Cultivation Through Artifacts - Chapter 345
“Planet Thov?” all the Elders looked at Senior Lin in confusion.
Maybe not every disciple knew this, but all the Elders present were clear about the fact that whenever a disciple wished to leave the sect for a mission or for other reasons, let it be Outer, Inner, or Core Disciple, they have to get the approval of the Sect Master no matter what.
Hence, the only person who would know which of their disciple went to Planet Thov in the past three days should be only her and no one else. Or at least until if she got notified about such a thing, because if not and a disciple decided to sneak out secretly, which had a very low possibility of one to a million, they were really screwed this time.
‘Let’s hope she knows who it was or else we are in real deep shit!’ all the Elders looked pale as they thought the same thing, waiting for Senior Lin to speak up and say the culprit’s name aloud.
They would be more than glad to skin alive that someone, teaching him a lesson for offending one of the scariest races such as the Night Crawlers!
However, who would have thought that instead of saying the name they so waited to hear, Senior Lin’s delicate face paled even more and slowly turned toward their direction, her complexion telling everything they needed to know.
‘Fuck!’ all the Elder’s faces turned ugly, almost like they have just swallowed a bug.
After thinking for a while, Senior Lin shifted her slightly trembling eyes at King Zell and swallowed nervously while saying, “K-King Zell… With all my respect, although it is hard to believe what I say next, none of our disciples have left this sect’s walls. I supervise all activities inside and around our Moon Sect, thus I can say with assurance that no Moon Disciple visited Planet Thov in the past 3 days.”
King Zell showed a deep and scary frown when he heard what Senior Lin just said and asked coldly, “So, you wish to tell me that one of my men who survived the massacre on Planet Thov from a human in your Moon Robe saw things wrong and even my daughter, who saw that individual with her own eyes, lied to me just to cause trouble to you for no reason? You dare to say me that?”
A heavy pressure fell on the group of humans once again when those were said, forcing all of them to fall onto their knees without a chance to resist. Even the ground below their legs became cracked, showing just how serious and dire the situation was to Senior Lin and the Elders at the moment.
“I…I do not dare… to declare something like that… even if I had the guts as vast as the sky…” Senior Lin quickly hissed through her clenched teeth while she watched as trickles of blood dripped onto the ground from the corner of her mouth bit by bit.
But compared to the rest of the Elders on her side, her condition was way much better as there were a few Elders that have already fallen unconscious from failing to withstand the great pressure on their bodies while some lay on the ground in a pond of blood, unknown if they were still alive or cold dead long ago!
“Then how do you explain your previous statement?” King Zell sneered and increased the pressure on Senior Lin’s body even more, causing her to cough up a great amount of blood, painting the floor below her more crimson than it was.
“I…” Senior Lin felt as her vision turned blurry and her consciousness seeps out of her control, but just as things seemed to end for once and for all, the scenery around her and King Zell changed, becoming a vast colorful cosmos filled with stars, planets, and meteorites.
“Hm?” all the Night Crawlers including Lirit and King Zell looked around in confusion when they saw the sudden change of events, but even before they had the chance to move or say a word, the whole scenery around them began to spin.
“Bleargh!”
“ARGH!
“W-What the… Blraergh!”
Night Crawlers one after another began to scream as they clutched their heads in pain while a tremendous amount of black blood gushed out of their mouths like a hot stream of river fall!
One by one, hundreds of creatures fell onto the ground unknown if their lives were intact or not while the only ones that could resist the brain-piecing power were King Zell, Lirit, and a few others that were close to the Ascender Stage.
“Domain type Blessing that attacks the mind?” King Zell muttered under his breath as he inspected the spinning scenery around him, seemingly unfazed that his soldiers were falling behind his back like leaves on a cold autumn night.
The first thing that appeared in King Zell’s mind was that someone from the Star Angel Race appeared and decided to help these humans from their demise, but that thought was quickly thrown into the trash as the traits of the Domain around him was slightly different from that of the winged creatures.
“This is annoying.” looking at the things around him for a little while longer, King Zell sneered quietly and waved his hand casually, immediately tearing the domain into hundreds of pieces and letting his men finally take a breather that seemed like an eternity.
“What… was that just now?” Senior Lin looked speechless by the sight she had just seen in the past few minutes, but couldn’t think any further as a young figure appeared on his side with casual steps.
“Y-You!” Senior Lin and all the Elders that were still conscious looked dumbfounded to see Khal appear out of nowhere with a nonchalant expression, almost like he didn’t even care who the individual in front of him was!
And as a fact, he really did not care, that is why he looked so indifferent even though the being in front of him was King Zell, a powerful expert who was only half a step away from reaching the Third Realm!
Looking at the Elders around him with a nonchalant look, a cold flash appeared in Khal’s eyes before he shifted his gaze at King Zell and sneered.
“You wish to see only one dead, yet you threaten hundreds instead even though they’re all innocent? Just how unreasonable can you be, but really? And you really call yourself a King?”
