Danger Zone - Chapter 258
“You see, my life has been a tornado ever since I was “adopted” by the Santoros, taken from my family by force while my brother was being married to some psychopathic woman that he met in Russia. It was a roller coaster ride.
And it was something I was not proud to talk about, but it was a part of me. When I first met you, it was a devastating sight. I got my bond ripped off because of how stupid I am and I was lost. Completely lost of what was going to happen with my life.
And then, you came along. You just entered a danger zone where the moment to stepped inside, you can no longer go back.
But that did not stopped you for showing me and giving me a chance to prove to myself and to others that I could be a better Alpha than that bullshit one who ravished his mate out of anger, frustration and jealousy.”
Primo’s thumbs are running circles across the back of his mate’s hand, and the Omega’s heart is running a thousand beats per minute. The Alpha looks up to him and smiles as he finishes his piece.
“What I mean to say is… would you want to be the eternal garden in my life?”
Nigel finds himself nodding, and before the Alpha can say anything, Nigel’s words are rushing out of him in waves.
He can’t help it, his love for his Alpha too much for him to handle. The Alpha’s looking at him expectantly, eyes bright, cheeks pink.
“I’m really not good with words, but…when I met you, my Alpha, I felt like we were worlds apart. I felt like we would never be on the same wavelength, on the same plane, in the same universe. I wished to be your hope, I wished to be your star, I wished to be your dream…and I wished to be your hero.”
Nigel doesn’t care if he is stuttering or even blushing at this point. He just wants to tell the world how much he loves, cares, and wants this Alpha beside him to be his and tell them how wonderful he feels to be his mate.
Meeting an Alpha that will accept for who, he truly is, is like a life time opportunity that is given to him by the Luna. Something that he will forever treasure and now, they are getting wedded.
“Standing here, right now, with you under this pretty arch, in front of all of these beautiful people, I’m suddenly realizing that…my wishes came true without me noticing, and I’m happy, because for once, I feel important.
So, my Alpha…May I ask you to do something for me, too? Will you do me the honor of being my hope, my star, my dream, and my hero?”
The Alpha doesn’t answer.
Instead, he takes one step closer to his life mate, his hands running up his arms, across his shoulders, around the back of Nigel’s head, fingers tangle in orange locks, and seals their vows with a kiss.
Nigel closes his eyes as his hands automatically find purchase on Primo’s hips.
Their lips mold together perfectly into a slow dance that they’re both used to. The kiss is slow, lazy, sweet, and Nigel can’t help but smile. Primo laughs softly, pulling away for a fraction, their lips barely touching.
The Omega’s eyes flutter open, and he leans his forehead against the Alpha’s. He reaches his hands up to run his fingers through his mate’s jet black hair.
“I love you, my Alpha. Thanking for choosing me as you life mate. Meeting you is something that I will never forget for as long as I live. And this little gift that you gave me is something that is worth waiting for and cherishing for.
Should we tell them?”
Primo chuckles at the question as he kisses his mate once again. They faces the crowd as the applause grows louder and louder and some whistles goes in between. The Alpha asks for the microphone once again as he clears his throat and makes an announcement.
“Excuse me. I have a riddle for all of you to think of. Don’t worry, it is not that hard. Just a bit fun.”
Silence fill the whole garden as they anticipate what the Alpha is about to say. Nigel giggles beside him as Primo looks straight at all the pregnant Omegas present today.
“It has been me and Nigel for quite sometime. A small apartment that still feels too big for two lonely souls. But that’s going to change in a few short months. For the heaven has heard our secret desire.
We are growing, especially Nigel. By one heart and two feet.”
Drax looks at his cousin before realizing where he heard those words before. He hides his laughter as Primo continues with more clues.
“What has two feet and a belly to tickle. It can cause a craving for the most impossible food to cook of, especially ice cream and pickles?”
Aiden looks at his Alpha as Alliana frowns to the two couples in front of them. Thinking what kind of a ridiculous riddle this is until Nigel’s mom screams in surprise.
“YOU ARE PREGNANT?!”
Alliana whips her head towards her brother as Nigel slowly smiles and nods towards his mother as she jumps up and down and shocks that Nigel is still enable to get pregnant at his age.
Nigel grabs the microphone from his mate as he clears his throat, throwing the laughter away so he can announces how many more months that they need to wait for their grandchild.
“Three months and counting.”
Nigel’s mom yells and runs towards his son as she hugs him tightly and Primo balancing Nigel behind before he can fall.
“Oh, my sweet child! Congratulations! I can’t believe it!”
Nigel cries alongside his mother as Primo grabs for more tissue so the two can wipe their tears away.
“Thank you, Primo! Thank you for giving Nigel the best gift he can ask for.”
Primo smiles and knows what she means. He places his hand around Nigel’s belly and caresses it lightly until he feels a kick.
“Looks like someone is happy.”
Nigel’s mother gawks and smiles as she places hers to feel the baby kicking and Nigel leaning towards Primo’s shoulder and sighs contently.
“I want some pickles.”
Primo chuckles at his mate and kisses him by the forehead. Humming in contentment as he asks the staff of the garden venue to grab a whole plate of uncut pickles and makes sure they are as bitter as a Momordica.
“I love you, my Alpha.”
“I love you, my Omega.”
