Cybernetic Array God - Chapter 16 Plans And Explosion
Cyrus was wearing a black jacket with grey jeans and a gray school bag. He was browsing through his phone familiarizing himself with how to start a corporation. He scrolled for a few more minutes before groaning with frustration and throwing his phone back in his pocket.
‘Strange’ He stopped in the middle of the sidewalk. The wind was blowing fiercely right now blowing gusts of snow around.
‘How come I’m so impatient?’ He would be able to sit down for months back when he was in his ‘main’ body, work on a tiny detail and still not be frustrated but now something as trivial as this was getting under his skin.
‘It’s this body, huh?’ He looked down at himself. It had no base of cultivation at all. That was why he was reluctant to even use the Qi inside his soul on Earth. He didn’t want to just waste it by losing control or something. Like the time when he was trying to rob the Raija Beads.
He just scoffed and continued walking. ‘I have to find a way around this.’
‘How come I was able to use my divine sense in the beyond?’
‘Now that I have Qi the sh*t I can doHehehe.’
He willed it and he reappeared in the underground ruin.
He scanned his entire body with his divine sense and nothing seemed to be out of order except for the fact that there was something in his right arm.
As soon as he tried to approach it with his divine sense he completely lost contact with it. It was most likely because of that turquoise stone but he couldn’t do anything about it right now.
‘Might as well get back.’ He walked all the way back to the opening along with his loot of course. Namely the black stoned necklace and the upside down ‘five’ robe. He would definitely peruse that tomb he’d found when he’d just come here.
‘Alright, here goes.’ He urged the Qi dwelling inside the depths of his soul and quickly crafted a few runes under his feet with the intent to fly.
BOOM!
There was a literal boom as dust swirled around him and he shot straight up above. He almost crashed into the very top but the runes dissipated by themselves and he landed with the grace of a horny dragon.
“Damn, that was close!” He glanced back and there was a passageway extending down there but he had no intention of going there at least for now. He wanted to go back to the stone chamber first.
But the runesthey immediately dissipated and Qi he’d used had been astronomical. ‘Astronomical’ was a small word he’d almost used half of it just for that simple jump. This only helped drive the point further in his mind that Qi was completely unreliable.
There were a few people in the stone chamber but Cyrus didn’t want anything to do with them so, he killed them immediately.
He was lying down on his back and whistling a cheerful tone while wondering: ‘What should I do with this place?’ He already thought of this entire underground city as his own property.
To be honest, he wanted to explore it as much as possible but it would be a waste to just leave this place hanging. He hated not making use of everything after all that was the point of even having all that stuff.
‘Especially the stuff in the treasury. I should invest that somewhere now that I’m starting to mess around again.’
He could make some productive use of all that stuff obviously.
‘Maybe I should develop this place.’ His eyes started gleaming. This was a pile of undisturbed land and he could do anything with it so why not develop it?
Cyrus immediately jumped up and started pacing the room. What kind of development should it be? He’d always wanted to create and design an awesome city.
‘But’ The biggest hurdle was energy. He couldn’t use Qi. It was too unreliable and there was no way it could justify the benefit to cost ratio depending on the stuff he wanted to do with this city. ‘
After considering extensively the conclusion he came to was: ‘I should put this off until I establish a foothold on Earth.’
He willed it and returned to Earth.

Cyrus was gazing out of the window blankly staring at the snowstorm raging outside and yawned. He’d come up with a plan but the first was that he had to understand if Qi output to input ratio was the same as it was in the Beyond.
In other words, was it going to deplete as much energy on Earth as it did in the Beyond?
He got up and headed towards the door.
“Cyrus, where are you going?” His teacher half shouted as the class burst out laughing.
“The washroom.” He replied with a hint of annoyance.
“Were you going to ask me before leaving?” There were a few gasps being stifled here and there.
“Nope.” The class burst out with laughter and Cyrus exited the room while his teacher just stared at his back.
Cyrus barged straight into the bathroom and started checking the stalls. The last one was closed.
BANG! BANG! BANG!
He started knocking on the door and shouted: “Get the f*ck out!”
“What? Wait” Somebody muttered and cursed before finally opening the stall. It was a fat pudgy kid with a face you couldn’t help but want to punch. Andthat’s exactly what Cyrus did as he struck him square on his face knocking him on his ass.
“Get the f*ck out!”
The boy was about to mutter something but Cyrus kicked him straight in the gut knocking him back on the ground.
“Get the f*ck out!”
The boy grumbled as he hurriedly left.
Cyrus let out a light chuckle. “Bullying others always cheered him up.” He checked around the bathroom making sure there weren’t any cameras. You could never be too careful. He could care less about the pudgy boy and concentrated on the Qi dwelling inside him.
He forced out the one half of the Qi inside him and forced it into his right hand. ‘Hmm’ As soon as it reached its right hand a sizeable chunk of it had gone missing. This body’s efficiency was sh*t. Especially, the hand.
He forced out the Qi in the form of a thread and a splitting headache hit him. Beads of sweat formed on his brow and his heart started beating like a mad lion on steroids.
“What the f*ck!?”
He used his immense willpower to make a circle and started crafting a rune but he couldn’t stabilize any of it. The external pressure was too much.
Gusts of wind formed around him and the lights above him started flickering. The numerous distractions weren’t helping.
‘S*it! Come back!” He started manipulating the Qi to come back but it was like trying to move a mountain using your soul power. In a matter of seconds, he lost control and
BOOOM!!!
There was an Earth-shaking explosion and the volatile Qi exploded!
‘Oh F*ck, this is going to hurt.’
