Cursed Souls - Chapter 24 24 Waking Up

Oaki awoke the next day in a sort of haze. She looked over to find Chris and Noah sleeping next to each other on the floor. She looked around the room trying to remember the previous nights events. Her head was pounding. She turned over to get out of the bed when suddenly she felt watched.

“And where are you off to now?” Chris said.

She looked over in his direction to meet his eyes on her.

“What do you want?” she said shooting him snappy look.

“Shut up and don’t move.” He said with his eyes still dead set on her.

She wasn’t sure what it was but her heart started to beat quicker. She was frozen unsure of what to do. She saw him getting up and walking over to the side of her bed. He reached out his hand.

“Well? Are you just going to keep sitting there?” he said grabbing her arm.

The entire time since she had awoken the thought never occured to her that neither of them opened there mouths to say a word but instead had just herd the other person. She wasn’t fased as much by that. After realizing she quickly turned embarresed and started to think to herself if he could feel what she was feeling at the moment he grabbed her hand to help her up. She started to stand up out of the bed when she quickly felt light headed. Before she knew it she was falling into his arms, her head landing into his chest. She could smell his scent. And it was at this moment that the nights events started to come back to her. When she basically threw herself at both of the boys and tried to even kiss Chris. She pushed him away abruptly.

“I can do it myself!” She said a little angry. This time she said it aloud.

Noah turned over and started to wake up. He walked directly over to her and then looked over to Chris.

“Thank you for all your help with everything, but I think it would be a good idea if you left now.” He said firmly and direct.

“Of course loved boy would speak for you” he said rudly while looking directly at her.

Even though they weren’t talking anymore in there minds she could feel his frustration.

“Oh and loved boy literally all I did was try to help her out of bed, not that I should have to defend myself or explain anything to the likes of you.”

Before anyone could reply, Chris walked over and swiftly grabbed his jacket and left slamming the door behind him.
