Daughters of the Elite - Chapter 88
They arrived home together where the twins waited for them. Song Ren caught them up on everything with them. The twins then granted Song Sheng a smile.
“Congratulations,” Song Jun said to him softly. Song Sheng smiled, ruffling his brothers long, unkempt hair. Song Jinyi approached him as well, “Who knew you would be a CEO? It’s like a full circle,” she said. Song Sheng chuckled, lifting his youngest sister. Song Jinyi scowled, annoyed because Song Sheng considered her the baby of the family. Song Sheng let her down as she scratched at him.
Song Ren began to chew gum as she stared at Song Sheng with her arms crossed. Her long black hair stopped at her waist. Her eyes were covered, but she was smirking at him. She then removed her sunglasses. “Was this the reason you left the company?” she asked him. Song Sheng listened, then nodded.
Song Ren exhaled deeply and chuckled. “I thought you were stupid to leave,” she began. “But who knew you were smart?” she said. Song Sheng barked a laugh, and they both chuckled despite the dark mood from earlier. Qian Meigui couldn’t help but smile at the sight.
As Song Sheng laughed with Song Ren, he glanced at Qian Meigui with a playful, warm smile. She desperately wanted to jump on him and tell him how he’s so brilliant, as he’s always been. But she waited instead.
“You have to stay for dinner,” Jinyi said to him.
Song Sheng nodded, agreeing.
Song Ren, Yang Rei, and Qian Meigui prepared the dinner while the boys and Jinyi were speaking to each other in the dining room. Qian Meigui glanced up at Song Sheng as she washed some vegetables from the island sink. He glanced up at her at the same time, and their eyes met. They looked at each other appreciatively before returning to what they were doing before.
In the dining hall, the seven of them ate together, drinking wine and Song Sheng told them about how Song Hai had planned for him to inherit the company all along. Song Rui looked at his son proudly. Even Qian Meigui did too, but she still felt dumbfounded.
She never expected him to inherit the Entertainment company, that once rightfully belonged to Song Rui. Qian Meigui knew that that Song Sheng wouldn’t waste his talents. Instead, he multiplied his abilities by taking on new challenges, and she was glad that he did.
After the dinner was over, Song Jinyi and Song Jun went to their rooms wine drunk, trying to play video games. Song Ren was passed out on the couch, where her coat pillowed her head. Song Rui and Yang Rei went to sleep.
Qian Meigui was in the kitchen cleaning up when Song Sheng came to join her. He poured glasses of sparkling rose wine as she continued to wash the dishes. Song Sheng then embraced her from behind, snaking his hands to reach her wet soapy hands. He ran their hands together under the warm running water. Qian Meigui’s breath hitched. Her eyes darted around the room to check if anyone was around. It was just the two of them.
Song Sheng used a cloth to dry their hands. Afterwards, his hand reached out to hold her chin, facing him. He stole a peck from her lips. But since his gaze was deep and hungry, he leaned down to kiss her deeper. Qian Meigui turned to face him, opening her mouth, allowing him to take her breath away. Today was a day of mourning and celebration. There was no doubt that they still had to speak to each other about it.
Song Sheng moved from her lips to the line of her jaw, to her neck. She had to tighten her grip on the kitchen counter. His lips lingered on her neck, biting and sucking. Qian Meigui’s breathing deepened. She pressed her hands against his chest to push him away slightly. He looked at her with his eyes glazed with desire and longing. “We can’t right now, Mr. CEO. Song Ren is in the other room,” Qian Meigui breathed as she blushed. She knew that this was not the appropriate place to continue things.
Song Sheng nodded, biting down the desire. He then took the wine glasses he poured and passed one of them to her. Qian Meigui took the glass, smiling and drinking it as he did. Soon after, they heard a knock coming from the front door. “Come in,” Qian Meigui yelled.
Su Feng stepped forward cautiously, glancing around the room.
“My father is sleeping,” Song Sheng said to him. Su Feng sighed in relief, stepping in further. “Where’s Song Ren?” he asked, shutting the door behind him. Song Sheng nodded his chin toward the room. Su Feng followed his directions, finding Song Ren curled up on the couch.
Su Feng sat next to her, lightly tapping her shoulder. Song Ren opened her eyes groggily when she saw Su Feng and beamed. She then reached up to wrap her arms around his neck, and she pinned him underneath her on the couch. Qian Meigui and Song Sheng had to look away from their intimate moment.
They continued to clean the kitchen as they saw Su Feng carrying Song Ren over his back. “I’m taking her home,” he said. Qian Meigui raised her wine glass, peaking her brow. The mansion was Song Ren’s house, but wherever Su Feng is, was her home. And Qian Meigui felt the same way about Song Sheng.
Su Feng and Song Ren then left the house.
When Song Sheng and Qian Meigui finished cleaning, drinking, and eating, she realized that Song Sheng was too drunk to drive home, and she was too drunk to take him; so she told him to stay and leave early in the morning. They both decided to stay in one of the guest rooms’ on the main floor away from the rest of their family who slept upstairs.
They both stumbled into the bedroom when Qian Meigui felt like taking a bath. Without thinking, she began to strip her clothing, undressing. Song Sheng was lying on the bed when he peaked at her, his desire stirring once more.
Qian Meigui stepped into the bathroom, n.a.k.e.d when she glanced at Song Sheng. Song Sheng rose, unbuttoning his shirt, as he emerged in the bathroom from behind her. Qian Meigui helped him discard the rest of his clothing as he kissed her furiously.
In the bathtub, they were both red from the steam, the passion, and alcohol. Qian Meigui sat leaned back against his body. Song Sheng massaged her head as he washed her hair for her. He then cleaned her body for her, as her body slumped from exhaustion. Qian Meigui then returned the favour.
They have yet to go all the way. The past weeks were all about learning about each other’s bodies, going slow and steady. They had all the time they had and needed. No matter what obstacles were ahead of them, Song Sheng felt determined that he wouldn’t let her go. Not again.
Song Sheng dried her body, placing a robe over her, carrying her to bed.
As they settled themselves under the covers, the two of them stared at each other. Qian Meigui traced the line of his lips playfully. “So you’re the CEO of an Entertainment Industry?” she asked him. Song Sheng smiled, “Mhm,” he responded. Qian Meigui smiled, snuggling into his embrace. “My boyfriend is a CEO, interesting,” she said more to herself. Song Sheng stilled.
He felt warm that she called him her boyfriend, even though she couldn’t say it out loud, nor in public. Now that they were together, and he was in power; he will ensure that nothing happens to her.
