DC Anime System - Chapter 13

*thump* *thump* *thump* *BOOOOOM!!!*

The door to the throne room was being banged on repeatedly and then suddenly it went flying towards everyone positioned in front of it. Soon after a white-haired man and a black-haired woman walked into the room.

“Ra’s al Ghul…..The Demon’s Head. It’s a pleasure.” The man with white hair said looking at the man sitting on the throne.

“You know I just sent someone to guide you so why did you break my door.” Ra’s said bitterly.

“Let’s just say I didn’t like the welcoming you had set up.” The white-haired man said with an evil grin.

“Who are you people and how do you know who we are ?” Ra’s gets angry at his remark and shouts back.

“My name is Krius Dante and this is my friend Diana. We are here for a deal.” He calmly retorts.

“What kind of deal?” Ra’s says raising an eyebrow.

“Work for me or I destroy every last one of you. I also know about the Lazurus Pits so don’t even think about reviving yourself Ra’s.” Krius announces with absolute confidence.

“How…How do you know about that?” Ra’s gets shaken by the fact that someone outside of the League of Assassins even knows about the Lazarus Pit. It was meant to be an absolute secret even among the League and only a few knew about it.

“You have your resources and I have my own so now decide are you going comply or am I going to have to convince you?” Krius questions with a clear threat.

“You dare to think you can defeat the League of Assassins with only the two of you?” Ra’s’ face gets distorted hearing the man’s question.

“Actually yes I do think that. Now decide.” This time Krius’s fists light up with a dark purple flame. Hearing Krius’s words his face twists in anger shouting,

“KILL THEM BOTH!!! DON’T LET EITHER OF THEM GET AWAY!! SHOW THEM WHAT HAPPENS TO THE ONES THAT TAKE THE LEAGUE OF ASSASSINS LIGHTLY!!!!”

Looking at Krius’s strange power Ra’s immediately orders the Assassins around him to end their lives and they instantly jump out to attack.

Krius doesn’t move from his spot and holds out his hand then instantly a burst of dark purple flame shoots out from his hand affecting everyone in front of him. Diana immediately reacts using her sword to take care of the assassins coming from behind with no effort.

After a few seconds, the only people left standing were Ra’s al Ghul himself and the two intruders Krius and Diana. Shocked by this outcome Ra’s pulls out his sword to attack however before he could take even take a step forward his face gets slammed onto the throne by Krius. He was forced to sit on the throne then suddenly his whole body up to his neck freezes.

“RELEASE ME YOU IMPUDENT—” Ra’s starts shouting in anger but before he could finish his sentence Krius freezes his mouth.

“Now listen Ra’s, from now on you are going to consider me as your superior whom you have known for a very long time and obey my every command, you are going to think that somehow you have forgotten everything about me and now you finally remember.” Ra’s goes into a deep trance as Krius speaks to him and he nods with every sentence spoken to him then as Krius stops he finally wakes up.

Seeing this Diana gets shocked but doesn’t say anything, She keeps quiet and decides to ask Krius later on. Krius breaks the ice on Ra’s’ mouth allowing him to speak.

“Master!!! Forgive this insolent soul!! How could I ever forget you!!” As Ra’s’ behavior changes completely Krius only smiles.

“It’s alright Ra’s now stand up and lead me to the Lazarus pit,” I say with a smile while breaking the ice on his body. I knew he wasn’t just going to accept working under me on his own accords but I asked anyway to see how he’d react, I mean Ra’s al Ghul is supposed to be a man with great pride.

I took control of the League of Assassins because of their worldwide influence and their future connection to the one and only Batman. I’m not going to go after Talia al Ghul as she later gives birth to Damien Wayne, Batman’s son but her sister Nyssa Raatko is a good candidate. Talia is going to be born around the same time as Batman and Nyssa around 4 or 5 years later.

Under my control, Ra’s’ pride washes away as he happily gets up and leads us underground. There were a few Assassins who were about to attack me but he stops them. After walking for a long time we finally reach the pit. It was glowing green with green smokes coming out of it. It had a slimy texture when looking at it but felt like water when touching it. It doesn’t affect people unless they are fully submerged in it.

“What kind of water is this Krius? And why is it glowing like that.” Diana gets curious again and asks.

“It’s called the Lazarus Pit. It has the power to make someone young again but repeated use of it can turn someone insane or turn them into a mindless killer.” Hearing me make light of something like this she immediately asks with a serious face,

“So were you planning on using it yourself even though it’s dangerous?”

“Hahahaha. No, I wasn’t so don’t worry. I already can’t age so it will be useless for me right now but I am hoping to find a method to turn it into something much more useful.” I laugh at her question and answer.

“You don’t age?” Diana looks at me in shock but I don’t say anything.

I take out a test tube I bought from the system and filled it with Lazarus water.

‘System can you analyze this to find a method of purifying it?”

< Yes. Estimated time 3 hours. >

‘Alright then get started.’

As I tell the system to analyze it, the test disappears from my hand. I wanted a purified version of this in order to find a way to turn normal people immortal without making them go crazy like what the Lazarus Pit does to Ra’s. I want all of my women to live as long as I do but I wouldn’t want any of them to turn crazy.

“Okay Ra’s I need you to purchase some land in New York start construction on a mansion for me, I will send over the blueprints in a few days. I also need you to make connections with the biggest technological and biological scientists in America using the name ‘Star Labs’ and tell them we will provide them with the resources they need as long as they work for us. I will provide all the necessary funds and I want you to start working on them immediately.” I obviously needed a place to live in and since Star Labs doesn’t exist yet I figured I can make my own.

Star Labs is connected to various superheroes in the future and I would love to have a hand in it by creating it. I will obviously not reveal my connection to the whole world but I will always be the person in charge.

“Yes Master, do not worry I will personally take care of everything and notify you after we are finished.” Ra’s says while bowing his head.

“Okay, then I should be going now. I will tell you how to contact me later on.” I turn my back to him and face Diana.

“It’s time to go somewhere else Diana,”

“Oh, you are finished here?” She asks as if she wanted to leave for a while.

“Not entirely but now that I’ve been here I can come here again at any time.” I had already put a teleportation mark in the throne room so I put one in here as well.

I extend my hand towards Diana and as she takes it, we teleport away.
