The double doors of Clear Tech Corp opened, allowing Shen Xia, Di, Old Mo, and Old Yun to walk inside. This was Old Mo’s company’s main building and R&D facility. The upstairs had offices, meeting rooms, coding rooms, and even planning rooms, while the first floor had the employee common areas. In a separate building in the back was the main factory for creating robot vacuums and other products. They also had robot attendants as well, but they were nothing in comparison to what Shen Xia wished to create.

There was one counter at the main entrance where people had to check in, in order to go anywhere in the company. As soon as the receptionist saw Old Mo, she quickly stood up and bowed her head. “Master Mo.”

“Why are you bowing to me? I do not own this place anymore. Bow to Xiaxia here. She is your new boss.” Old Mo waved his hand as if what he said was the most natural thing in the world.

The receptionist, who was around twenty-five years of age, looked up to see a young girl who looked around eighteen years of age holding a robotic dog in her arms, standing there staring back at her. She couldn’t help but find the young girl to be inhumanly beautiful. Her black hair fell gently out of place, some of it hanging over her shoulder while the rest down her back. Her small face and cute little nose and mouth made even the receptionist’s heart skip a beat. She couldn’t help but think to herself: ‘Did I just fall in love!?’ She couldn’t understand why such a beautiful girl existed. But what sent the receptionist’s cheeks burning red was when Shen Xia smiled at her and bowed her head.

“I will be in your care from now on.” Shen Xia wondered if her being young had caused the woman to become silent.

“Ah! Yes! I’m sorry! It is a pleasure to work under you Miss… Xiaxia?” The receptionist wasn’t sure if Xiaxia was her actual name or a nickname, so she could only say this as she greeted Shen Xia.

“Xiaxia is fine. I do not like formalities. As long as everyone is doing their job, then everything is fine. Oh… One thing. If anyone from the Shen Corporation shows up looking for a meeting, just call security. Don’t even explain anything, just kick them out.” Shen Xia did not want trash on her property. She did not even think Shen Chen and his family had the right to even receive a reason as to why they were being thrown out. This, of course, was different for her grandma, grandfather, and Shen Lingxin. Thinking of this, she paused and said: “Before kicking anyone out who has the last name Shen, notify me first. It could be someone from my family.”

“Lass, just get the ones you want to allow entry some access passes. This way, they only need to show their ID to go wherever the pass allows them to. ” Old Mo suggested.

“Mmm, this works.” Shen Xia nodded and then looked at the receptionist: “I will send down a name list later of the ID passes I need to make up.”

“Leave it to me. I will get them made up right away.” The receptionist replied happily. A new boss showed up, and she was already trusting her with such an important task! The receptionist vowed to do a perfect job in order to not disappoint her new goddes… Boss!

Shen Xia nodded and had Old Mo give her a tour of the building. He introduced her to all the staff and even called a board meeting so that everyone knew who the new boss was. “Old Master Mo, are you joking?”

“When has this old man ever joked!?” Old Mo looked at the old men sitting at the meeting table with cold eyes. “Did I not already tell you all that I have found my heir and that she would be taking over!? The papers are already signed, and she owns this company now. If you do not wish to get fired, I suggest that you pull your heads out of your old asses and bow to your new master!”

“Pftt…” Shen Xia couldn’t hold in her laughter. Old Mo’s face was bright red and knowing he was angry for her sake made her feel warm inside. But his words were still funny.

Old Mo saw Shen Xia smiling and laughing and smiled with her. He felt proud he could make the little girl laugh. “Xiaxia, feel free to do as you please with these old bastards. They like to fight with every decision I make and will probably do so more now that you are the CEO.”

“Mmm… That’s easy since I do not like people hindering me when I want to do something…. Di” Shen Xia turned and called for Di, who was standing by the wall.

“Yes, Young Miss.” Di stepped forward and stood next to Shen Xia.

“Write up something for these old men to sign as to why they are being fired and have accounting give them a half a month’s severance pay as it seems they do not do anything in the company besides cry.” Shen Xia ordered.

“You! Little girl, you can not fire us as we have every right to be here! We also have shares in the company!” One of the old men yelled as he stood up and pointed his finger at Shen Xia.

Shen Xia’s eyes flashed as she stood up and then hopped up onto the table. She walked over to the old man and stood there looking down at him. Her actions startled everyone present. “I can do as I please because I own the majority share. As of now, I will be bringing this company private and dropping out of the stock market. As Grandpa Yun’s company will be merging into mine, both companies will be pulled off the stock market, and your shares will become null and void. As I own the majority of both, I do not need your yeses or nos. I can do as I please because these companies belong to me.”

Shen Xia titled her head back and looked at Di, who was standing there smiling away. He seemed proud of his Young Miss taking such a strong stance. “Di, I can do this right?”

“Anything you wish to do I can make happen.” Di replied with a smile.

Shen Xia smiled and then turned back to the old men, her gaze passing over them all.. “As you can see, I can do anything I want.”
