Demon Kings Pet - 71 Chapter 62
Hua pushed her worries to the side before starting to follow once more. It wasn’t like she could really do anything else right? Besides, clearly her challenge to get the dreamed male lead would be harder then she thought! So, the girl began to think of a new plan, while slowly following the path the two had taken.
Ai himself hadn’t really known why he was trying to flee. But after running for a while he came to a stop, only to curl up under one of the many crystals that formed a sort of crystal forest. The soft glow making the view of this forest rather beautiful.
Wang hadn’t been to far behind the little fox, quickly making his way over to him. However, he didn’t dare try to lift his little wife up, instead he moved to sit just to the side of him. “I’m sorry Ai, please don’t be mad ah?” he tried to coax the little fox back.
The youth however refused to look at him, just tucking his tails closer to his body as he let out a small huff of air. Why should he forgive that play boy ah? He clearly had better options for a partner, but he still had to do those things to him? The thoughts brought more jealousy to the fox, however he refused to believe that he, a fox of royal birth was even able to feel these feelings.
When Hua finally caught up, she at least had enough sense to keep some space between her and the brooding Wang. Instead she turned her gaze to the fox that seemed to be ignoring the male? Tilting her head confused, Hua moved to sit on the other side, “Is it not feeling good?” she asked. Unable to think of a reason for the adorable fluff ball to be curled up like this.
Ai just shifted, turning to face his back end at the girl before grumbling a soft growl. Why did she still have to follow ah? He didn’t want her to seem him in this state, so embarrassing!
Wang was about to comment on something when a sound echoed through the caves open space. The Crystal shards trembling slightly before the spiritual air began to grow stronger. Both Wang and Ai lifted their gaze to one another blinking as they stared at one another.
Hua wasn’t sure what was going on, unable to feel the change in the spiritual air around her as she just looked around for whatever made the odd sound from before. “It…seems we aren’t alone?” she wondered, her own nerves began to turn as she felt goosebumps forming on her arms.
Ignoring the comment, Ai got up and shook his fur before leaping back into Wang’s arms. Despite still being mad at him, it was better than being alone ah? He couldn’t fight! Wang gladly took the soft ball of fluff, lightly petting it while standing back up.
“Lets go find a place to set up camp. You get lost” the large male stated as he lightly pat the fox, his gaze then turning to the girl with a glare. He really didn’t want to test Ai’s patients and have him run off again. It was all her fault, so she was the one who had to leave obviously!
Unable to argue anymore with the idiot, Wang just took off again, heading into the soft glowing Crystal forest to find a place to set up their camp. Since they were already inside a cave, it wasn’t really optional for them to find a new cave to hide in. Though, when they finally found a place to call home while in this blasted realm, the girl still was standing just behind them!
The two just glared at the girl as Ai moved to sit on the side, letting Wang set up their little camp.
Hua wasn’t sure what to do, standing off to the side while waiting. Though she was convincing herself that the male would welcome her if she kept persisting, it was a bit harder to thicken her skin and just sleep next to him. Thus, by the end of it, she had her own little tent set up.
Wang drew a line, his gaze making the girl tremble slightly. “Don’t pass this line!” he threatened as he and Ai turned to go into their own tent. Leaving Hua to stare at the pitiable tent behind her. Clearly it wasn’t enough to use as a tent ah? She’d only tried to weakly make a poor tent hoping Wang would help her after seeing the lack of skill. But now she was stuck used the poor thing as her home?!
Grumbling to herself, Hua began to try to make the tent a bit more usable, however only made it worse. The clothe she’d used to cover the outside ripped and now had a huge hole in the roof!
Inside the tent Wang had set up, was an array that allowed for an actual house like setup. There was a nicely sized ‘living’ area, a bedroom, bathroom, as well as a side room for Ai to cultivate his pill making.
Though they wouldn’t be able to have a ‘kitchen’ as that would possibly cause Ai to remember what he shouldn’t, Wang made sure to arrange everything as best he could.
The fox was rather pleased with the ‘tent’ that Wang had made. His mood easing up as he shifted back into his human form and quickly went to the pill room. “I’m going to cultivate! Go get dinner” he called out. Though he wasn’t as angry as he’d been. He still felt Wang should have some kind of punishment!
