Demonic CEO: Fluff Fluff Please Be My Pet - Chapter 64
As they ate, Old Mo and Old Yun couldn’t keep their eyes off Spot. They watched as the little robotic pooch ran back and forth on the table, wagging its tail, looking for pats. They, of course, indulged the little guy and happily patted him with strange faces that were not fit for old men. Shen Xia couldn’t help but smile at the two’s actions as she ate her food. She was highly enjoying the food here. It was made one of the best five-star chefs in all of City A. There were only three in the entire city, and one of them worked here at this hotel.
While Shen Xia was eating, she had no idea her reactions were being watched like a hawk seeking its prey. All the staff were up in arms if they would be able to treat their Mistress to food that she truly loved. But seeing her so happily enjoying her food with her cheeks puffed out like a squirrel really touched their hearts, making them tear up.
After a joyful meal, Shen Xia leaned back in her chair and rubbed her slightly protruding belly. “I ate too much, but the food was so good!”
“Miss Shen, some after-dinner spritz to help settle your stomach.” A waiter came over and placed a glass of sparkling water down in front of Shen Xia. It even had strawberry slices sliced up inside it, giving the water a red tint. Although the waiter called it a spritz, it did not have a drop of alcohol in it.
“Ah! Thank you!” Shen Xia smiled brightly as she took a sip of the carbonated water. She shivered and wrinkled her nose as the bubbles flowed down her throat. But it was very refreshing.
While Shen Xia seemed to be getting the special treatment, the two old men began to talk to Di. “These are the transfer papers our lawyers wrote up. Please read through them and tell us if there is anything amiss. This should state that all of our companies’ properties will be released to Xiaxia and will give her full ownership of both companies.”
“Thanks.” Di took the files and started reading through them. Page by page, he went line by line, reading every word. Since it was just a transfer of properties, there was not much to read, but Di still took his time to read them not just once but five times. During this time, Shen Xia, who was full of food, had already put her head down and was napping away. She was very carefree.
But she had every reason to be in such high spirits as she was now married to the man she promised to spend all eternity with and was no longer in heat. Just these two factors alone were enough to put her in a carefree mood.
“Both transfer papers are perfectly fine,” Di said finally as he put the files back down and took out a pen. He signed his name as the witness of the signing before pushing the two files in front of Shen Xia. “Miss Shen….”
“Hmmm?” Shen Xia raised her head and saw the files sitting in front of her and Di’s outstretched arm with a pen in his hand. She took the pen and signed her name to both files before finally sitting up and rubbing her eyes. “Is that it?”
“Yes, Miss Shen, as of today, you are the CEO of both companies. Have you decided on a name yet? If you have, I can register the new name today.” Di asked.
“Mmm… X-A.I. Corp. Thank you Di, I will probably need to trouble you more in the future.” Shen Xia said with a bright smile. If not for Di, she would not know what she was looking at if she read through the transfer papers. Since her grandpa trusted Di, so would she.
“Alright! Haha! Now let’s go to the companies. We have already informed both of our staff that a new CEO will be taking over the company. They are all eagerly awaiting the arrival of their new boss.” Old Mo said with a clap of his hands.
“Mm… I wanted to check it out myself and see how the facilities worked. I also want to begin the production of a new line of intelligent A.I. I plan to release a line of affordable and useful home helper robots. They should be able to do anything you ask. As long as we streamline the process and make everything in-house, we will be able to create our robots for much cheaper than having to outsource parts. I would prefer to stay away from other companies as much as possible. Also, we will not need chips of any kind since everything can be sent through the neural network of light. A new age of robots will be upon us. But first…. Di.” Shen Xia turned and looked at DI. “I need you to write up a non-disclosure agreement that will put someone in jail for life if they break it. I do not want any of my tech leaked. And if people wish to quit because of it, that is fine too. I will just build robots to replace them.”
Old Mo and Old Yun looked at Shen Xia, stunned. They never expected a girl who was freshly eighteen would have such a good handle on how things work in the business world. What she said made a lot of sense. If a company did not have a strict non-disclosure agreement, then espionage was something they really had to look out for.
“Also, all networked computers will need to be removed. We will have an in-house network off-grid as well as full-body checks upon entering and leaving. Anyone who does not comply will be fired…” Shen Xia lowered her head as she continued: “Di, is this within legal rights?”
Di smiled as he nodded his head. “Of course.. Any thing Miss Shen wants is perfectly within legal rights as long as I say so.”
