Demon Kings Pet - 72 Chapter 63
Wang was left staring at the entry way to the pill room, unable refute the will of his lovely wife. “Okay ah? I’ll make sure to get some herbs too!” he said hoping to appease the little fox so that he wasn’t angry anymore. With the possibility of getting forgiveness, Wang quickly left to get the needed items for meals, as well as any herbs he could find.
Ai ignored the male, becoming absorbed in his own cultivation as he went over the steps he’d learned in the other realm. It would be best to fully cultivate the first method before trying to find more cultivation skills to increase his strength in pill making. It was rather good that the first one he’d found, and been a beginners manual ah? What would he have done if it were for later stages of Pill making?
Hua had been fiddling with the damn tent, trying to make it more usable, and hadn’t realized that Wang had snuck out and left. Instead, when she finally gave up she just huffed and moved to sit down on a rock, pouting. Her gaze would drift to the males tent, half wanting to just go beg for him to share his tent, or to help her fix her own.
However, she didn’t dare to press him to far. Clearly he wasn’t ready to see her in a good light. First she needed him to warm up first. Then her plans of getting the male would be easier. Hua wasn’t as stupid as most females when trying to seduce a man. Clearly you needed to find a weakeners to appeal to!
By the time Ai had finished his pill making, Wang still hadn’t returned. Knitting his brows, he shifted back into his fox form before making his way out of the cave. He wasn’t sure why, he just didn’t want to appear in his human form in front of the girl. Though he wasn’t sure why he felt this way.
Hua was still lazing on the rock, poking at the dirt below with a stick she’d found. Seeing the fox walking out of the tent, her eyes light up as she tossed it to the side. “Ah, the spiritual beast! Did you want something to eat?” she asked pulling out some crude burnt jerky that she’d tried making before.
The little fox pulled his nose back in disgust while making a weird face. Hua blushed while rubbing her nose with the free hand, tossing the nasty meat to the side. “Yeah, it wasn’t that tasty anyways.” she said mostly to herself. Fiddling with her skirt, the girl wasn’t sure what else to do, however the mood became less awkward as Wang finally returned.
Hua was caught off guard as the male came from the side, instead of from inside the tent. “I got dinner” the male said moving to the fox that had moved to exploring the crystals around their campground.
Ai looked up to see Wang holding what looked to be a rodent of some kind, along with a few strange looking beasts. Tilting his head, he turned his gaze to the male as he blinked up at him. Wang wasn’t sure what the fox was doing, until he remembered the girl, his expression darkening for a moment.
It wasn’t until the food was finished, that Wang moved again, setting up a small bowel of food for Ai to eat, taking the rest of the food to finish off himself. He didn’t leave one scrap of meat for the girl.
Hua had been eagerly waiting at the side, her stomach lightly growling as she wiped some drool from her chin. Ah the food smelt so good! Her man new how to cook dang it?! What better man was out there? Clearly she was right, and this was her fated male lead ah?!
When she saw Wang move to feeding the little Spirit beast, then taking the rest to eat himself, she felt her face darken a bit before stamping her foot. “Hey, where’s my food?!” she asked while pointing to the two who were eating happily without her.
“Why does the Spirit beast get to eat before me ah?! I’m a person! I should of gotten food first!” clearly the whole in her brain seemed to make it impossible for Hua to understand that Wang had never agreed to her being part of the group.
Ai was uncaring as he continued to eat, making sure to eat as quickly as possible so that the girl wouldn’t get a chance to eat anything. Hmph, this was his food, not sharing!
Wang just glanced up from his own bowel before turning his gaze back down, reaching to pet the little fox. “Don’t rush, it wont run off ah? Just enjoy it.” he said in a tender tone. Clearly not wanting to reply to the damn idiot.
Hua felt her face burn with anger as she stamped her feet again. “Where’s my dinner?!” She asked again, her tone slightly louder than before. However, before she could comment again, she shrunk back as Wang glared at her.
“I told you that I didn’t want you to follow us, you clearly didn’t listen. Why should I feed you? Go get your own food.” he stated coldly before turning back to his own food. His words made Ai feel even more pleased, as he ate with a new found pleasure. Mmn, yes. His Wang was clearly the best!
The thought of claiming Wang as his, something he didn’t seem to realize.
