Cybernetic Array God - Chapter 11 Bail And Poin
The bail was approved. Cyrus just stood there and looked at the judge with the happiest expression he could muster. It was set at fifteen thousand dollars but Cyrus wasn’t concerned about that at all. He wasn’t the one who was going to pay for it anyways.

{Three Hours Later}
Cyrus was sitting in the back of his father’s car. His mother was sitting beside him. She was radiating with joy and happiness. She didn’t think for a second that her ‘son’ could be capable of something like that.
Cyrus gazed out the window with a smile on his face. That smile didn’t indicate his inner turmoil. The imprints didn’t work. What the hell was he supposed to do now?
There was no Qi in the atmosphere of this world. He hadn’t been able to sense even the slightest drop of QI.
He closed his eyes and starting going through the massive amount of cultivation techniques in his mind. There were hundreds of them but almost all of them had some sort of requirement other than Qi. For example:
It requires the blood and feathers of a jade peacock and the refined essence of a hundred frost beasts. Where the hell was he going to find these materials?
Butthe materials weren’t the real problem. Almost all techniques required some sort of Qi as a base material.
‘Haah’ He sighed internally and just closed his eyes.
{Two Weeks Later}
The man was floating in the Array Tomb. He’d come back. There hadn’t been much progress in the real world, at all.
He looked at his body and it was much more transparent than last time. He didn’t have much time left.
‘Is this where it all stops?’ He wondered. Perhaps, this was the end. He could do something else definitely but he was just too tired now.
‘What about my revenge?’ A voice inside him wondered.
“Hahawhat revenge?”
“Years of solitude and grief have passed. There’s no point anymore.” He had seen each and every single person close to him pass away, get left behind. Hell, he didn’t even remember how old he was now.
Something had broken inside him over the years. He’d isolated himself even from his lover and the higher ups of the clan. He’d invested all of his energy and time into his various projects. This array was the last piece of his legacy. His work was him and he was his work.
He closed his eyes as he floated higher and higher. The arrays seemed like specks of light as he sped up leaving them behind.
“What’s the point?” he mused depressingly. He might as well kill himself right now and get it all over with.
A slight tremble traveled through the Array Tomb as his thoughts slipped from his control.

{The Real World}
Cyrus was lying on the ground because of his seizure. He was wearing a gray shirt and black jeans. He didn’t want to get up at all. He was starting to feel cold but he was too lazy to get up and grab his hoodie.
His door opened and J came inside. “Brah, get up. Ma’s calling you.”
Cyrus just nodded and said: “Alright.”
J looked at him with concern. He wanted to say something but he didn’t know what. Ever since Cyrus had started having seizures he’d grown distant. He opened and closed his mouth several times but eventually, he just closed the door behind him.
Cyrus didn’t care. About ten minutes later he finally got up and decided to go downstairs. He barely ate anything before coming upstairs and just laying down in his bed. The blinds were drawn casting the entire room in a dull gray glow.
He took out his phone and continued reading his book. It was

{One Month Later}
Cyrus was lying inside his room reading a book. The case had been settled with the Curry’s without having to go to trial. Cyrus didn’t really care if he went to jail or not. During his arrest, it was because he knew he would be able to get out once he got his powers back. Now it was just a morbid sense of ‘fuck it, who cares’.
His room door opened and his mother’s head peeked inside.
“Baby, we’re going to pick Hera up. Are you sure you don’t want to come?”
“Yeah, I’m sure.” Cyrus knew who Hera was but, to be honest, he didn’t care about that at all. He just wanted to get rid of that sinking feeling in his chest.
“Okay, be careful alright. There’s food in the fridge and if anything comes up just give me a call okay?”
He just nodded and Saira closed the door. Saira turned around and sighed. The seizures and then the case, they’d obviously taken a toll on him. She wanted to do something butshe was hopeless.
Meanwhile, Cyrus turned back to his book. It was called [The Future of Humanity: Dyson Spheres]. Dyson Spheres were basically a way to harvest the energy of an entire star such as the sun.
The most basic example of a Dyson Sphere would be a giant metal ball around the sun. This ball would be covered in solar panels which would harvest the energy of the sun and supply the world with a huge amount of electrical energy. Cyrus just kept on reading voraciously.

{Thirty Minutes Later}
Cyrus finished the book and put it in his bookshelf. The bookshelf was a new addition in his room. He’d asked his parents for it and they’d readily bought it for him including the books in it. He liked physical copies more than the online versions. It just felt right to him.
He rubbed his eyes and stepped out of the room. He was hungry. He munched on the pasta and nachos while gazing blankly out of the window. Dull grey clouds moved and warm rays of the sun enveloped his face.
‘Are Dyson Spheres really possible?’ A warm feeling of excitement emerged as he took out the marker in his pocket and started writing down on the counter. The amount of energy within the sun was astronomical. The sun literally shone with the power of a trillion nuclear bombs per second!
If he could supply the Array Tomb with that then the amount of Qi he would acquire would be astronomical!
He scribbled on the counter as he brainstormed. The afternoon sun cast a beautiful glow as the man dressed in a simple white T-shirt scribbled on the counter with a slight smirk while muttering excitedly.
An entire metal ball encasing the sun would be impossible because it would collapse but the book had pointed out that an enormous swarm of giant plates around the sun’s surface would be a viable option. The swarm could easily harvest all of the energy of the sun.
In ten minutes the entire counter was covered with various approaches he could use. He was just about to write down another option when he paused. He blinked and looked at the entire counter.
‘It’s this isn’t it?’ he thought. ‘This is the point.’
For the longest time, he could remember all he’d done was to collect knowledge and then use it to pursue insane projects. His eyes shone brightly as the sun illuminated his face.
