Danger Zone - Chapter 256
Pregnancy looked good on Nigel. Anyone who sees him will say so. His skin is glowing despite its unusual pallor. The Omega has stops going out more and more as his bump starts to show.
The second semester is going smoothly. The morning sickness is long gone and he is finally starting to feel like himself again. Primo’s papa bear phase also seems to fade away. Which meant that the Omega is allowed to do more than laying around all day, to the Omega’s joy.
From cleaning the living room to taking out the trash, complaining about the ugly shows on TV to watching endless romantic and comedy films on Enflix, cleaning the kitchen before cooking his lunch to calling his mate just to bother him with his work; Nigel has done it all.
The Alpha knows about that.
He is aware that it is good for his husband, understood that Nigel needs some distractions and how much he hates being inactive. However, he can’t help but resent it.
“Babe, are you sure you really can go?”
Nigel glares at the Alpha after asking the same questions for over a thousand times since they wake up for this morning yoga that Alliana booked for his brother. The Omega already said yes to him, a thousand times.
“Yes, Alpha. Now, shut it. And stop asking the same question over and over again. It irritates me.”
The Alpha can only sigh since there is nothing he can do but watch his mate doing his pregnancy yoga with his sister to incredibly gained weight as well.
As much to his disagreement with the plan, he needs to be invited too since Alliana booked his brother for a partner yoga, which means, Primo will do the same shit as the instructor asks them to do.
“It will just be for a week, Alpha. It will be fun!”
Sometimes or even one of this days, Primo will strangle his mate’s sister out of frustrations. It’s not because he is not flexible in doing yoga or any other exercise, it’s just Primo is not a fan of yoga exercise.
He hates doing them. So, this will be hell of a week for Primo if he ends up having a fight with Nigel in the middle of the session. Or if it isn’t getting into a fight, Nigel is the one who will be fighting the instructor.
So, yes… Primo sees this coming at some point.
He walks towards the Alpha to hold his hand. He is about to lean over to kiss the Alpha when he feels a sensation of discomfort in his belly. He frowns at his stomach.
“Kick or hicks?”
It is always fascinating to him how the baby seems to react to their voice. Nigel nods, taking his husband’s hand to press it against his stomach.
“I don’t feel anything, love.”
Frowning, the Omega chuckles and asks him to say something so the baby might responds to his voice. The Alpha thinks for a second before smiling and leaning forward to whisper against the belly.
“When you comes out, kick Aunt Alliana for me.”
“Alpha!”

It didn’t go so well.
The moment they enter the class, everyone’s eyes are on his mate rather than Nigel. This is when he realizes why Primo is so against in going with these classes and the Omega and Alliana completely forgets about that.
Now, standing inside of the room, filled with hormonal pregnant Omegas and glaring Alphas, Nigel and Primo sits at the far most corner while Alliana sits beside them. The instructor is eyeing his mate which made Nigel conscious.
Primo senses this and engulfs his Omega with his scents, making Nigel smiles and smitten towards the woman. She is a Beta, and Nigel is an Omega. Even if her class is right above the doctor, Nigel’s reputation is much higher than her.
“You can attack, baby. I will just be here watching you.”
Nigel smiles at this and kisses his Alpha, sweetly. Looking at the corner of his eyes, Nigel smirks towards the Beta woman and smirks, indicating that she can’t do anything but watches them sweetly doing yoga while Primo is looking at his mate lovingly.
The Omega spends the rest of the afternoon with his stomach in a knot. He can’t help but notices the whispers and quiet giggles coming from the others in the room.
Primo did his best at distracting the Omega, but his mind kept on drifting to the instructor and her clique of soccer parents.
Although he isn’t one to be swayed by other people’s opinion of him, the rumors surrounding his mating with a Santoro are having a toll on him.
The thought that everybody is talking about it, makes him sick to his stomach.
Nigel startles when Primo wraps his hands around his waist and rests his head in the crook of his neck. The Omega hums, laying against his Alpha’s chest with his legs crossed in a meditation pose.
“Don’t mind them, sweet cheeks. I am here and I am all yours. And always remember that it is you, who captured a Santoro, not them. Stop comparing yourself to them.”

When Nigel leaves for the bathroom, Primo uses the opportunity to get acquainted with the instructor, setting one goal in mind. The Alpha makes his way towards the crowd where the Omega stands at the center and bows politely.
Most of the people there are parents or even families of the company where the Alpha is working right now. The Omegas swoon at him who smiles and greets them with his unusual cheerfulness before directing his attention to the instructor.
“Thank you for a wonderful lesson, Miss Avanes. My mate and I had a lot of fun and probably grow closer together.”
The calmness of the Alpha’s tone didn’t deceive the bystanders who immediately scattered around. The instructor narrows her eyes at Primo and crosses her arms.
“Well, your welcome, Alpha. Now, what do you want?”
Primo chuckles as his expression slowly darkens and his voice drops a few octaves from his usual ones. The one that he had used too many times before when he is still working under Grandmama’s supervision.
“I want to thank you for continuing guidance of my mate during the whole lesson. It means a lot to us since this is the first time that we both had done this.”
A few hitches of breath around them can be heard as the Alpha moves forward to the instructor and smirks.
“But that doesn’t mean that giving him a side eye and crude remarks will make me change my mind of mating him for you. Your attitude towards my mate is disgusting and I will let my cousins’ mates know not to enroll to your classes anymore.
I will pay for the remaining classes for this week but never expect of us attending anymore. This is a fare warning if you still want your studio filled with excited and hormonal omegas with their mates or only flies buzzing around with no on in sight.”
The Alpha moves a few inches away from her as she breaths incoherently and Primo giving her a charming smile.
“Again, thank you.”
And with that, the Alpha jogs back to his mate before the instructor can even retorts from his remarks. She feels the sudden urge to run away and never mess with a Santoro again.
This serves a lesson for her in the future if she still wants a growing business of yoga class for pregnant Omegas.
