30 minutes later, he came across a huge mountain range not far from Red Mountain City – Red Mountain Range.

The mountain ground was red in color, and the tree leaves and barks were also in red color giving the mountain range a mystical aura. This mountain ground and trees are the reason for its name, and for the name of the city because Red Mountain city is the only city near the Red mountain range.

There was a rumour that this phenomenon is because of the blood pool of a dragon existing in the peak at the centre of the Red mountain range which affected the atmosphere of the entire mountain. But it was only considered a rumour since no one has seen the blood pool, or even obtained a drop of dragon blood in the Red mountain range.

But the rumour only got bigger when someone spotted a flood dragon 50 years back, and it was told that it was snake monster beast and become a flood dragon after absorbing the blood from the dragon blood pool.

Rumour or not, the monster beasts in the Red mountain range are more ferocious that any other place in the Longfeng country and this was also attributed to the strange aura of the Red Mountain range.

While he was sorting out his thoughts, he entered the Red mountain range. He didn’t slow down and went deep into the area where peak level Basic-grade monster beasts are active. In the Red mountain range, monster beasts occupied specific areas based on their strength. The deeper you go, the stronger the monster beasts get. Mo Feng completely avoided all the monster beasts he came across on the way.

With his current strength, only Mid-grade demon beasts would be a challenge for him and only the monster beasts at peak level of basic-grade monster beasts or above will give him more experience. So Mo Feng planned to train in the border between basic-grade and mid-grade monster beasts.

He soon reached the border area and turned in a direction where he found some beast activity. But he failed to notice a pair of eyes looking at him leaving the border area from a hidden place.

Mo Feng is moving towards a direction where there were activities of wolf type monster beasts. Wolves hunt in packs and it will be helpful for him to get lots of experience if he kills lots of monster beasts.

When he neared the location, he killed the monster beasts on his way, leaving a trail along the way until he reached the tallest tree in the area. He also collected quite a few monster beasts’ bodies he killed on the way. He put all the bodies under the tree, climbed the tree and waited patiently.

A while later, he heard wolf howling in the distance and few moment later a pack of wolves of 10 approached the tree and started eating the monster beast carcasses.

Mo Feng released few darts hidden in his sleeves and killed 4 wolves, and injure several more wolves before even they could react. The leader of the wolf pack which was the 10th stage basic-grade monster beast found Mo Feng at the tree top and growled in anger. Mo Feng responded by throwing few more darts and killing few more wolves and slightly injuring the leader of the pack.

The lead wolf understood it can’t do anything to Mo Feng so it ordered the remaining wolves to back off and howled at the sky calling for back up.

Mo Feng calmly watched the wolf’s action without any change in his face. Soon, a howl several times more powerful heard from the depth of the forest. Few minutes later, about hundreds of wolves lead by a wolf thrice the size of the rest of the wolf approached the tree location. The Wolf king personally lead the attack with a ferocious expression.

Mo Feng realised the Wolf King was a Mid-grade monster beast equivalent to the Qi acquiring martial artist.

Realising this, not only was he was afraid but he was excited and the corner of his mouth curved upwards slightly ‘Awesome! They took the bait. Now it’s time for me to reap the benefits.’

The Wolf pack completely surrounded the tree where Mo Feng was, and the wolf king was ready to jump and attack, but at the moment took two metal ball and threw it at the wolf back.

When the two balls reached the wolf pack, they collided and immediately 110’s of needles burst out from the two balls and attacked in all directions. Even the wolf king, much less the other wolves in the wolf pack were unable to react in time since the attack was too fast and most of the wolves got attacked by the needles.

Mo Feng didn’t pause, he took more metal balls and threw the metal balls around the tree. In a few seconds, except few wolves in the outer edge, all the other wolves were pierced by the needles, got paralysed by the needles, fell down unable to move.

Even though the wolf King was still standing, it was also slightly unsteady and Mo Feng thought ‘Looks like Cluster Soul chasing Ball can’t affect much when it comes to mid-grade monster beasts.’

But he was still satisfied with the result and climbed down the tree and took out a throwing spear from the space bag.

He flexed his hand back and threw the spear at the wolf king’s head. Wolves are born to be good at speed, so even though the wolf king still had paralysing effect, it still moved away from the attack of the spear.

But Mo Feng expected this, so as soon as he threw the first spear, he took out another spear and threw it; the wolf king avoided that too barely but the third spear caught its shoulder and the wolf king flung back from the attack howling in pain.

Before even the wolf king could get steady and rise again, the fourth spear came straight its head and pierced threw it ending its life.

Seeing this, tens of wolves that escaped the needle attacks, turned around and fled in fear while the rest of the wolves who are paralysed had fear in their eyes.

Mo Feng didn’t let the fleeing wolves and threw the spear and killed few wolves letting only 4 wolves escape of the entire wolf pack. Then he spent some time to kill the rest of the paralysed wolves.

Once he killed all the wolves, he checked his interface and found he levelled to Qi cleansing 9th stage and only a few hundred experiences away from the 10th stage.

When he thought of the reason behind his sudden increase in the level so much, his face became pale. He only calmed after few moments.

Yesterday, after leaving his grandfather’s place he went straight to the dungeon to see the 2 people of the Ouroboros gang who kidnapped this world’s Mo Feng. They threatened him about how Ouroboros gang will make the Mo family pay, and how they will torture and kill him and the his family.

Even though, he was in this world for only few days, he saw the love and concern the family showed him. So when he heard these two speak like that, in his anger, he slashed the neck of the both of them.

But, a moment later, he realised what he had taken a human life, his face became pale and he vomited his guts out when seeing all the blood gushing out from their neck. Killing animals was one thing, but killing a human was first for him and he couldn’t immediately adjust to the concept of this world. It took a while for him to calm down.

Even though he regretted taking human lives, it did give him a good boost in his EXP since the two people who he killed were at the peak stage of Qi Acquiring stage. It boosted him directly to Qi cleansing 9th stage, and now with killing hundreds of wolves he got close to the 10th stage.

While he was thinking about what happened, he heard a dragging sound from a direction coming towards him. He became alert, jumped on the tree and hid himself.

The sound got closer and soon a ten metre blue skinned snake revealed itself from the forest and came into the open area. Mo Feng was shocked because he felt the aura it’s releasing unconsciously is much stronger than the wolf king and he hid himself more carefully.

But, to his dismay, when the snake neared the bodies of the dead wolves, it suddenly stopped, turned around and looked at the hiding place of Mo Feng with its sharp eyes.
