Demon Kings Pet - 67 Chapter 58
With the rush of pure Spiritual Energy, as well as the many high ranking Spirit beasts, many sects rushed to the mountain range in order to find out what had happened. This however, didn’t have anything to do with Wang and Ai as they had already left to find a new realm to ‘grow’ in.
One had to be amazed with the many different Realms that were around. Many of which would be avoided, as the Righteous Sects held claim over them. But there were a few that remain unprotected.
Once more in his fox form, Ai snuggled into Wang’s embrace as he was carried to the new location. Having spent a month in the first realm, then another week trying to find a new location to train in, the two had firmly consolidated their new levels. They also used the time traveling to gather a few other resources, such as spacial tools and other needed items.
When they were sure that there was nothing else they might need, Wang had begun to head to the new Secret Realm. This one had similar rumors as the last, though a few other cultivators had managed to ‘escape’ the realm without completely breaking the barrier.
“Are you sure it will be the same?” Ai asked looking up to the cave that had a faint trace of spiritual energy. He really wasn’t sure, the last one was okay because he had been ‘received’ as a guest rather than dinner. But that was because of his bloodline, there was no Guarantee it would happen again ah?
Wang laughed lightly as he patted the fox’s head. “There’s nothing to worry about. The rumors from the few that managed to leave said it was filled with Spiritual Beasts ah? Aren’t you the best for dealing with those?” he asked.
Ai pouted slightly while his tails swished about with a faint anger. “Well, if you get eaten, it’s not my fault.” He stated as if the others death wouldn’t bother him. Though the thought of Wang being eaten caused a depressing mood to fill him.
It was as if Wang was able to sense this, smiling softly as he continued to stroke the fox’s fur. “No worries. I’ll make sure that I wont die ah? I still need to be around to keep you safe.” he said, pleased his little wife didn’t seem too happy at the thought of his ‘death’.
When the two arrived. Both parties looked at one another while finding that they didn’t have a means to actually cross it ah? What was with the promise of possibly getting trapped inside ah?!
The two felt their moods lower a bit while Ai hopped down, walking over to bang his paw against the barrier while Wang also went to another side to lightly tap his knuckles against the field preventing them from going through.
“Is there a special way to get in?” the two asked, heads trying to figure out how it was they could get into the secret realm. There were no comments of it being ‘closed’ off, nor did they hear that anything was needed to enter. Then again, those who had ‘escaped’ refused to say how they got in.
Ai’s ears lowered as he began to pout slightly. The whole point of coming here was to gather more treasures and knowledge left within these realms ah? How can he get them if he’s unable to get in!
Sensing his mood, Wang walked over and crouched, reaching to lightly pat the fox’s head. “Don’t worry. I’m sure there is a way in ah? We just need to look a bit closer, maybe we need to trigger a specific array or maybe there was a hidden entry point? It could be the others who entered had done so by mistake instead of just showing up right?
With the renewed spirit, Ai began to move around the edge of the barrier, sniffing around while trying to sense any way to get in. He also kept his eyes peeled for some kind of ‘trigger’ point.
While the two were looking around the entrance, a rustling sound caught them off guard. Wang paused to look back at the bushes with a narrowed gaze. Ai just turned his ears, listening with confusion before the rustle sounded again.
The rustling went on a few more times before a young girl finally broke free, panting as she stood before the two, glancing behind here. “Stupid…” she muttered before turning her gaze back, freezing at seeing the male and fox before her.
The girl’s gaze moved from the fox to the male and back a few times before sighing. “Finally someone else! Listen here, there’s many different spirit beasts rushing about ah?! I can’t believe how many of them happened to rush into my path damn it!” she said finally letting her guard down as she fell to her knees.
Seeing how the male hadn’t said anything, nor moved to help her, the girl’s gaze moved back to him. Silence filled the air as the two looked at one another. Wang’s expression grew darker the longer she looked at him.
It wasn’t until a light flashed before the girl’s eyes, that she finally pushed herself back up again. With a strange surge of energy, she rushed up to Wang, eyes glowing. “You are Wang ah!? So you go trapped here too?” her tone was bright and filled with an odd happiness.
“Great! I’m not alone anymore, what more it’s Wang ah?! The great PK player! Y-E-S!” Jumping up and down, the girl let her glee completely control her. Her face darkened with a light blush as she moved around, gazing Wang up and down.
“Hmn…Though you seem a bit different ah? You were the strongest player in the game?” her comment caused Ai’s ears to tremble, his gaze moving from the crazy girl to Wang.
Wang felt his back chill slightly, his annoyed gaze leaving the girl to glance at Ai. He couldn’t possibly…
