Cybernetic Array God - Chapter 1 Death And Blackouts
The tomb was massive stretching higher and higher into the endless void. Various colorful formation and arrays were humming gently as they rotated twisted and floated around performing their intricate tasks. The massive array wasn’t working yet its majesty would awe any cultivator no matter which realm they were in.
The peaceful tranquility was broken and a man dressed in a purple robe stumbled out of a portal. He coughed repeatedly until blood flew out of his mouth. His long hair covered his face. His entire body was riddled various scars. Chunks of his flesh were missing with a myriad of auras floating around him.
A feminine hand emerged from the portal. Three rings adorned its beautiful hands. The man sensed it immediately and reached out to the formation. A small black array had appeared beside him. He put his hands on it and urged a trickle of his murky and slow Qi just enough to activate it.
The entire tomb hummed with life as it tried to protect itself. Various arrays and formations appeared as they wrapped around the black portal. Threads of Qi wrapped around the hand. The portal visibly shrunk but the hand wouldn’t have any of it as it tried to force itself through. One of the rings on the hand glowed with a three-headed green dragon totem.
With a massive roar, a three-headed calamity dragon flew out of the humongous totem. The dragon charged towards the man but a new dark red formation appeared on top of it. The dragons momentum was dispersed as red tentacles coiled around it.
The wretched man coughed out even more blood. A pool of blood had already formed around him. He summoned an absorption array. It flew towards him and he immediately dumped out all of the spirit stones in his rings. The spirit stones crumbled into dust before hitting the surface of the array.
He allowed the array to use the emergency resource storages and commanded it to activate the space transfer formation. The entire tomb hummed and trembled as the man closed his eyes and blacked out.

The man gasped as he woke up. He immediately tried to activate his QI but there was no response at all. The pain had disappeared but his current state was even worse. He couldn’t feel his QI at all.
On top of that, his body felt so weak and lethargic that it was almost laughable. He started looking around. He was in some sort of room. Sunlight filtered through the glass window and the man looked straight at the sun. His vision was blinded momentarily and an intense headache assaulted him as he groaned and buried his head in his knees.
He reappeared in the massive array tomb. He looked around with obvious surprise and astonishment. He did a full sweep of his surroundings with his divine sense and observed that the array was heavily damaged. The floating arrays and formations were trembling and sputtering. Some of them weren’t even operating anymore.
However, the most surprising thing was the fact that he’d turned into a ghost or specter of some sort. He tried to touch his face but it passed right through the face. He looked down at his faint hands with bitterness. How the great King of Arrays had fallen. All because of love and trust.
Rage flashed across his pale face as he cursed madly. To think that ‘she’ and the clan would betray him all because of their stupid desire to suppress this array. After everything he’d done for the clan and her. He’d made enemies left and right just for the clan and her and this was how the world repaid him!
By trying to destroy his greatest creation!
He was going to squeeze the damn world and piss on every single mortal and immortal once he returned. How dare the world try and suppress him!
He grinned morbidly as he thought how he was still alive and the array hadn’t been destroyed. Damaged, yes but it was only a matter of time before he fixed it and went back to take his revenge and beat the sh*t out of everyone!
The man was already thinking of ways to fix the array but he disappeared.

The man was back in that weak and feeble body. He was lying in the middle of the bathtub and the shower was still running. He looked around with surprise and tried to stand up but another intense headache started to assault him and a torrent of memories assaulted his soul as he screamed!
“AHHHH!!!!”

Stan was doing work on his computer while drinking his coffee. Saira was cooking some pancakes when they heard the scream.
“What was that?” Stan asked and stood up.
“Jay, what was that?” Saira shouted.
“I don’t know. I think it was Cyrus!” Jay shouted back with a hint of fear.
The couple hurriedly went upstairs and knocked on the bathroom door.
“Honey, are you okay?” Saira asked worriedly as she knocked on the door.
“Son?” asked Stan but there was no response. They could only hear groans and wails from the bathroom.
“Jay grab the keys.”
“Okay!” He replied and ran downstairs. He grabbed the keys and came back up.
Stan opened the door and Saira hurriedly moved the shower curtain and saw Cyrus. He was grabbing his head and groaning.
The family called 911 a few minutes later and Cyrus was sent to the hospital.

2 Hours Later
The man opened his eyes. Sleep. How nostalgic. It’d been years since he’d slept like this. He looked around and saw Cyrus’s mother sitting there worriedly. This body’s biological mother. He’d somehow invaded the body of this sixteen-year-old boy in a world called Earth. There was no form of cultivation in this world and judging from the fac-
She grabbed his hand and asked, interrupting his train of thought.”Son, how are you?”
“I’m fine.” He replied hoarsely.
“Do you need something to eat?”
“No. I’m fine.” Cyrus pulled his hand out of her grasp. He’d grown distrustful of other people. Especially ‘family’. His clan and lover had killed him out of cold blood, after all.
Saira didn’t seem to mind as she pressed a button on a remote. It was in order to call a nurse.
“What happened to me?” The man asked.
“You fainted while taking a shower. The doctors still haven’t told me why. They want to run a few tests okay, honey. You’ll be fine.” She smiled faintly and ran her hand through Cyrus’s hair.
“Can you not do that?” The man grabbed her hand. He’d been in a world where killing others was as easy as breathing for him. How could he let someone pamper him like this, now?
“Okay, okay..” Saira said with a mock sense of defeat. She just thought he was embarrassed.
The door opened and a doctor stepped in. After checking his vitals and asking him a few questions the doctor left.
The man ignored this body’s biological mother and closed his eyes. Hoping she would think that he was asleep and leave him alone for a while.
An intense headache immediately assaulted him once again and he groaned. Saira hurriedly started shaking him:
“Son…Son! What is it!?”
He blacked out again.
