people who crossed 10th floor already.

It was because the person who reached the fifth floor started to move up the floor faster and faster and he is already at the nineth floor right now.

They didn’t expect the person who they ridiculed suddenly moved through floors with such speed like he was injected with chicken blood.

‘Usually people slow down as they climb higher floors, but why is this guy the opposite?’ was the audience’s thought and they were speechless with the turn of events.

Inside the tower, 9th floor.

Mo Feng was currently fighting with 5 masked men who are Qi Acquiring 10th stage.

Even though he looked miserable with torn off clothes and numerous cut marks, his eyes are bright and full of battle intent.

After going through fourth floors of the tower, Mo Feng finally understood the reason why the masked men are strong and able to neutralize his attacks.

The masked men are designed to understand his skills and neutralize it, and this was also the reason he was able to gain more proficiency.

The more he fight with them the more he find the flaws and more he understand his skills and its essence easily.

Once he understood how the masked man worked, his speed increased and he started earning lots of proficiency also, but once he got to the higher floors, even though he got lots of skill proficiency, the frequency of receiving skill proficiency increased to every one or two minute. He also understood there was pattern in every each floor.

In the first 3 floors, the masked men were one level higher than him, and started with one person and for each floor one more person added as an opponent.

For the next 3 floors, cultivation of the masked men increased by a stage and the opponent in each floor also increased by one like fourth floor he has 2 opponents which is one more compared to first floor, fifth floor has 3 opponents, one more compared to second floors and so on.

Currently he is in the third set, with the opponents cultivation 3 stages higher than him and number of opponents increased one more in each floor compared to previous 3 stages.

Mo Feng found a flaw and rushed at the masked man in front and thrust his knife in his heart and he turned to smoke and disappear decreasing the number of opponents from 5 to 4.

The next moment he moved sideways and attacked the one in the left, and next moment in different direction and attacked another masked man.

Even though he is moving in different direction, his movements and attacks were flawless and able to defend against them and attack at the same time.

Fighting in the tower not only increased his skill proficiency, but also increased his experience in using all his skills in battle and created a strange battle rhythm.

Previously even though he used all his skills in battle, one could lots of flaws and gaps in his attack when he switched skills, but now the flaws were reduced to the point one has to observe him deeply.

He moved among the masked men with ease and as minutes passed the masked men went up in smoke one by one, and finally the last man went up on smoke and Mo Feng stopped.

He smiled slightly in happiness because even though his cultivation hasn’t increased, his battle strength has increased by multiple times.

He disappeared from the nineth floor in excitement of fighting the Innate Qi Masters in the tenth floor.
