Lin Yun laughed in his heart ‘Hahaha, he is finally hooked and I will make him suffer.’

“We will bet in Fighting Beast arena which was opened recently in the beast pit.” Lin Yun sneered, “Didn’t Young Master Mo Feng say you are doing some research on fighting ability of the Monster Beasts? Then we will each choose one of the basic grade Monster Beast for fighting in the Fighting Beast arena, and we will decide the winner with the fight.”

‘As I thought, this was his plan, then he was doomed for sure.’ Mo Feng thought.

Lin Yun was also confident when he said this because of the middle aged man behind him.

‘Although I don’t know the fighting capability of the Monster Beasts, I have a guard who knew about the Monster Beasts very well. Moreover, he is an Innate Qi master. Can Mo Feng be better than him? He is definitely courting death by agreeing to the bet.’

“What will be the wager Second Young master Lin?” Mo Feng asked casually.

Lin Yun wanted to make a big wager, but he was afraid that Mo Feng will back down.

So he sneered at Mo Feng “I think it’s better for Young Master Mo Feng to decide on the wager. I’m afraid if I make the wager, you won’t be able to afford it.”

It was clear Lin Yun want to agitate Mo Feng to bet big, and Mo Feng also understood Lin Yun’s intentions. But he expected him to do it.

Mo Feng thought of what to wager and he suddenly though of something and his eyes flashed with a bright light, then he turned to Manager Han, who had been silent for a long time.

He asked with a smile on his face, and said, “Manager Han, your Beast Pit has many injured and crippled basic grade Monster Beasts right?”

Manager Han was confused by such a sudden question from Mo Feng, but nevertheless, Manager Han still replied: “Yes, there are quite a lot of such Basic grade Monster Beasts, basically we sell few to restaurants, but most of them are fed directly to the other Monster Beasts that will be used in the Beast pit.”

“Good good” Mo Feng slightly smiled and then said “In fact, my wager is very simple. I will take all the basic grade Monster beasts in the Beast pit that are injured and unable to fight. The loser will pay the bill. I wonder if Second Young master Lin is okay with such a small wager?”

Mo Feng used the same method as Lin Yun, to make sure he can’t back off from the wager.

Mo Feng’s words made Manager Han a little bit unexpected, but he was very pleased. Selling all those injured monster beasts will help him earn quite a bit of sum for the Beast pit, since the number of monster beasts that are injured are not few.

After listening to Mo Feng’s words, Lin Yun’s face also changed slightly. Although the injured monster beasts in the Beast Pit are not very expensive, there are quite a number of them and price will be quite high. But thinking after a while, Lin Yun sneered.

‘What am I even afraid of? He will be the one who will win in the end. And he can arrange a banquet and entertain all the families in the Red Mountain city, after winning all those monster beasts. This will give a good face for the Lin family before becoming a main family.’ Lin Yun thought.

“Okay, I agree” Lin Yun sneered and agreed to the wager.

“Okay, since you agreed Manager Han will bear witness. I believe Second Young Master Lin will not renege on his promise.”

The way Mo Fen spoke it looked like he was afraid Lin Yun would change his mind and he spoke urgently. This realisation made Lin Yun a little uneasy, but then he didn’t care. Because, he believed that the loser will be definitely not him.

Manager Han also thought the way Mo Feng acting is little unusual, but he didn’t care and said with a smile: “Since the two young masters agreed with the bet, so be it. Let’s move to the Beast fighting arena to choose the fighting monster beast.”

They walked and entered a big hall which was filled with lots of cages. The monster beasts in the cage were all of different sizes and wearing a token which isolates their aura. This is done so that it will make the Beast fighting arena more interesting.

Mo Feng let Lin Yun choose first. He chose a Ravaging Lion King type beast which was 3 metres tall and looked ferocious. After it bonded with Lin Yun, it showed a light.

No one noticed that Mo Feng observing the head of the Lion beast after it bonded with Lin Yun.

After that Mo Feng went to select his beast, but seeing what he did next made everyone’s face twitch. He took his knife out and started attacking each cage.

Of-course, he didn’t attack the beasts, but just the cage. He went full round attacking all the cages and finally chose a small grey cat which was little larger than his palm.

Everyone didn’t know what to think of him anymore. The cat looked too weak and fragile compared to the majestic lion, but Mo Feng didn’t care about other looks and he looked very confident in his choice.

Manager Han wanted to say something; he hesitated, but in the end didn’t say anything.

On the other hand, Lin Yun was too happy, and looked like he already won the bet.

He thought ‘I thought that this cripple would have some skills in choosing a good fighting Monster Beast, but I didn’t expect this and worried too much. How could this small and weak cat can be an opponent for the Ravaging Lion King?’

Manager Han was observing Mo Feng and realised he was too calm. He thought about how he acted so far and realised that Mo Feng may not be so simple. Especially when he thought about the Grey cat he took, even though its weak, it was because no one was able to approach since it came here and it didn’t eat any food. There was always a mysterious feeling to it and it looked like Mo Feng was also able to see it.

On the other hand, Second Young Master of the Lin Family is not so bright. He really thinks everyone is beneath him and he didn’t think through everything and gets upset easily because of his pride. He couldn’t help but feel some sympathy for him.

“Ao!”

As Manager Han’s thoughts continued, a roar came.

Manager Han couldn’t help but stop his thinking and started focusing on the Fighting Beast Arena. Although he already guessed the result of the match, he still wants to see the strength of the little Grey cat.

After roaring, the Ravaging Lion King looked at the little Grey cat disdainfully releasing a vicious aura, and rushed at it fiercely.

Just looking at the Ravaging Lion King pouncing on the Grey cat, he was already on high spirits and was looking forward to the scene of grey cat be torn and killed, and humiliating Mo Feng.

But soon, his expression completely froze seeing the next scene.

The little grey cat release any vicious aura or roaring like the Ravaging Lion King, but it suddenly disappeared from its place, and before anyone realise what happened, it appeared right in front of the face of the Ravaging Lion King and slashed its tiny claws on its eyes.

“Slash! Slash!”

Even though the paws of the cat were little, its attack weren’t. It was too fierce and the Ravaging Lion King’s one eye was completely damage. It roared in pain and anger, but the little grey cat didn’t give it a chance. It appeared and disappeared and slashed at the Ravaging Lion King all over its body. In a few breaths’ time, Ravaging Lion King looked like it passed through hell.

It fell on all fours and didn’t dare to move anymore scared of receiving more vicious attacks from the Grey cat. The Grey cat didn’t bother with it, turned around and walked back towards Mo Feng.

Everyone was too dumbfounded and simultaneously looked at Mo Feng, who still had the same confident face with a little smile.

Mo Feng didn’t bother with their looks and thought ‘As I thought, it is the most dangerous monster in the Beast pit.’

It was not at all a coincidence that Mo Feng chose this little Grey cat. Ever since he started killing the livestock yesterday, he noticed something among the monster beasts. Whenever he wanted to kill, or the monster beasts register him as an enemy, they have a color on top of their head. And the intensity of the color ranged from Yellow to Red, based on the danger level of the monster beast. It was just like a game.

The reason he slashed at the cages of the monster beasts earlier was to confirm his verification and also to check which one was more dangerous.

Most of the monster beasts color showed from yellow to orange, but little Grey cat had Red color which he hadn’t seen so far.

The little grey cat came in front of him and looked up at him. He could see the intelligence in its eyes. He smiled and took his hand near it so that it can climb on it, but it jumped on his shoulders and sat on a comfortable position. He smiled and patted its head gently and it purred.

Mo Feng told it gently “I should give you a name, how about Little Grey?”
